Description

  

  Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Gemisches von     quaternären        Ammoniumverbindungen.       Gegenstand des Hauptpatentes ist ein  Verfahren zur Herstellung einer     quaternären          Ammoniumverbindung    durch Einwirkenlassen  von     Benzylchlorid    auf     Diäthyldodecylamin.     



  Gegenstand des vorliegenden Patentes  ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines     Ge-,          misches        quaternärer        Ammoniumverbindungen.     Das Verfahren ist dadurch gekennzeichnet,  dass man auf     Dimethylbenzylamin    ein Ge  misch von     Alkylbromiden    einwirken lässt,  wie es durch Einwirkung von Bromwasser  stoff auf das Alkoholgemenge erhältlich ist,  das durch Reduktion der bei der     Verseifung     von     Fetteil    entstehenden Fettsäuren erhalten  wird.

   Die Reaktion erfolgt zweckmässig unter  Erwärmen und kann in Gegenwart eines       Verdünnemittels,    wie Wasser oder Alkohol,  durchgeführt werden. Das bei der Reaktion  entstandene Produkt bildet eine zähe, gelb  liche Masse, die in Wasser zu einer klaren,  stark schäumenden Lösung löslich ist. Es  hat netzende und desinfizierende Eigenschaf-         ten    und soll für Desinfektionszwecke Ver  wendung finden.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>       135    Gewichtsteile.     Dimethylbenzylamin     erwärmt man 12 Stunden auf 100   unter  Rühren mit 260 Gewichtsteilen eines Ge  misches von     Alkylbromiden,    wie es beispiels  weise entsteht durch Einwirkung von Brom  wasserstoff auf das Gemenge von Alkoholen,  das durch katalytische Hydrierung der aus  natürlichen Fetten durch     Verseifung    erhält  lichen Fettsäuren gewonnen werden kann.  Nach dem Erkalten erhält man als Reak  tionsprodukt eine zähe, gelbliche Masse, die  sich klar in Wasser löst und deren     wässrige     Lösungen stark schäumen.

Das neue Produkt bildet eine zähe, gelb liche Masse, die in Wasser zu einer klaren, stark schäumenden Lösung löslich ist. Es hat desinfizierende Eigenschaften.
