Abstract

"MéTODOS PARA PRODUZIR DIóXIDO DE TITANIO SUBSTANCIALMENTE ISENTO DE ANATáSIO COM A ADIçãO DE HALOGENETO DE SILìCIO". A presente invenção refere-se a métodos para produzir dióxido de titânio misturando-se tetracloreto de titânio com um composto de silício para formar uma mistura e introduzindo-se a mistura e oxigênio em uma zona de reação para produzir o dióxido de titânio substancialmente isento de anatásio. A zona de reação tem uma pressão maior que 3,87 kgf/Cm^ 2^.
