Abstract
Foreliggende oppfinnelse vedrører nye homopolymerer som er viktige på anvendelsesområder hvor det er nødvendig med høy tetthet for å sikre bestemte mekaniske egenskaper som slitasjebestandighet, inntrykkingsbestandighet, trykkbestandighet, overflatebestandighet, elastisitetsmodul, eller morfologi (for klorering av PE til CPE) og ytterligere fordeler slik som smeltebearbeiding. Denne oppfinnelsen vedrører også blanding av sammensetninger inneholdende den nye homopolymeren, anvendelsen som tillater innarbeidelse av mer komonomer i tillegg til komponentene i blandingen (generelt med den samme tettheten) noe soms resulterer i økt molekylbindingsdannelse og forbedringer i egenskaper slik som ESCR, hardhet og slagfasthet. Blandingen kan oppnås ved tørr eller smelte-blanding av de allerede fremstilte komponentene, eller ved in-situ-fremstilling i en parallell og/eller i serie-oppstilte reaktorer. Disse harpiksene kan anvendes i ulike formål slik som filmer, formblåsing, sprøytestøping, og rotorstøpte artikler, og kabler og ledningsovertrekk og innkledning og, ulike ledningsformer.
