Abstract

디스플레이 장치가 개시된다. 본 발명에 따른 디스플레이 장치는 디스플레이, 사용자와 디스플레이 장치 사이의 거리를 감지하기 위한 센서, 디스플레이 장치를 기준으로 거리에 따라 구분되는 복수의 영역 중 사용자가 제1 영역에 존재하는 경우, 센서로부터 감지 신호를 수신받는 서브 프로세서 및 센서 및 서브 프로세서가 활성화된 상태에서, 서브 프로세서가 센서로부터 감지 신호를 수신받으면 서브 프로세서에 의해 활성화되어 콘텐츠를 업데이트하고, 사용자와 디스플레이 장치 사이의 거리에 기초하여 사용자가 복수의 영역 중 제2 영역에 존재하는 것으로 판단되면, 비활성화 상태에 있는 디스플레이를 활성화하여 업데이트된 콘텐츠를 디스플레이하도록 디스플레이를 제어하는 프로세서를 포함한다.
