Abstract
"HOMOPOLìMEROS DE ETILENO DE ALTA DENSIDADE E COMPOSIçõES DE MISTURA". A presente invenção refere-se a novos homopolímeros importantes para aplicações onde seja necessária alta densidade para assegurar certas propriedades mecânicas como resistência à abrasão, resistência a entalhe, resistência à pressão, resistência à carga máxima, módulo de elasticidade, ou morfologia (para a cloração de PE em CPE) e vantagens adicionais como processabilidade de fusão. A presente invenção também se refere a composições de mistura contendo o homopolímero novo, cujo uso permite a incorporação de mais comonómero nos componentes adicionais da mistura (para a mesma densidade global) resultando em formação aumentada de molécula de ligação e aperfeiçoamento em propriedades como ESCR, tenacidade e resistência a impacto. A mistura pode ser obtida por mistura em fusão ou seca dos componentes já produzidos, ou através da produção no local por reatores dispostos em paralelo e/ou em série. Estas resinas podem ser utilizadas em aplicações como películas, artigos moldados por sopro, moldados por injeção e rotomoldados, fibras e revestimentos de fio e cabo e encamisamentos e várias formas de cano.
