Abstract
"PROCEDIMENTO DE FUNDIçãO, CAIXA DE NúCLEO PRINCIPAL, MATRIZ E CABEçOTE DE CILINDROS DE MOTOR". A presente invenção se refere a um procedimento de fundição para obter Peças providas com cavidades ou furos internos, em que os furos e/ou cavidades são obtidos mediante assentamento em um molde ou coquilha para receber o metal derretido, de um ou mais núcleos feitos de areia ou outro material, e em que o núcleo principal é usado, realizado em uma caixa de núcleo especial, junto com um ou mais núcleos secundários a serem associados ao núcleo principal, compreendendo as seguintes etapas: revestir pelo menos um núcleo secundário, apenas nas zonas e pela espessura padrão com uma camada de material destinada a dissolver em contato com o material derretido; inserir os núcleos secundários pré-revestidos na caixa de núcleo principal ainda a ser moldada; moldar a caixa de núcleo principal; e inserir o grupo monolítico obtido na etapa anterior, consistindo no núcleo principal, nos núcleos secundários e no material de revestimento que os mantém firmemente conectados, no molde ou coquilha destinado a receber o metal derretido. Os núcleos a serem revestidos também podem ser formados por insertos ocos (23) feitos de um material resistente ao calor, preenchidos com resina polimerizada e areia, em que a cavidade representa o padrão do núcleo.
