Abstract

"FORNO E MéTODO DE OPERAçãO E CONTROLE DO MESMO". A presente invenção se refere a um forno (10) , seu método de operação e controle. A invenção elimina problemas associados a fornos existentes pela melhoria da taxa de recuperação de metal de resíduo. Em uma modalidade preferida, o forno (10) compreende um corpo cilíndrico de diâmetro interno constante. O corpo de forno (12) é montado em um quadro (15) pivotado em membros de fundação (16a e 16b), o corpo de forno (12) é adaptado para ser reclinado ou inclinado ou em vários ângulos (<244> e <225>); um queimador (30) para aquecer o forno e uma porta (19a, 19b) para vedação de uma extremidade aberta (14). Como as paredes internas do corpo de forno (12) são de um diâmetro constante, não é mais necessário inclinar o forno (10) até certo grau de modo a se vazar o metal fundido, porque não há um gargalo estreito (o qual previamente atuava como um vertedouro). Em uma modalidade preferida, ar de combustão é direcionado através da dobradiça da porta para o queimador (30).
