Abstract
"MéTODO PARA PREPARAR UMA COMPOSIçãO DE MULITA, COMPOSIçãO DE MULITA, CONVERSOR CATALìTICO AUTOMOTIVO, CATALISADOR DE CAPTURA-OXIDAçãO DE PARTìCULAS E CAPTADOR DE PARTìCULAS". A presente invenção refere-se a uma composição de mulita que é compreendida substancialmente de grãos de mulita que estão essencialmente ligados quimicamente sendo que a composição tem pelo menos duas regiões contíguas que têm microestruturas substancialmente diferentes. A composição pode ser produzida formando uma mistura de um ou mais compostos precursores tendo os elementos presentes na mulita; conformação da mistura a uma forma verde porosa aplicando um agente controlador de nucleação a uma porção da forma verde porosa e então aquecer a forma verde porosa sob uma atmosfera e a uma temperatura suficientes para formar a composição de mulita.
