Definitions
- the present invention relates to a thermally decomposable binder containing an aliphatic polycarbonate resin and an inorganic fine particle dispersed paste composition.
- inorganic fine particle-dispersed paste compositions in which inorganic fine particles such as conductive particles, ceramics, glass, and phosphors are dispersed in a binder resin have been used to obtain sintered bodies having various shapes.
- a paste composition in which fine metal particles are dispersed as conductive particles is used for circuit formation on a substrate, and a glass paste in which glass is dispersed or a phosphor paste in which phosphor is dispersed is a plasma display panel.
- the ceramic paste in which the ceramic is dispersed is formed into a green sheet and then used for manufacturing a multilayer ceramic capacitor.
- ethyl cellulose, polyvinyl butyral, polymethyl methacrylate, and the like are used as the binder resin, but these binder resins have a degreasing temperature of 300 ° C. or higher for removal by thermal decomposition in the production of a molded body. It is expensive and has a large amount of residual carbon, so a great deal of energy is required for production. Furthermore, when handling inorganic fine particles that react with oxygen, it is preferable to degrease in a non-oxidizing atmosphere, but at this time, the temperature required for degreasing becomes higher. Therefore, a binder resin that can be degreased at a lower temperature and in a non-oxidizing atmosphere in the same manner as in an oxidizing atmosphere is desired.
- Patent Document 1 discloses a metal paste composition using polypropylene carbonate, which is one of aliphatic polycarbonates, as a binder.
- Patent Document 2 is a ceramic paste
- Patent Document 3 is a glass paste. Is disclosed.

Further, from Example 6, even when the aliphatic polycarbonate resin having the structural unit represented by the formula (1) and the aliphatic polycarbonate resin not having the mixture are used, the same effects as those of the present invention are obtained. I understand. On the other hand, compared with Example 5 and Comparative Example 4, the aliphatic polycarbonate resin obtained in Comparative Example 2 has a carboxy group, but because the distance from the main chain is long, the volume resistivity is high, It can be seen that the thermal decomposition temperature has not decreased.
