Definitions
- the present invention relates to a dust stop device that is provided in a closed kneader and prevents the kneaded material kneaded inside the closed kneader from leaking out of the closed kneader.
- a batch type closed kneader for kneading materials to be kneaded such as rubber and plastic
- a housing surrounding a kneading chamber and a pair of rotors provided inside the housing and rotatably supported by the housing
- the pair of rotors knead a material to be kneaded such as rubber or plastic press-fitted into the kneading chamber by rotating.
- the kneaded material in a desired kneaded state is discharged to the outside of the housing.
- the housing provided with the kneading chamber (hollow part) is supported by frame members arranged on both sides in the axial direction.
- the pair of rotors includes a main body portion that is accommodated in the kneading chamber and kneads the material to be kneaded, and a pair of shaft portions that protrude in the axial direction from both end surfaces of the main body portion, and the pair of shafts The portion further protrudes beyond the frame member.
- a predetermined gap is provided between the end surface of the main body and the frame member.
- the kneading chamber communicates with the outside through the gap. Therefore, the kneaded material in the kneading chamber may leak out through the gap.
- the conventional closed kneader is further provided with a dust stop device for preventing the kneaded material in the kneading chamber from leaking outside.
- the dust stop device includes a member in surface contact with each of the main body of the rotor and the frame member so as to seal the kneading chamber. Therefore, the contact surface which contacts the said main-body part among the said members slides with respect to the said main-body part with rotation of the main-body part of the said rotor. During this sliding, if the frictional force between the contact surface of the member and the contact surface of the main body portion of the rotor is large, the dust stop device may be remarkably heated or worn. Therefore, it is necessary to supply lubricating oil that reduces the frictional force between the contact surfaces.
- Patent Document 1 Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 61-29467 discloses an annular end plate that forms a flange end surface of a rotor and takes in a rotor shaft, and an outer peripheral surface of the rotor shaft and an inner peripheral surface of the end plate.
- a pressure-bonding type dust stop assembly for a kneader is disclosed, comprising an annular dust stop ring interposed and pressed against the end face of the flange via a yoke and prevented from rotating.
- the dust stop ring is divided into a first ring and a second ring, and is assembled so that the divided end faces can be joined and separated.
- Each of the first ring and the second ring has an outer peripheral surface on which a conduction jacket that allows conduction in the circumferential direction of the cooling water is formed.
- the dust stop assembly includes a communication pipe that connects the conduction jackets of the first and second rings, a cooling water supply pipe that is connected to one of the conduction jackets, and a cooling water discharge pipe that is connected to the other.
- Each of the first and second rings is formed with an axial lubricating hole for supplying lubricating oil to a portion where the first and second rings are in sliding contact with the flange end surface.
- Patent document 2 Japanese Patent Publication No. 2-332014 discloses an apparatus that seals the rotor shaft of a kneader made of synthetic resin, rubber or the like. In the kneader, a narrow gap is maintained between the end plate and the rotor shaft.
- the apparatus includes a seal ring that is movable along the rotor shaft, an O-ring that is fitted between the seal ring and the rotor shaft, and a spring that presses the seal ring against the end plate.
- the seal ring is made of a self-lubricating material.
- the dust stop devices disclosed in Patent Documents 1 and 2 each include an annular fixing ring provided on the housing side, and an annular rotating ring that rotates together with the main body of the rotor.
- the fixed ring and the rotating ring have contact surfaces that are in surface contact with each other so as to seal the kneading chamber, and the contact surfaces (seal surfaces) slide with each other when the rotor rotates.
- lubricating oil is supplied between the contact surfaces through a lubricating oil supply part (supply port) provided in the fixed ring.
- the rotation of the rotor may hinder the good supply of the lubricating oil to the entire contact surface.
- the centrifugal force generated by the rotation of the rotor during kneading increases the amount of lubricating oil that moves radially outward on the contact surface of the rotating ring to reduce the amount of lubricating oil supplied radially inward. End up. This may accelerate wear and seizure of both rings and cause damage to the dust stop device.
- the present invention is a dust-stop device for a closed-type kneader, comprising a fixed ring and a rotating ring having contact surfaces that contact each other, and an apparatus capable of satisfactorily supplying lubricating oil to the contact surfaces.
- the purpose is to provide.
- a pair of rotors that are arranged adjacent to each other with a predetermined gap so that the axes are parallel to each other and can rotate in opposite directions, and the pair of rotors is housed And a support member that rotatably supports both axial ends of the pair of rotors, and is provided in a batch-type hermetic kneader, and is interposed between the rotor and the support member.
- the fixing ring and the rotating ring have contact surfaces that face each other while facing each other.
- the fixing ring has a lubricating oil supply section that supplies lubricating oil to the contact surfaces of the fixing ring and the rotating ring.
- the lubricating oil supply unit has a through hole that communicates the contact surface of the fixing ring with the surface on the opposite side. Of the through hole, at least a portion including the opening in the contact surface is a long hole extending along the rotational circumferential direction of the rotating ring.
- the longitudinal direction of the elongated hole coincides with the rotational tangent direction that is the direction of the rotational tangent of the rotating ring at an intermediate position in the longitudinal direction of the elongated hole, or the longitudinal direction of the elongated hole progresses in the rotational direction of the rotating ring.
- the long hole is inclined with respect to the rotational tangential direction so as to be displaced inward in the rotational radial direction of the rotating ring.
