また、特許文献2の場合には、エレベーターかごにトランクが無いと成立しない構造であり、トランク無しのエレベーターかごには適用できない。
図1~図3は、エレベーターかごの一般的な図を示しており、昇降路1をエレベーターかご3が昇降する。エレベーターかご3は、天井2及び壁4を有し、この壁4における側壁4a~4dと床タイル5との間に巾木6が介在している。巾木6は、図示の例では、側面巾木6aが、側壁4a及び4bと床タイル5との間に設けられ、側面巾木6bが、側壁4c及び4dと床タイル5との間に設けられている。
本実施の形態2では、図11に点線部分Hで示すように、エレベーターかご3の背面壁側の巾木を用いる。すなわち、この巾木は、図12に示すように、中央部で巾木6cと6dとに分かれ、巾木6dに踏み台9を設け、巾木6cに受け金12を設けている。なお、背面巾木6cと6dとは、この逆でもよいことは、言うまでもない。また、巾木6cの一端と巾木6dの他端には、取付金15が設けられている。
これにより、背面巾木6c及び6dと側面巾木6a及び6bを、それぞれ、背面巾木6c及び6dに設けた取付金15により、梯子を延長させる部品として使用できる。
なお、分割した背面巾木6c及び6dへの踏み台9と受け金12の取り付けは、実施の形態1で記載したように交互に設けてもよい。

- 第1及び第2のかご壁面より下部に設置された第1及び第2のかご床板と、
前記第1及び第2のかご壁面より下部に設置され、前記第1及び第2のかご床板との接触部に磁性体を備えた第1及び第2の巾木と、
平常時は、前記第1の巾木と前記第1のかご床板とで形成された第1の空間に嵌め込まれる踏み台と、
前記第2の巾木と前記第2のかご床板とで形成された第2の空間に設置された受け金とを備え、
前記第1及び第2の巾木がそれぞれ前記第1及び第2のかご床板から引き離される非常時には、前記踏み台は、前記第1の空間に嵌め込まれている状態から支点を中心に回動して前記第2の空間における受け金に引っ掛けられて梯子を形成するようになっている
