Abstract

"PROCESSO PARA A PRODUçãO DE BIODIESEL A PARTIR DE óLEO RENOVáVEL NA PRESENçA DE CATáLISE POR LIPASE EM UM SISTEMA DE REAçãO EM MEIO ORGáNICO". A presente invenção prove um novo processo para a produção de biodiesel a partir de óleo renovável na presença de catálise por lipase em um sistema de reação em meio orgânico. Nesse processo, é usado um álcool de cadeia curta ROH como um receptor de acila, sendo usado como meio de reação um solvente orgânico relativamente hidrofílico sem efeito negativo na reatividade da lipase, e matéria-prima de óleo renovável sendo catalisada por uma lipase para sintetizar o biodiesel por meio de uma reação de transesterificação. No processo da presente invenção, a material-prima de óleo renovável pode ser quase completamente convertida em biodiesel e um subproduto glicerina, e a produção do biodiesel é de 94% ou mais. Esse novo tipo de sistema de reação em meio orgânico promove a solubilidade do álcool de cadeia curta na matéria-prima do óleo renovável e dissolve parte do subproduto glicerina. Como conseqüência, o tempo de reação é reduzido, a produtividade do biodiesel aumenta e a reatividade e tempo de vida da lipase são aperfeiçoadas no processo da presente invenção.
