Abstract
"PROCESSO E APARELHO PARA A POLIMERIZAçãO DE ETILENO". O presente invento descreve um processo para preparar um polietileno com distribuição larga de pesos moleculares, pela polimerização de etileno na presença de um catalisador de polimerização, o processo compreendendo as seguintes etapas, em qualquer ordem mútua: a) polimerizar etileno, opcionalmente junto com um ou mais comonómeros <244>olefínicos tendo de 3 a 12 átomos de carbono, em um reator de fase gasosa na presença de hidrogênio, b) copolimerizar etileno com um ou mais comonómeros <244>-olefínicos tendo de 3 a 12 átomos de carbono em outro reator de fase gasosa na presença de uma quantidade de hidrogênio menor que a da etapa a), em que em pelo menos um de ditos reatores de fase gasosa as partículas de polímero em crescimento fluem para cima através de uma primeira zona de polimerização sob condições de fluidização ou transporte rápido, deixam dita zona elevadora e entram numa segunda zona de polimerização através da qual elas fluem para baixo sob a ação da gravidade.
