Abstract

MéTODO DE PRODUçãO DE XILITOL ATRAVéS DO EMPREGO DE HIDROLISATO CONTENDO XILOSE E ARABINOSE PREPARADO A PARTIR DO SUBPRODUTO DA BIOMASSA DE FRUTAS TROPICAIS. A presente invenção refere-se a um método para a produção de xilitol através do emprego de um hidrolisato contendo xilose e arabinose preparado a partir de subprodutos da biomassa de frutas tropicais e mais precisamente, um método para a produção de xilitol que inclui as etapas de produção da xilose e da arabinose pelo pré-tratamento de subprodutos tropicais da biomassa de frutas incluindo casca de coco, casca de palma e penca de fruta vazia de óleo de palma (OPEFB) através da hidrólise ácida (0,2~5%), uma eletrodiálise e de uma purificação iõnica; e produção do xilitol com rendimento elevado com base na fermentação do tipo descontínua repetida através do emprego de um hidrolisato contendo xilose e arabinose como uma fonte de carbono.
