レンズユニット30は、一例として、レンズ群32と、間隔環34、36、38と、シール材42と、鏡筒44とを有している。レンズ群32、間隔環34、36、38及びシール材42は、鏡筒44の内側に収容されている。
レンズ群32は、一例として、+Z側から順に配置された、第1レンズ52と、第2レンズ56と、第3レンズ57と、第4レンズ58と、第5レンズ59とを有している。なお、第1レンズ52は、レンズの一例である。
第1円形部53は、Z方向に見た直径が第1直径D1となっている。第1円形部53における第1直径D1となる部位は、Z方向に見て円形の側面53Aを有している。側面53AにおけるZ方向の-Z側の端部は、面取りされている。また、第1円形部53は、-Z側の端面であり光が出射する出射面53Bを有している。
第2円形部54は、Z方向に見た直径が第2直径D2となっている。第2直径D2は、第1直径D1よりも大きい。第2円形部54における第2直径D2となる部位は、Z方向に見て円形の側面54Aを有している。また、第2円形部54は、側面54Aよりも+Z側の周縁に形成され後述する熱カシメによって鏡筒44により押え付けられる被押付面54Bを有している。さらに、第2円形部54は、+Z側の端面であり光が入射する入射面54Cを有している。なお、Z方向における側面54Aの-Z側の端部は、面取りされている。
間隔環34は、Z方向に見て環状の部材であり、Z方向における+Z側の端面が第1レンズ52の第1円形部53と接触し、-Z側の端面が第2レンズ56と接触している。つまり、間隔環34は、第1レンズ52と第2レンズ56とのZ方向の間隔を決めている。
図2に示すシール材42は、一例として、ゴム製でありZ方向に見て環状に形成されたOリング部材とされている。また、シール材42は、自由状態で、内径が第1レンズ52の第1直径D1よりも小さくなっているため、第1レンズ52の第1円形部53に取り付けられた場合に、シール材42の内周面が第1円形部53の外周面である側面53Aと接触する。
図1に示す鏡筒44は、筒状に形成されており、Z方向を軸方向として配置されている。具体的には、鏡筒44は、Z方向に開口した筒部44Aと、筒部44Aの-Z側を覆う底壁部44Bとを有している。筒部44Aの+Z側の端部には、図示しない治具による熱カシメ後の状態において、Z方向に見て円形の開口部44Cが形成されている。底壁部44Bには、Z方向に貫通され開口部44Cよりも内径が小さい開口部44Dが形成されている。また、鏡筒44における開口部44Cから開口部44Dまでの間には、レンズ群32、間隔環34、36、38及びシール材42を収容する空間である収容部46が形成されている。
図3Bに示す第1内壁部47は、Z方向に見て円形とされており、Z方向に延びる壁部である。なお、第1内壁部47の内径をD3とする。
図3Aに示す第2内壁部48は、一例として、Z方向に見て、3つの円弧部48Aと3つの接触部48Bとが第1レンズ52(図2参照)の周方向に交互に並んだ形状とされている。
図1に示すレンズユニット30の組み立てでは、鏡筒44の収容部46内に、底壁部44B側から順に、第5レンズ59、間隔環38、第4レンズ58、第3レンズ57、間隔環36、第2レンズ56、間隔環34が嵌合され、Z方向に重ねられる。続いて、第1円形部53の外周面にシール材42が取り付けられた状態で、第1レンズ52が第1円形部53側から第1収容部46A内に挿入される。

Claims (13)
- 光の光軸方向に見て第1直径を有する第1円形部と、前記光軸方向に見て前記第1直径よりも大きい第2直径を有する第2円形部とが、前記光軸方向に並んだレンズと、
前記光軸方向に見て環状に形成され、内周面が前記第1円形部の外周面と接触するシール材と、
前記光軸方向に見て円形とされ前記第1円形部と共に前記シール材を挟む第1内壁部と、前記第2円形部の外周面と接触する接触部が前記レンズの周方向に間隔をあけて3箇所以上形成された第2内壁部と、を備えた鏡筒と、
を有するレンズユニット。 - 前記第2内壁部は、前記光軸方向に見て多角形状に形成され、
前記接触部が前記多角形状の辺となる平面である請求項1に記載のレンズユニット。 - 前記第2内壁部には、周方向に隣り合う前記平面を繋ぐ曲面が形成されている請求項2に記載のレンズユニット。
- 前記接触部には、前記光軸方向に見て前記鏡筒の径方向外側に窪み前記第2円形部と線接触する曲面が形成されている請求項1に記載のレンズユニット。
- 前記光軸方向において前記第2円形部が前記第1円形部よりも物体側に配置されている請求項1から4のいずれか1項に記載のレンズユニット。
- 前記光軸方向における前記第2内壁部に対する物体側には、物体側が像面側よりも光軸から遠くなる傾斜とされた傾斜面が形成されている請求項5に記載のレンズユニット。
- 前記第1内壁部は、前記光軸方向に見て前記第2内壁部よりも光軸側に張り出されている請求項1から請求項6のいずれか1項に記載のレンズユニット。
- 前記第1内壁部には、前記シール材が接触しない部位でかつ前記レンズが嵌合する部位が形成され、
前記レンズには、前記第1内壁部と嵌合する第3円形部が形成されている請求項1から請求項7のいずれか1項に記載のレンズユニット。 - 前記第3円形部は、前記光軸方向における前記第1円形部と前記第2円形部との間に配置されている請求項8に記載のレンズユニット。
- 前記光軸方向において前記第1円形部が前記第2円形部よりも物体側に配置されている請求項1から請求項4のいずれか1項に記載のレンズユニット。
- 前記レンズには、前記第1内壁部と嵌合する第3円形部が形成されている請求項10に記載のレンズユニット。
- 前記第3円形部は、前記光軸方向における前記第1円形部と前記第2円形部との間に配置されている請求項11に記載のレンズユニット。
- 請求項1から請求項12のいずれか1項に記載のレンズユニットであって、車載用又は監視用のレンズユニット。
