Abstract
Description
前記ウレタンプレポリマーを乳化剤の存在下に水に乳化分散させる工程と、
前記乳化分散させたウレタンプレポリマーを、1級アミノ基及び2級アミノ基からなる群から選択される少なくとも1種のアミノ基を1分子中に2個以上含有するポリアミン化合物により鎖伸長させる工程と、
を含む方法である。
前記本発明の製造方法により水分散型ポリカーボネート系ポリウレタン樹脂組成物を製造する工程と、
前記水分散型ポリカーボネート系ポリウレタン樹脂組成物を用いて、繊維基材にポリカーボネート系ポリウレタン樹脂を付着させる工程と、
を含む方法である。
本発明の水分散型ポリカーボネート系ポリウレタン樹脂組成物は、1,10-デカンジオールに由来する構造単位を含有するポリカーボネートジオール及び官能基としてヒドロキシル基のみを含有する分子量400以下の多価アルコールを含むポリオールと有機ポリイソシアネートとの反応生成物である末端にイソシアネート基を有するウレタンプレポリマーを、1級アミノ基及び2級アミノ基からなる群から選択される少なくとも1種のアミノ基を1分子中に2個以上含有するポリアミン化合物により鎖伸長したものである。
本発明に用いられるポリオールは、1,10-デカンジオールに由来する構造単位を含有するポリカーボネートジオール(以下、「デカンジオール由来ポリカーボネートジオール」という。)及び官能基としてヒドロキシル基のみを含有する分子量400以下の多価アルコールを含むものである。
本発明においては、有機ポリイソシアネートとして、従来より一般に用いられている脂肪族、脂環族、芳香族の有機ポリイソシアネートを使用することができる。前記脂肪族有機ポリイソシアネートとしては、テトラメチレンジイソシアネート、ヘキサメチレンジイソシアネート、ドデカメチレンジイソシアネート、トリメチルヘキサメチレンジイソシアネート、リジンジイソシアネート等の脂肪族ジイソシアネート化合物が挙げられる。前記脂環族有機ポリイソシアネートとしては、イソホロンジイソシアネート、水添キシリレンジイソシアネート、4,4’-ジシクロヘキシルメタンジイソシアネート、3,3’-ジメチル-4,4’-ジシクロヘキシルメタンジイソシアネート、ノルボルナンジイソシアネート等の脂環族ジイソシアネート化合物が挙げられる。前記芳香族有機ポリイソシアネートとしては、m-フェニレンジイソシアネート、p-フェニレンジイソシアネート、2,4-トリレンジイソシアネート、2,6-トリレンジイソシアネート、4,4’-ジフェニルメタンジイソシアネート、2,4’-ジフェニルメタンジイソシアネート、3,3’-ジメチル-4,4’-ビフェニレンジイソシアネート、3,3’-ジクロロ-4,4’-ビフェニレンジイソシアネート、1,5-ナフタレンジイソシアネート、トリジンジイソシアネート、テトラメチレンキシリレンジイソシアネート、キシリレンジイソシアネート等の芳香族ジイソシアネート化合物が挙げられる。このような有機ポリイソシアネートは、1種を単独で使用しても2種以上を併用してもよい。このような有機ポリイソシアネートのうち、得られるポリカーボネート系ポリウレタン樹脂の物性面やコスト面から、ヘキサメチレンジイソシアネート、イソホロンジイソシアネート、4,4’-ジシクロヘキシルメタンジイソシアネートが好ましい。
本発明に用いられる末端にイソシアネート基を有するウレタンプレポリマー(以下、「末端イソシアネート基含有ウレタンプレポリマー」という。)は、前記ポリオールと前記有機ポリイソシアネートとを反応させることによって得られるもの(反応生成物)である。
本発明においては、このような末端イソシアネート基含有ウレタンプレポリマーを水に乳化分散させる。このとき、乳化剤として、従来慣用の多くの界面活性剤を用いることが可能である。このような界面活性剤としては、炭素数8~24のアルコール類、炭素数8~24のアルケノール類、多環フェノール類、炭素数8~44のアミン類、炭素数8~44のアミド類、炭素数8~24の脂肪酸類、多価アルコール脂肪酸エステル類、油脂類及びポリプロピレングリコールの、アルキレンオキサイド付加物等の非イオン界面活性剤(非イオン界面活性剤中に2種以上のアルキレンオキサイドが付加している場合、ブロック付加であってもランダム付加であってもよい。);アルコール類、アルケノール類及び前記非イオン界面活性剤のような各種アルキレンオキサイド付加物の、アニオン化物等のアニオン界面活性剤;炭素数8~24のモノアルキルトリメチルアンモニウム塩、炭素数8~24のジアルキルジメチルアンモニウム塩、炭素数8~24のモノアルキルアミン酢酸塩、炭素数8~24のジアルキルアミン酢酸塩、炭素数8~24のアルキルイミダゾリン4級塩等のカチオン界面活性剤;等が挙げられる。これらの界面活性剤は、1種を単独で使用しても2種以上を併用してもよい。
本発明においては、このように水に乳化分散させた前記末端イソシアネート基含有ウレタンプレポリマーを、1級アミノ基及び2級アミノ基からなる群から選択される少なくとも1種のアミノ基を1分子中に2個以上含有するポリアミン化合物を用いて鎖伸長させる。このようなポリアミン化合物(鎖伸長剤)としては、エチレンジアミン、テトラメチレンジアミン、ヘキサメチレンジアミン、ジエチレントリアミン、トリエチレンテトラミン、ヒドラジン、ピペラジン、ジアミノジフェニルメタン、トリレンジアミン、キシリレンジアミン、イソホロンジアミン、ノルボランジアミン等が挙げられる。ポリアミン化合物の使用量としては、得られる繊維製品の物性と黄変の観点から、末端イソシアネート基含有ウレタンプレポリマーの遊離イソシアネート基に対して0.8~1.2当量のアミノ基を含む量が好ましい。
本発明の水分散型ポリカーボネート系ポリウレタン樹脂組成物には、本発明の効果を損なわない範囲において、造膜助剤、レベリング剤、浸透剤、消泡剤、溶剤、顔料、酸化防止剤、紫外線吸収剤、耐光安定化剤、加水分解防止剤、ウレタン化触媒、可塑剤、可使時間延長剤等の各種添加剤を配合してもよい。このような添加剤は1種を単独で使用しても2種以上を併用してもよい。
本発明の繊維製品は、前記本発明の水分散型ポリカーボネート系ポリウレタン樹脂組成物を用いて、パディング法、浸漬法、コーティング法、スプレー法等の任意の方法により、編織物、不織布等の各種繊維基材に処理を施し、その後、乾燥することにより得られるものであり、前記繊維基材に、前記水分散型ポリカーボネート系ポリウレタン樹脂組成物に由来するポリカーボネート系ポリウレタン樹脂が付着したものである。
得られたウレタンプレポリマー0.3gを三角フラスコに採取し、0.1Nジブチルアミントルエン溶液10mlを配合し、溶解させた。次いで、ブロモフェノールブルー液を数滴加え、0.1N塩酸メタノール溶液で滴定し、下記式により遊離イソシアネート基含有量NCO%を求めた。
NCO%=(a-b)×0.42×f/x
a:0.1Nジブチルアミントルエン溶液10mlのみを滴定した場合の0.1N塩酸メタノール液の滴定量。
b:反応中の組成物を滴定した場合の0.1N塩酸メタノール液の滴定量。
f:0.1N塩酸メタノール液のファクター。
x:サンプリング量。
得られたポリウレタン樹脂組成物の樹脂分は、下記式により算出した。
樹脂量=全てのポリオールの仕込量+有機ポリイソシアネートの仕込量
+鎖伸長剤の仕込量
樹脂分(%)=樹脂量×100/(全仕込量-溶媒量)。
得られたポリウレタン樹脂組成物を20℃に加熱した後、BM型粘度計(東京計器(株)製「VISCOMETER」、ローター1号)を用いて回転数60rpmで測定した。
得られたポリウレタン樹脂組成物について、レーザー回折/散乱式粒度分布測定装置を用いて積算体積粒度分布を測定し、積算体積が50%となる粒径(メジアン径)を求め、これを平均粒子径d(50)とした。
・NL3010DB:数平均分子量3,000のデカンジオール由来ポリカーボネートジオール(三菱化学(株)製、商品名「BENEBiOLTM NL3010DB」)。
・NL2010DB:数平均分子量2,000のデカンジオール由来ポリカーボネートジオール(三菱化学(株)製、商品名「BENEBiOLTM NL3010DB」)。
・トリメチロールプロパン(分子量:134)。
・1,4-ブタンジオール(分子量:90)。
・ネオペンチルグリコール(分子量:104)。
・PR-3007:ポリオキシエチレンポリオキシプロピレンランダム共重合グリコール((株)ADEKA製、商品名「アデカポリエーテルPR-3007」、数平均分子量:3,000、オキシエチレン基含有量:70%)。
・PEG600:ポリエチレングリコール(分子量:600)。
・C-3090:1,6-ヘキサンジオールと3-メチル-1,5-ペンタンジオールに由来する構造単位を含有するポリカーボネートジオール((株)クラレ製、商品名「クラレポリオールC-3090」、数平均分子量:3,000)。
・T-6002:1,6-ヘキサンジオールに由来する構造単位を含有するポリカーボネートジオール(旭化成ケミカルズ(株)製、商品名「デュラノールT-6002」、数平均分子量:2,000)。
・2,2’-ジメチロールプロピオン酸(分子量:134)。
・ジシクロヘキシルメタンジイソシアネート。
・キシリレンジイソシアネート。
・ビスマストリス(2-エチルヘキサノエート)。
・ジブチルチンジラウレート。
・ピペラジンの20%水溶液。
・ジエチレントリアミンの20%水溶液。
・エチレンジアミンの20%水溶液。
・イソホロンジアミンの20%水溶液。
攪拌機、還流冷却管、温度計及び窒素吹込み管を備えた4ツ口フラスコに、前記デカンジオール由来ポリカーボネートジオールとして数平均分子量3,000のデカンジオール由来ポリカーボネートジオール(三菱化学(株)製、商品名「BENEBiOLTM NL3010DB」)76.3部、前記ヒドロキシル基のみ含有する分子量400以下の多価アルコールとしてトリメチロールプロパン0.9部及び1,4-ブタンジオール0.9部、前記ポリエーテル系ポリオールとしてポリオキシエチレンポリオキシプロピレンランダム共重合グリコール((株)ADEKA製、商品名「アデカポリエーテルPR-3007」、数平均分子量:3,000、オキシエチレン基含有量:70%)3.0部、溶媒としてメチルエチルケトン32.8部を量り取り、均一に混合した後、有機ポリイソシアネートとしてジシクロヘキシルメタンジイソシアネート17.3部、触媒としてビスマストリス(2-エチルヘキサノエート)0.03部を加え、80±5℃で90分間反応させ、ウレタンプレポリマー中の遊離イソシアネート基含有量が1.69%の末端イソシアネート基含有ウレタンプレポリマーのメチルエチルケトン溶液を得た。この溶液に反応抑制剤として燐酸二水素ナトリウム0.5部、乳化剤としてポリオキシエチレントリスチリルフェニルエーテル型非イオン界面活性剤4.4部を添加し、均一に混合した後、水150部を徐々に加えて攪拌し、前記末端イソシアネート基含有ウレタンプレポリマーを乳化分散させた。この乳化分散液に、1級アミノ基及び2級アミノ基からなる群から選択される少なくとも1種のアミノ基を1分子中に2個以上含有するポリアミン化合物(鎖伸長剤)としてピペラジンの20%水溶液6.2部(ピペラジンとして1.24部)及びジエチレントリアミンの20%水溶液1.9部(ジエチレントリアミンとして0.38部)を添加し、40±5℃で90分間攪拌した後、減圧下に40℃で脱溶剤(脱メチルエチルケトン)を行い、樹脂分:40.0%、粘度(20℃):40mPa・s、平均粒子径:0.3μmの安定な水分散型ポリカーボネート系ポリウレタン樹脂組成物を得た。

(日本化薬(株)製) 0.80%o.w.f.
染色助剤:ニッカサンソルトRM-3406
(日華化学(株)製) 0.5g/L
pH調整剤:90質量%酢酸 0.3cc/L
浴比:1/20
染色温度及び時間:130℃×60分間(昇温速度2℃/分)。
RC浴:水酸化ナトリウム 2g/L
ハイドロサルファイト 2g/L
浴比:1/20
RC温度及び時間:80℃×20分間(昇温速度2℃/分)。
前記デカンジオール由来ポリカーボネートジオール、前記ヒドロキシル基のみ含有する分子量400以下の多価アルコール、前記ポリエーテル系ポリオール、その他のポリカーボネートジオール、その他の官能基を含有する分子量400以下の多価アルコール、溶媒、有機ポリイソシアネート、触媒、反応抑制剤、乳化剤、水、鎖伸長剤の種類及び量を表1~表4に示すものに変更した以外は、実施例1と同様にしてポリウレタン樹脂組成物を調製し、さらに染色前繊維製品及び染色繊維製品を作製した。なお、比較例5においては、2,2’-ジメチロールプロピオン酸の中和のため、トリエチルアミン2.2部を使用した。
得られた繊維製品の風合いを、触感により下記の基準に従い評価した。その結果を表1~表4に示す。なお、各級の中間の評価の場合は、「1-2」のように記載した。
6級:極めて柔軟な風合い。
5級:柔軟な風合い。
4級:やや柔軟な風合い。
3級:やや粗硬な風合い。
2級:粗硬な風合い。
1級:極めて粗硬な風合い。
得られた繊維製品の反発感を、触感により下記の基準に従い評価した。その結果を表1~表4に示す。なお、各級の中間の評価の場合は、「1-2」のように記載した。
6級:極めて反発弾性に富む風合い。
5級:反発弾性に富む風合い。
4級:やや反発弾性に富む風合い。
3級:ややペーパーライクな風合い。
2級:ペーパーライクな風合い。
1級:極めてペーパーライクな風合い。
得られた繊維製品の断面を、走査型電子顕微鏡を用いて観察し、ポリウレタン樹脂の付着状態を下記の基準に従い評価した。その結果を表1~表4に示す。なお、各基準の中間の評価の場合は、「B-C」のように記載した。
A:樹脂の脱落、破断は見られない。
B:20%未満の樹脂に脱落、破断が見られる。
C:20%以上50%未満の樹脂に脱落、破断が見られる。
D:50%以上の樹脂に脱落、樹脂が見られる。
Claims (9)
- 1,10-デカンジオールに由来する構造単位を含有するポリカーボネートジオール及び官能基としてヒドロキシル基のみを含有する分子量400以下の多価アルコールを含むポリオールと有機ポリイソシアネートとの反応生成物である末端にイソシアネート基を有するウレタンプレポリマーを、1級アミノ基及び2級アミノ基からなる群から選択される少なくとも1種のアミノ基を1分子中に2個以上含有するポリアミン化合物により鎖伸長したものである水分散型ポリカーボネート系ポリウレタン樹脂組成物。
- 前記1,10-デカンジオールに由来する構造単位を含むポリカーボネートジオールの全ポリオール中に占める割合が50~99質量%である、請求項1に記載の水分散型ポリカーボネート系ポリウレタン樹脂組成物。
- 前記ポリオールがポリエーテル系ポリオールを更に含むものである、請求項1又は2に記載の水分散型ポリカーボネート系ポリウレタン樹脂組成物。
- オキシエチレン基の全ポリオール中に占める割合が0.5~10質量%である、請求項3に記載の水分散型ポリカーボネート系ポリウレタン樹脂組成物。
- 繊維基材と、該繊維基材に付着した、請求項1~4のいずれか一項に記載の水分散型ポリカーボネート系ポリウレタン樹脂組成物に由来するポリカーボネート系ポリウレタン樹脂とを含有する繊維製品。
- 1,10-デカンジオールに由来する構造単位を含有するポリカーボネートジオール及び官能基としてヒドロキシル基のみを含有する分子量400以下の多価アルコールを含むポリオールと有機ポリイソシアネートとを反応させて末端にイソシアネート基を有するウレタンプレポリマーを得る工程と、
前記ウレタンプレポリマーを乳化剤の存在下に水に乳化分散させる工程と、
前記乳化分散させたウレタンプレポリマーを、1級アミノ基及び2級アミノ基からなる群から選択される少なくとも1種のアミノ基を1分子中に2個以上含有するポリアミン化合物により鎖伸長させる工程と、
を含む水分散型ポリカーボネート系ポリウレタン樹脂組成物の製造方法。 - 前記ポリオールがポリエーテル系ポリオールを更に含むものである、請求項6に記載の水分散型ポリカーボネート系ポリウレタン樹脂組成物の製造方法。
- 前記ウレタンプレポリマーを乳化分散させる工程において、前記ウレタンプレポリマー100質量部に対して0.5~10質量部の乳化剤を使用する、請求項6又は7に記載の水分散型ポリカーボネート系ポリウレタン樹脂組成物の製造方法。
- 請求項6~8のうちのいずれか一項に記載の製造方法により水分散型ポリカーボネート系ポリウレタン樹脂組成物を製造する工程と、
前記水分散型ポリカーボネート系ポリウレタン樹脂組成物を用いて、繊維基材にポリカーボネート系ポリウレタン樹脂を付着させる工程と、
を含む繊維製品の製造方法。
