Description
본 발명은 리튬 이차 전지용 유기 용매, 이를 포함하는 리튬 이차 전지용 전해액 및 리튬 이차 전지에 관한 것이다.
최근 리튬 이차 전지의 사용 범위가 소형 전자 기기에서 대형 전자 기기, 자동차 등으로 확대되고 있다. 이에 따라, 리튬 이차 전지의 에너지 밀도를 향상시키기 위한 연구 및 개발이 지속적으로 진행되고 있다.
예를 들면, 고전압에서 작동 가능한 양극 활물질을 사용하면, 리튬 이차 전지의 에너지 밀도를 향상시킬 수 있다.
그러나, 리튬 이차 전지를 고전압에서 작동시키면, 전해액 중의 유기 용매가 쉽게 산화 분해되어 가스를 발생시키거나 지속적으로 부산물을 양극 표면에 형성시킬 수 있다. 이에 따라, 리튬 이차 전지의 성능(예를 들면, 수명 특성 등)이 저하될 수 있다.
또한, 고전압 작동 중, 양극 활물질 중 전이 금속(예를 들어, Ni, Co, Mn 등)이 쉽게 용출되어, 양극 활물질의 구조가 파괴될 수 있다. 이에 따라, 리튬 이차 전지의 용량이 저하되고, 용출된 금속 이온은 음극에 전착되어 리튬 이차 전지의 내부 저항이 증가될 수 있다.
또한, 고전압 작동 중, 전해액 중 유기 용매가 난연성이 부족한 경우, 보다 쉽게 열 폭주 현상을 유발할 수 있다.
특히, 고온 조건에서는 상술한 현상들이 심화되어, 리튬 이차 전지의 성능이 더욱 저하될 수 있다.
한편, 리튬 이차 전지의 전해액의 유기 용매로서, 카보네이트계 용매가 주로 사용되고 있다. 그러나, 상기 카보네이트계 용매를 단독으로 사용하는 경우, 고전압에서의 화학적 안정성 및 난연성이 낮다.
예를 들면, 난연성 용제로서, 불소 함유 카보네이트계 유기 용매들이 채용되고 있다. 예를 들면, 대한민국 공개특허공보 제10-2007-7021086호는 불소 함유 선형 카보네이트계 유기 용매를 개시하고 있다.
본 발명의 일 과제는 작동 안정성 및 화학적 안정성이 향상된 리튬 이차 전지용 유기 용매를 제공하는 것이다.
보다 상세하게는, 고전압 작동 조건에서도 화학적 안정성이 우수하고, 리튬염에 대한 용해도가 큰 리튬 이차 전지용 유기 용매를 제공하는 것이다.
본 발명의 일 과제는 작동 안정성 및 화학적 안정성이 향상된 리튬 이차 전지용 전해액을 제공하는 것이다.
본 발명의 일 과제는 작동 안정성 및 수명 특성이 향상된 리튬 이차 전지를 제공하는 것이다.
예시적인 실시예들에 따른 리튬 이차 전지용 유기 용매는 화학식 1로 표시되는 화합물을 포함할 수 있다.

예시적인 실시예들에 따른 리튬 이차 전지는 양극 및 음극을 포함하는 전극 조립체, 상기 전해액 및 상기 전극 조립체와 상기 전해액을 수용하는 케이스를 포함할 수 있다.
일 실시예에 있어서, 상기 양극은 리튬 금속 산화물 입자를 포함하는 양극 활물질을 포함하고, 상기 리튬 금속 산화물 입자 중 리튬 및 산소를 제외한 전체 원소들에 대한 리튬의 몰비는 1.1보다 클 수 있다.
예시적인 실시예들에 따른 리튬 이차 전지용 유기 용매는 후술하는 화학식 1로 표시되는 화합물을 포함하여, 향상된 난연성 및 고온 안정성을 가질 수 있다. 또한, 고전압 작동 조건에서 향상된 화학적 안정성(이하, 고전압 안정성)을 가질 수 있다.
예시적인 실시예들에 따른 리튬 이차 전지용 전해액은 상기 유기 용매를 포함하여, 향상된 난연성, 고온 안정성 및 고전압 안정성을 가질 수 있다.
예시적인 실시예들에 따른 리튬 이차 전지는 상기 전해액을 포함하여, 고온 및 고전압에서도 우수한 작동 안정성 및 수명 특성을 가질 수 있다.

본 발명의 예시적인 실시예들에 따르면, 하기 화학식 1로 표시되는 화합물을 포함하는 리튬 이차 전지용 유기 용매가 제공된다. 또한, 상기 유기 용매를 포함하는 리튬 이차 전지용 전해액 및 상기 전해액을 포함하는 리튬 이차 전지가 제공된다.

리튬 이차 전지용 전해액
본 발명의 예시적인 실시예들에 따른 리튬 이차 전지용 전해액은 리튬염 및 유기 용매를 포함할 수 있다. 상기 유기 용매는 하기 화학식 1로 표시되는 화합물을 포함할 수 있다.

화학식 1에서, R1은 C3-C7의 고리형 에터기이고, R2는 불소를 함유하는 C1-C10의 알킬기 또는 불소를 함유하는 C2-C10의 알케닐기이며, L1 및 L2는 독립적으로 C1-C6의 알킬렌기 또는 C2-C6의 알케닐렌기일 수 있다.
상기 전해액은 상기 화학식 1의 화합물을 포함하여, 향상된 난연성을 가질 수 있다. 또한, 고온(예를 들면, 45℃ 이상) 및 고전압(예를 들면, 4.3V 이상)에서 향상된 화학적 안정성을 가질 수 있다.
한편, 종래의 리튬 이차 전지용 전해액은 고온 및 고전압 작동 조건에서 쉽게 분해되어 가스 및 부산물을 형성시킬 수 있다. 또한, 전해액의 분해와 함께 양극 활물질로부터 금속 이온들(예를 들면, Ni, Co, Mn, 등)이 용출되며, 용출된 금속 이온들은 음극에 전착될 수 있다. 이에 따라, 리튬 이차 전지의 내부 저항이 상승하고, 수명 특성이 저하될 수 있다.
일 실시예에 있어서, R1은 하기 화학식 2-1로 표시될 수 있다. 이 경우, 상술한 효과가 보다 향상될 수 있다.

일부 실시예들에서, 상기 카보네이트계 용매는 프로필렌 카보네이트를 포함할 수 있다. 예를 들면, 프로필렌 카보네이트는 리튬 이차 전지 작동시 다른 카보네이트계 용매보다 쉽게 분해되는 특성이 있다. 그러나, 상기 화학식 1의 화합물과 함께 사용되면 프로필렌 카보네이트의 분해가 억제될 수 있다.
일 실시예에 있어서, 상기 화학식 1로 표시되는 화합물은 상기 유기 용매 총 부피 중 0.1 내지 90부피%, 바람직하게는 1 내지 90부피%로 포함될 수 있다.
일부 실시예들에서, 상기 화학식 1로 표시되는 화합물은 상기 유기 용매 총 부피 중 20 내지 90부피%, 30 내지 90부피%, 바람직하게는 40 내지 85부피%, 보다 바람직하게는 50 내지 80부피%로 포함될 수 있다.
일부 실시예들에서, 상기 화학식 1로 표시되는 화합물은 다른 유기 용매를 보완하는 첨가제로서 상기 유기 용매에 포함될 수도 있다. 이 경우, 상기 화학식 1로 표시되는 화합물은 상기 유기 용매 총 부피 중 0.1 이상 및 20부피% 미만, 바람직하게는 0.5 내지 15부피%, 보다 바람직하게는 1 내지 10부피%으로 포함될 수 있다.

일 실시예에 있어서, 상기 전해액 중 상기 리튬염의 농도는 0.1 내지 2 M일 수 있다.
예를 들면, 상기 유기 용매는 상기 리튬염, 후술하는 첨가제에 대해 충분한 용해도를 가질 수 있다.
일 실시예에 있어서, 상기 전해액은 리튬 이차 전지의 성능을 보다 향상시킬 수 있는 첨가제를 더 포함할 수 있다.
상기 첨가제는 불소 함유 환형 카보네이트계 화합물, 불소 함유 포스페이트계 화합물, 이중 결합을 갖는 환형 카보네이트계 화합물, 설톤계 화합물, 보레이트계 화합물, 설페이트계 화합물 등을 포함할 수 있다.
일부 실시예들에서, 상기 첨가제의 함량은 상기 전해액 총 중량 중 0.1 내지 30중량%, 바람직하게는 0.5 내지 20중량%, 보다 바람직하게는 0.1 내지 10중량%일 수 있다.
상기 불소 함유 환형 카보네이트계 화합물은 화합물은 5-7각의 환형 구조를 가질 수 있다. 예를 들면, 상기 불소 함유 환형 카보네이트계 화합물은 플루오로에틸렌 카보네이트(FEC) 등을 포함할 수 있다.
예를 들면, 상기 불소 함유 환형 카보네이트계 화합물은 상기 전해액 총 중량에 대해 0.1 내지 10 중량%, 바람직하게는 0.5 내지 5중량%, 보다 바람직하게는 1 내지 3중량% 포함될 수 있다.

리튬 이차 전지
도 1 및 도 2는 각각 예시적인 실시예들에 따른 리튬 이차 전지를 나타내는 개략적인 평면 투시도 및 단면도이다.
도 2를 참조하면, 리튬 이차 전지는 양극(100) 및 양극(100)과 대향하는 음극(130)을 포함할 수 있다.
양극(100)은 양극 집전체(105) 및 양극 집전체(105) 상에 형성된 양극 활물질층(110)을 포함할 수 있다.
양극 활물질층(110)은 양극 활물질, 필요에 따라, 양극 바인더 및 도전재를 포함할 수 있다.
예를 들면, 양극 집전체(105)는 스테인레스강, 니켈, 알루미늄, 티탄, 구리 등을 포함할 수 있다.
예를 들면, 상기 양극 활물질은 리튬 이온의 가역적인 삽입 및 탈리가 가능한 리튬 금속 산화물을 포함할 수 있다.

일부 실시예들에서, 0.1≤a≤0.9, 0.2≤a≤0.8 또는 0.3≤a≤0.7일 수 있다.
예를 들면, 상기 과잉 리튬 금속 산화물을 양극 활물질로서 사용한 리튬 이차 전지는 4.3V 이상의 고전압 범위에서 작동시 더욱 향상된 용량을 나타낼 수 있다. 본 발명의 예시적인 실시예들에 따른 리튬 이차 전지용 전해액은 4.3 V 이상의 고전압에서도 화학적 안정성을 가져 상기 리튬 과잉 금속 산화물 입자와 함께 사용될 수 있다. 이에 따라, 용량이 더욱 향상된 리튬 이차 전지를 제공할 수 있다.
예를 들면, 상기 바인더는 상기 양극 활물질들 간, 또한, 상기 양극 활물질 및 양극 집전체(110) 간 서로 잘 부착시키는 역할을 할 수 있다. 예를 들면, 상기 바인더는 폴리비닐리덴플로라이드 (PVDF), 폴리비닐알코올, 카르복시메틸셀룰로우즈(CMC), 전분, 히드록시프로필 셀룰로우즈, 재생 셀룰로우즈, 폴리비닐피롤리돈, 테트라플루오로에틸렌, 폴리에틸렌, 폴리프로필렌, 에틸렌-프로필렌-디엔 폴리머(EPDM), 술폰화-EPDM, 스티렌-부타디엔 고무, 불소 고무, 이들의 다양한 공중합체 등을 포함할 수 있다.
예를 들면, 상기 도전재는 양극 활물질층(110)에 도전성을 부여하기 위해 사용될 수 있다. 예를 들면, 상기 도전재는 흑연; 카본 블랙, 아세틸렌 블랙, 케첸 블랙, 채널 블랙, 퍼네이스 블랙, 램프 블랙, 서머 블랙, 탄소 섬유 등의 탄소계 물질; 구리, 니켈, 알루미늄, 은 등의 금속 분말 또는 금속 섬유; 산화 아연, 티탄산 칼륨 등의 도전성 위스키; 산화 티탄 등의 도전성 금속산화물; 폴리페닐렌 유도체 등의 전도성 고분자 등을 포함할 수 있다.
음극(130)은 음극 집전체(125) 및 음극 집전체(125) 상의 음극 활물질층(120)을 포함할 수 있다.
음극 활물질층(120)은 음극 활물질, 필요에 따라, 음극 바인더 및 도전재를 포함할 수 있다.
예를 들면, 음극 집전체(125)는 금, 스테인레스강, 니켈, 알루미늄, 티탄, 구리 등을 포함할 수 있다.
예를 들면, 상기 음극 활물질은 리튬 이온을 흡장 및 탈리할 수 있는 물질일 수 있다. 예를 들면, 상기 음극 활물질은 탄소계 물질, 리튬 금속, 리튬 금속의 합금, 실리콘계 물질, 전이금속 산화물 등을 포함할 수 있다.
상기 탄소계 물질은 결정질 탄소, 비정질 탄소 등을 포함할 수 있다. 예를 들면, 상기 결정질 탄소는 무정형, 판상, 린편상(flake), 구형 또는 섬유형의 천연 흑연 또는 인조 흑연과 같은 흑연을 포함할 수 있다. 또한, 상기 비정질 탄소는 소프트 카본(soft carbon), 하드 카본(hard carbon), 메조페이스 피치 탄화물, 소성된 코크스 등을 포함할 수 있다.
상기 리튬 금속의 합금으로는 리튬과 Na, K, Rb, Cs, Fr, Be, Mg, Ca, Sr, Si, Sb, Pb, In, Zn, Ba, Ra, Ge, Al 및 Sn으로 이루어진 군에서 선택되는 금속의 합금이 사용될 수 있다.
상기 실리콘계 물질은 Si, SiOx(0<x<2), 흑연과 Si의 조합, 흑연 입자 표면에 Si이 코팅된 물질, 흑연 입자 표면에 Si 및 카본이 코팅된 물질 등을 포함할 수 있다.
상기 전이 금속 산화물은 바나듐 산화물, 리튬 바나듐 산화물, 티타늄 산화물, 리튬 티타늄 산화물 등을 포함할 수 있다.
상기 음극 바인더 및 도전재는 상술한 양극 바인더 및 도전재와 실질적으로 동일하거나 유사한 물질일 수 있다. 예를 들면, 상기 음극 바인더는 스티렌-부타디엔 러버(SBR) 등의 수계 바인더일 수 있다. 또한, 예를 들면, 상기 음극 바인더는 카르복시메틸 셀룰로오스(CMC)와 같은 증점제와 함께 사용될 수 있다.
양극(100) 및 음극(130) 사이에 분리막(140)이 개재될 수 있다.
예를 들면, 분리막(140)으로서 공지된 리튬 이차 전지의 분리막 소재들이 사용될 수 있다. 예를 들면, 분리막(140)은 폴리에틸렌(PE), 폴리프로필렌(PP), 폴리비닐리덴 플루오라이드 등을 포함할 수 있다. 또는, 분리막(140)은 PE, PP 등을 적층한 2층 이상의 적층막을 포함할 수 있다. 예를 들면, 상기 적층막은 PE/PP, PE/PP/PE, PP/PE/PP 등을 포함할 수 있다.
양극(100), 음극(130) 및 분리막(140)을 포함하여 전극 셀이 형성될 수 있다. 복수의 전극 셀들이 적층되어 전극 조립체(150)가 형성될 수 있다(단, 도 2에는 편의상 하나의 전극 셀을 도시하였음).
분리막(140)의 권취(winding), 적층(lamination) 등에 의해 전극 조립체(150)가 형성될 수 있다.
예시적인 실시예들에 따른 리튬 이차 전지는 양극(100)과 연결되며, 케이스(160)의 외부로 돌출되는 양극 리드(107); 및 음극(130)과 연결되며, 케이스(160)의 외부로 돌출되는 음극 리드(127)를 포함할 수 있다.
양극(100)과 양극 리드(107)는 전기적으로 연결되어 있을 수 있다. 마찬가지로, 음극(130)과 음극 리드(127)은 전기적으로 연결되어 있을 수 있다.
양극 리드(107)는 양극 집전체(105)와 전기적으로 연결될 수 있다. 또한, 음극 리드(130)는 음극 집전체(125)와 전기적으로 연결될 수 있다.
양극 집전체(105)는 일측에 돌출부(양극 탭, 106)를 포함할 수 있다. 양극 탭 (106)상에는 양극 활물질층(110)이 형성되어 있지 않을 수 있다. 양극 탭(106)은 양극 집전체(105)와 일체이거나, 용접 등에 의해 연결되어 있을 수 있다. 양극 탭(106)을 통해 양극 집전체(105) 및 양극 리드(107)가 전기적으로 연결되어 있을 수 있다.
음극 집전체(125)는 일측에 돌출부(음극 탭, 126)를 포함할 수 있다. 상기 음극 탭 상에는 음극 활물질층(120)이 형성되어 있지 않을 수 있다. 음극 탭(126)은 음극 집전체(125)와 일체이거나, 용접 등에 의해 연결되어 있을 수 있다. 음극 탭(126)을 통해 음극 집전체(125) 및 음극 리드(127)가 전기적으로 연결되어 있을 수 있다.
예를 들면, 전극 조립체(150) 및 본 발명의 예시적인 실시예들에 따른 리튬 이차 전지용 전해액이 케이스(160) 내에 수용되어 리튬 이차 전지를 형성할 수 있다.
예를 들면, 상기 리튬 이차 전지는 원통형, 각형, 파우치(pouch)형 또는 코인(coin)형 등일 수 있다.
이하 본 발명의 바람직한 실시예 및 비교예를 기재한다. 그러나 하기 실시예는 본 발명의 바람직한 일 실시예일뿐 본 발명이 하기 실시예에 한정되는 것은 아니다.
제조예 1: 화합물 A-25의 합성
<General procedure>
General procedure Step 1:
2-((tetrahydrofuran-2-yl)methoxy)acetic acid의 합성
반응 용기에 Tetrahydrofurfuryl alcohol (20 g, 196 mmol) 및 건조된 DMF(300 mL)를 넣고 약 0~5℃로 냉각하였다. 상기 반응 용기에 NaH (60% dispersion in mineral oil, 15.68 g, 392 mmol)을 넣었다.
상기 반응 용기 내 물질을 1시간 교반하고 반응 용기에 2-bromoacetc acid (화합물 C; 29.96 g, 215.6 mmol)를 적가하였다. 상기 반응 용기 내 물질을 상온으로 천천히 상승시키며 12시간 교반하며 반응을 진행시켰다.
반응 종결 후, 감압하여 반응 생성물에서 DMF를 제거하고, 메틸렌 클로라이드 300 ml에 녹인 후 증류수 200 ml와 혼합하였다. 혼합 용액을 1M HCl 수용액으로 중화하고 유기층을 분리하여 무수 마그네슘 설페이트로 건조하였다.
건조된 유기층을 감압 농축하고 컬럼 크로마토그래피로 정제하여 2-((tetrahydrofuran-2-yl)methoxy)acetic acid (22.4 g, 62 %)를 수득한다.

화합물 A-25의 합성
반응 용기에 2-((tetrahydrofuran-2-yl)methoxy)acetic acid (10 g, 62.4 mmol), 3,3,4,4,5,5,6,6,7,7,8,8,8-tridecafluorooctan-1-ol (화합물 D; 22.73 g, 62.4 mmol) 및 클로로포름 200 ml를 넣고, 약 0~5℃로 냉각하였다.
상기 반응 용기에 1-ethyl-3-(3-dimethylaminopropyl)carbodiimide hydrochloride (12.6 g, 65.52 mmol) 및 4-dimethylaminopyridine (6.1 g, 49.92 mmol)을 넣고 상온으로 상승시키면서 12시간 반응시켰다.
반응 종결 후, 반응 생성물을 1M HCl 수용액 및 증류수와 혼합하고, 유기층을 분리하여 무수 마그네슘설페이트로 건조하였다. 건조된 유기층을 감압 농축하고 컬럼 크로마토그래피로 정제하여 화합물 A-25 (19.9 g, 수득률 63%)를 수득하였다.
H-NMR 및 질량 분석을 이용하여 수득한 화합물이 목적하는 화합물 A-25임을 확인하였다.

실시예들 및 비교예들
1. 전해액의 제조
하기 표 1에 따라 혼합 유기 용매를 준비하였다.
상기 혼합 용매에 LiPF6를 투입하여, 1M의 LiPF6를 제조하였다.
상기 LiPF6 용액에 전해액 총 중량을 기준으로 1wt%의 FEC 및 1wt%의 LiPO2F2를 투입하여 전해액을 제조하였다.
2. 리튬 이차 전지의 제조
Li1.13Mn0.463Ni0.203Co0.203O2 (0.3Li2MnO3·0.7LiMn1/3Ni1/3Co1/3O2), PVDF 및 카본블랙을 94:3:3의 중량비로 NMP에 분산시켜 양극 슬러리를 제조하였다. 상기 양극 슬러리를 알루미늄 박막에 코팅하여 양극을 제조하였다.
흑연, PVDF 및 카본블랙을 96:3:1의 중량비로 물에 분산시켜 음극 슬러리를 제조하였다. 상기 음극 슬러리를 구리 박막에 코팅하여 음극을 제조하였다.
상기 양극 및 상기 음극 사이에 분리막(폴레에틸렌)을 개재하여 전극 조립체를 형성하였다. 상기 전극 조립체 및 상기 전해액으로 공지된 방법에 따라 코인 셀을 제조하였다.
실험예 1: DC-IR (direct current-internal resistance) 측정
실시예들 및 비교예들의 리튬 이차 전지를 1C CC/CV 충전(4.9V CUT-OFF)하여 50% 충전 상태(SOC 50)까지 충전하였다.
충전된 리튬 이차 전지를 0.1C, 1C, 3C로 각각 10초 동안 방전 및 보충전하여 DCIR 측정하였다.
실험예 2: 고온 저장 용량 유지율 측정
실시예들 및 비교예들의 리튬 이차 전지를 상온(25℃)에서 4.5V까지 1C로 충전하고, 2.75V까지 1C로 방전하여, 초기 방전 용량 A1을 측정하였다.
초기 방전 용량 A1을 측정한 후, 리튬 이차 전지를 4.5V까지 0.5C로 다시 충전하고, 고온(45℃)에서 1주 동안 방치하였다.
고온 방치 후, 리튬 이차 전지를 4.5V까지 1C 충전 및 2.75V까지 1C 방전하는 사이클을 2회 진행하여 2회째의 방전 용량 A2를 측정하였다.
하기 식에 따라 고온 저장 용량 유지율을 계산하였다.
고온 저장 용량 유지율(%) = A2/A1 × 100
실험예 3: 발화 억제 특성 평가
실시예들 및 비교예들의 전해액을 각각 유리 섬유(glass fiber)에 흡수시켜 시편을 제조하였다. 시편 제조시, 흡수된 전해액의 무게를 측정하였다.
토치를 이용하여 시편에 불을 붙이고, 토치를 제거한 시점부터 소화 시점까지의 시간을 측정하였다.
흡수된 전해액의 무게당 초 단위 자기소화시간(self-extinguishing time (SET), s/g)을 산출하였다.
동일한 테스트를 4회 반복하여 평균 SET 값을 얻었다.
평가 기준은 하기와 같다.
◎(불연성): SET 값이 6 s/g 미만
○(난연성): SET 값이 6 내지 20 s/g
×(가연성): SET 값이 20 s/g 초과

상기 표 1을 참조하면, 실시예들의 리튬 이차 전지는 비교예들의 리튬 이차 전지에 비해 낮은 DCIR 및 향상된 고온 안정성을 나타냈다.
실시예들의 전해액은 비교예들의 전해액에 비해 향상된 난연성을 나타냈다.
Claims (15)
- 청구항 1에 있어서, R2는 2개 내지 17개의 불소 원자를 함유하는, 리튬 이차 전지용 유기 용매.
- 청구항 1에 있어서, R2는 니트릴기 및 바이닐기 중 적어도 하나를 더 함유하는, 리튬 이차 전지용 유기 용매.
- 청구항 1에 있어서, L1 및 L2는 독립적으로 C1-C3의 알킬렌기인, 리튬 이차 전지용 유기 용매.
- 청구항 1에 있어서, L1은 메틸렌기인, 리튬 이차 전지용 유기 용매.
- 청구항 3에 있어서, m은 1이고, L1은 메틸렌기이며, L2는 메틸렌기 또는 에틸렌기인, 리튬 이차 전지용 유기 용매.
- 청구항 1에 있어서, 상기 화학식 1로 표시되는 화합물의 함량은 상기 유기 용매 총 부피 중 30 내지 90부피%인, 리튬 이차 전지용 유기 용매.
- 청구항 1에 있어서, 카보네이트계 용매를 더 포함하는, 리튬 이차 전지용 유기 용매.
- 리튬염; 및청구항 1의 유기 용매를 포함하는, 리튬 이차 전지용 전해액.
- 청구항 11에 있어서, 불소 함유 환형 카보네이트계 화합물, 불소 함유 포스페이트계 화합물, 이중 결합을 갖는 환형 카보네이트계 화합물, 설톤계 화합물, 보레이트계 화합물 및 환형 설페이트계 화합물 중 적어도 하나를 포함하는 첨가제를 더 포함하는, 리튬 이차 전지용 전해액.
- 청구항 12에 있어서, 상기 첨가제의 함량은 상기 전해액 총 중량 중 0.1 내지 30중량%인, 리튬 이차 전지용 전해액.
- 양극 및 음극을 포함하는 전극 조립체;청구항 11의 전해액; 및상기 전극 조립체 및 상기 전해액을 수용하는 케이스를 포함하는, 리튬 이차 전지.
- 청구항 14에 있어서, 상기 양극은 리튬 금속 산화물 입자를 포함하는 양극 활물질을 포함하고, 상기 리튬 금속 산화물 입자 중 리튬 및 산소를 제외한 전체 원소들에 대한 리튬의 몰비는 1.1보다 큰, 리튬 이차 전지.
