Abstract

"MOTOR DE COMBUSTãO INTERNA". Um motor tendo uma coberta do mecanismo de distribuição com conexões de admissão e de descarga de refrigerante integralmente formadas para conexão com um radiador. A coberta forma uma câmara de admissão da bomba d'água e uma câmara de descarga da bomba d'água definidas pelas paredes da coberta e a face frontal do bloco do motor. A câmara de admissão da bomba d'água de pressão mais baixa separa a câmara de descarga da bomba d'água de mais alta de um cárter do mecanismo de distribuição para prevenir vazamento de refrigerante da câmara de admissão da bomba d'água para o interior do cárter do mecanismo de distribuição onde o óleo lubrificante seria contaminado. O corpo da bomba d'água também inclui uma conexão de drenagem para drenar o refrigerante do motor.
