Abstract
"ESQUELETO POLIMéRICO MACROPOROSO, PROCESSO PARA FABRICá-LO, PROCESSOS PARA CULTIVAR TECIDO, COM DISTRIBUIçãO PENETRANTE, EM UM ESQUELETO POLIMéRICO E EM UMA TRABéCULA TRI-DIMENSIONAL, E, TRABéCULA BIOCOMPATìVEL DE POLìMERO". Um esqueleto de polímero é fornecido compreendendo uma rede macroporosa extensivamente interconectada. O esqueleto de polímero incorpora macroporos tendo um diâmetro em uma faixa de 0,5 a 3,5 mm e preferivelmente em uma faixa de cerca de 1,0 a 2,0 mm. O esqueleto de polímero é preparado usando-se um novo processo que vantajosamente combina as técnicas de lixívia de particulado e inversão de fase para dar um processo que fornece meios ampliados, por meio do qual controla-se a morfologia do esqueleto de polímero resultante. O esqueleto de polímero tem utilidade na área de engendramento de tecido, particularmente como um esqueleto para o cultivo de célula tanto in vitro quanto in vivo.
