Abstract

Un método y aparato para proteger y autenticar informacion digital transmitida utilizando numerosas técnicas. El aparato puede ser un sistema de comunicacion inalámbrica multiplex de division de frecuencia ortogonal (OFDM), una estacion base, una unidad de transmision/recepcion inalámbrica (WTRU), un transmisor, un receptor, y/o un circuito integrado (IC). El sistema de comunicacion OFDM inalámbrica incluye un transmisor que incrusta informacion digital en forma esteganográfica en una senal de comunicacion OFDM y transmite en forma inalámbrica la senal de comunicacion OFDM. El sistema incluye, además, un receptor que recibe una senal de comunicacion OFDM y extrae la informacion digital incrustada en forma esteganográfica de la senal de comunicacion OFDM recibida.
