Abstract
Un proceso para purificar una solución de colorante caramelo que comprende introducir la solución de colorante caramenlo en un adsorbente, donde el adsorbente adsorbe el 4-Mel para formar una solución de colorante caramelo purificada, así como agregar un ácido a la solución de colorante caramelo purificada para disminuir el pH a menos de 5.
