Abstract

"PAINEL INDICADOR DE CRISTAL LìQUIDO PARA RELóGIO". Descreve-se um painel indicador de cristal líquido para relógios, compreendendo um eletrodo contador (2) formado sobre um primeiro substrato (1) de um par de substratos transparentes, um eletrodo sinalizador (4) formado sobre um segundo substrato (3), uma camada de cristal líquido (5) que contém um cristal líquido e um material polimérico, e selada entre o primeiro substrato (1) e o segundo substrato (3), para formar uma célula (10) de cristal líquido do tipo polímero dispersado na qual as partes dos elementos de imagem (pixel) são formadas nas interseções entre o eletrodo sinalizador (4) e o eletrodo contador (2), uma placa refletora (15) que transmite uma parte da luz e está colocada sobre aquele lado do primeiro substrato (1) onde o eletrodo contador (2) não está colocado, e uma fonte de energia auxiliar colocada sobre o lado externo da placa refletora (15). Este painel indica informações horárias de modo que as informações indicadas possam ser vistas facilmente, mesmo quando a fonte de luz auxiliar está desligada.
