Abstract

Patente de Invenção: <B>"COMPOSIçõES DE POLIPROPILENO RAMIFICADO"<D>. Composições de polipropileno ramificado que têm resistência melhorada à fusão e boa processabilidade é provida. As composições da presente invenção têm uma polidispersidade de menos do que 4,0 e um ponto de fusão maior do que 90°C. Além disso, o índice de ramificação médio de peso, g, das composições de polipropileno é menor do que 0,95. Adicionalmente, um novo processo é provido para eficientemente produzir uma composição de polipropileno ramificado compreendendo: a) contatar monómeros de propileno em um reator com um diluente ou solvente de hidrocarboneto neutro e uma composição catalisadora compreendendo um ou mais compostos catalisadores de sítio único capazes de produzir polipropileno estéreo-específico em uma temperatura de cerca de 40°C a cerca de 120°C, onde a relação no reator dos referidos monómeros de propileno para o referido diluente ou solvente de hidrocarboneto neutro é menor do que 9,0, e ainda, onde os referidos monómeros de propileno e o referido diluente ou solvente de hidrocarboneto neutro compreende pelo menos 50 por cento do conteúdo total do referido reator; e b) recuperar uma composição de polipropileno ramificado tendo uma polidispersidade de menos do que ou igual a 4,0 e um ponto de fusão maior do que 90°C, onde o índice de ramificação médio de peso, g, da referida composição de polipropileno ramificado é menor do que 0,95.
