Abstract

"COMPOSIçõES DE POLIOLEFINA APRESENTANDO ALTA TENACIDADE". Uma composição de poliolefina adequada para preparar membranas de cobertura de telhado de camada simples, compreendendo: (A) de aproximadamente 15 a cerca de 40% em peso de um copolímero cristalino de propileno com pelo menos uma alfa-olefina de fórmula H~ 2~C=CHR^ 1^, onde R^ 1^ é H ou uma C~ 2-5~ alquila linear ou ramificada, contendo pelo menos aproximadamente 90% em peso de propileno, apresentando solubilidade em xileno à temperatura ambiente menor do que aproximadamente 15% em peso; (B) de aproximadamente 60 a cerca de 85% em peso de uma fração de elastómero compreendendo: (1) um copolímero de propileno com etileno, contendo de aproximadamente 20 a cerca de 35% em peso de etileno e apresentando solubilidade em xileno à temperatura ambiente maior do que aproximadamente 70% em peso, a viscosidade intrínseca da fração solúvel em xileno sendo maior do que aproximadamente 3,0 dl/g; e (2) um copolímero de etileno com pelo menos uma alfa-olefina de fórmula H~ 2~C=CHR^ 2^, onde R^ 2^ é uma C~ 2-8~ alquila linear ou ramificada, contendo aproximadamente 15% a 40% em peso de alfa-olefina, e tendo solubilidade em xileno à temperatura ambiente maior do que aproximadamente 25% em peso, a viscosidade intrínseca da fração solúvel de xileno variando de aproximadamente 0,5% a cerca de 5,0 dl/g; a razão em peso de (1)/(2) variando de aproximadamente 1:5 a cerca de 5:1.
