- the acid generator has a molecular weight of 600 or less, The mass ratio of the content of the acid generator to the content of the color former is 1.01 to 40.00.
- a color former having at least one selected from the group consisting of a lactone structure, a lactam structure, a sultone structure, a sultine structure and their ring-opened structures, and an azobenzene structure is also referred to as a "specific color former”.
- An acid generator with a molecular weight of 600 or less is also referred to as a "specific acid generator”.
- a feature of the present invention is, for example, that it contains a specific color former and a specific acid generator, and that the mass ratio of the content of the specific acid generator to the content of the specific color former is within a predetermined range.
- generally used color formers have generally been used in a large amount in order to improve the color development property against ultraviolet rays having a wavelength of 254 nm and a wavelength of 365 nm.
- the coloring agent itself absorbs a large amount of light with a wavelength of 222 nm.
- the present inventors have made extensive studies and found that the composition contains a specific color former and a specific acid generator, and the mass ratio of the content of the specific acid generator to the content of the specific color former is 1.01 to 40.00.
- the present inventors presume as follows.
- the main color-developing mechanism of the present invention is that the specific acid generator absorbs ultraviolet rays and is activated to generate an acid, and the color-developing agent reacts with the generated acid or the like to form a color-developing agent as described later. It is thought that the structure of the is changed and its color is changed. More specifically, the specific coloring agent used in the present invention has a predetermined structure as described later, and the structure can be reversibly changed.
- the following specific color coupler X having a lactone structure can be a substantially colorless closed-ring form and a colored open-ring form, as shown in the scheme below.
- the lactone structure is opened by the action of an acid (H + ) to form a ring-opened product, and by deacidification, the ring is closed to form a closed-ring product.
- an acid supplied to such a closed-ring form of the specific color former X
- the reaction from the closed-ring form to the open-ring form proceeds, and the reaction from the open-ring form to the closed-ring form also proceeds. That is, the reaction from the closed-ring isomer to the open-ring isomer and the reaction from the open-ring isomer to the closed-ring isomer proceed reversibly.
- the mass ratio of the content of the specific acid generator to the content of the specific color former is 1.01 or more, and the amount of acid capable of acting with the specific color former X is large. Your body reacts more easily. In other words, the equilibrium between the closed-ring to open-ring reaction and the open-ring to closed-ring reaction is more biased toward the closed-ring to open-ring reaction. For this reason, it is considered that the amount of the specific color former X is relatively small, and the generation of the colored ring-opened product is likely to be promoted, thereby improving the color developability.
- the amount of the specific color former X can be relatively reduced, the absorption of light by the specific color former X itself can be suppressed, and as a result, acid generation from the specific acid generator proceeds efficiently, It is thought that it leads to the improvement of coloring property. If the mass ratio disclosed in the prior art is less than 1.01, the bias toward the reaction from the closed-ring form to the open-ring form is insufficient, resulting in poor color developability. Further, when the above mass ratio is 40.0 or less, it is presumed that the amount of the specific coloring agent is relatively not too small and that the coloring density is excellent.
- the specific color former Y having the following sultone structure can be an open-ring form exhibiting blue and a closed-ring form exhibiting yellow, as shown in the scheme below. More specifically, the specific color former Y is closed by the action of an acid (H + ) to form a closed ring form, and is opened by deacidification to form an open ring form.
- an acid supplied to such a ring-opened form of the specific color former Y, the reaction from the ring-opened form to the ring-closed form proceeds, and the reaction from the ring-closed form to the ring-opened form also proceeds.
- the mass ratio of the content of the specific acid generator to the content of the specific color former is 1.01 or more, and the amount of acid capable of acting with the specific color former Y is large. Your body reacts more easily. In other words, the equilibrium between the reaction of open-ring to closed-ring and the reaction of closed-ring to open-ring is more biased towards the reaction of open-ring to closed-ring. As a result, excellent color developability is achieved.
- the following specific color coupler Z having an azobenzene structure can be an azo compound exhibiting yellow and a hydrazone compound exhibiting orange to pink color, as shown in the scheme below.
- the specific color former Z becomes a hydrazone form by the action of acid (H + ), and becomes an azo form by deacidification.
- acid acid
- the reaction from the azo form to the hydrazone form proceeds, and the reaction from the hydrazone form to the azo form also proceeds. That is, the reaction from the azo form to the hydrazone form and the reaction from the hydrazone form to the azo form proceed reversibly.
- the mass ratio of the content of the specific acid generator to the content of the specific color former is 1.01 or more, and the amount of acid capable of acting with the specific color former Z is large. reaction to is more likely to proceed. In other words, the equilibrium between the reaction from the azo form to the hydrazone form and the reaction from the hydrazone form to the azo form is more biased towards the reaction from the azo form to the hydrazone form. As a result, excellent color developability is obtained.
- the effect of the present invention is more excellent.

装置:Nexera(島津製作所社製)
Capcell pak C18 UG-120
