Abstract

Patente de Invenção: "PROCESSO DE PRODUçãO DE RESINA ABSORVENTE DE áGUA". A presente invenção refere-se a um processo para a produção de uma resina absorvente de água da qual o teor de monómero residual e conteúdo que pode ser extraído por água são baixos. O processo para a produção de uma resina absorvente de água compreende a etapa de polimerização de pelo menos um componente monómero que inclui ácido acrílico e/ou um sal do mesmo como componentes principais para produzir uma resina absorvente de água que é um sal neutralizado e este processo é caracterizado pelo fato de que o ácido acrílico é um produto obtido por oxidação catalítica em fase gasosa de propileno e/ou de propano e tem um teor de protoanemonina de não mais do que 10 ppm e pelo fato de que a resina absorvente de água resultante tem uma razão de neutralização de não menos do que 50% em mol.
