Abstract

Ce procédé consiste à placer le corps céramique dans un four pendant une première phase de traitement thermique 11 à la fin de laquelle les réactions de cuisson sont sensiblement complètes, et pendant une seconde phase de traitement thermique 17 entrainant un refroidissement final progressif. Suivant l'invention, le procédé comprend, entre la première et la seconde phases de traitement thermque, une phase 20 de distribution d'un émail en vrac et sec par-dessus le corps céramique, sensiblement à la température finale que celui.ci avait dans la première phase de traitement thermique, le corps céramique étant anené au cours de la partie initiale de la seconde phase à une température suffisante pour que l'émail se vitrifie, par fusion d'au moins une partie constitutive de celui-ci.
