Abstract

Processo e aparelho para a polimerização de propileno. O presente invento descreve um processo para preparar copolímeros heterofásicos de propileno pela polimerização de propileno na presença de um catalisador de polimerização e de hidrogênio como regulador de peso molecular, o processo compreendendo as seguintes etapas: a) polimerizar propileno numa fase gasosa ou líquida, opcionalmente juntamente com um ou mais comonómeros a-olefínicos, para preparar uma fração polimérica cristalina; b) copolimerizar etileno com propileno e/ou buteno-1, e opcionalmente com um ou mais copolímeros <244>-oleflnicos C~ 5~-C~ 12~, num reator de fase gasosa tendo zonas de polimerização interconectadas, em que as partículas poliméricas em crescimento fluem para cima através de uma primeira zona de polimerização (elevadora) sob condições de fluidização rápida ou de transporte, deixam dita zona elevadora e entram numa segunda zona de polimerização (abaixadora) através da qual elas fluem para baixo sob a ação da gravidade.
