Abstract

La presente se refiere a un sistema de reactor para llevar a cabo el reformado con vapor de un gas de alimentación que comprende hidrocarburos, que comprende: un catalizador estructurado dispuesto para catalizar el reformado con vapor de un gas de alimentación que comprende hidrocarburos, el catalizador estructurado comprende una estructura macroscópica de un material conductor de electricidad, la estructura macroscópica soporta un revestimiento de cerámica, en donde el revestimiento de cerámica soporta un material catalíticamente activo; una camisa de presión que aloja el catalizador estructurado; una capa de aislamiento térmico entre el catalizador estructurado y la camisa de presión; por lo menos los dos conductores conectados eléctricamente a la estructura macroscópica y a un suministro de energía eléctrica colocado fuera de la camisa de presión, en donde el suministro de energía eléctrica está dimensionado para calentar por lo menos parte del catalizador estructurado a una temperatura de por lo menos 500ºC al pasar una corriente eléctrica a través de la estructura macroscópica. La presente también se refiere a un proceso para el reformado con vapor de un gas de alimentación que comprende hidrocarburos.
