図1乃至図4は、本技術の撮像システムの外観を例示している。なお、図1は、撮像システムの右側面図である。図2は、撮像システムの正面図である。図3は、撮像システムの背面図である。図4は、撮像システムの平面図である。
に装着した状態でロック解除ボタン627を操作すれば、撮像装置30に対してグリップ本体部61の位置を所望の向きに調整することができる。
図5は撮像システムの機能ブロックを例示した図である。撮像装置30は、撮像部301、映像信号処理部302、音声信号処理部303、記録再生部304、レンズ駆動部305、制御部310、電源部315、操作部32、バッテリー80、記録媒体86等を備えている。また、カメラグリップ60は、上述のように操作部62を備えている。
撮像装置30とカメラグリップ60には、撮像装置30とカメラグリップ60を接続するマウント部が設けられており、マウント部はバヨネット機構を用いて構成されている。図6は撮像装置のマウント部、図7はカメラグリップのマウント部をそれぞれ例示している。また、図8は、撮像装置とカメラグリップのマウント部を構成する構成要素の分解斜視図を例示している。
撮像システムにおける撮像装置とカメラグリップの電気的接続は、上述のように接続ケーブル75を用いて行われる。また、カメラグリップのグリップ本体部61は、マウント部65を軸として図1の矢印MA方向に回動可能に構成されている。したがって、撮像システム10は、撮像装置30に対してグリップ本体部61の位置が変更されても、接続ケーブル75がグリップ本体部61のスイッチ操作の障害とならないように構成する。例えば接続ケーブル75は、グリップ本体部61の矢印MA方向の回動に応じてマウント部65の周囲に巻き付きまたは巻き戻しされるように構成することで、接続ケーブル75が大きく撓んでスイッチ操作等の障害とならないようにする。
ところで、撮像装置で用いられるアクセサリは、取り付け面を菊座(ロゼット面)で構成しているものがある。また、一方の面が菊座で他方の面側にアクセサリ等の取付部が設けられている菊座アダプター等も用いられる。
(1) 装置本体にカメラグリップを着脱可能に装着するマウント部を設け、
前記マウント部をバヨネット機構で構成した撮像装置。
(2) 前記装置本体と前記カメラグリップを接続する接続ケーブルの前記装置本体におけるケーブル方向を、前記マウント部の接線方向とした(1)に記載の撮像装置。
(3) 前記装置本体の前記マウント部を設けた面に、前記接続ケーブルを接続するためのジャックを設け、
前記ジャックに対するプラグの挿脱方向を、前記プラグが取り付けられた接続ケーブルのケーブル方向が前記マウント部の上側接線となる方向とした(1)または(2)に記載の撮像装置。
(4) 前記マウント部の内部に菊座と、
前記菊座の中央に固定用ねじ穴を設けた(1)乃至(3)の何れかに記載の撮像装置。
