Abstract
Description
本願は、2014年5月12日に、日本に出願された特願2014-098905号に基づき優先権を主張し、その内容をここに援用する。
自動車アンダーコートや自動車ボディーシーラーの用途においては、従来塩化ビニル樹脂を含むプラスチゾル組成物が使用されていた。しかしながら塩化ビニル樹脂を用いたプラスチゾル組成物をこれらの用途に用いた場合、自動車をリサイクルする際のシュレッダーダストの溶融工程において、設備を損傷させる原因となる塩化水素等が発生するという問題があった。そこで塩化ビニル樹脂の使用量を抑制するために、例えば、代替材料としてアクリル系重合体を含むプラスチゾル組成物の検討が行われてきている。
例えば、アクリル系重合体を使用するプラスチゾル組成物として、特許文献1~3に、耐チッピング性と貯蔵安定性が良好な自動車アンダーコート用アクリル樹脂及びそれを用いたプラスチゾル組成物が記載されている。
一方、近年の環境問題への対応のために、自動車の軽量化による燃費効率の向上のための検討がなされてきている。しかしながら軽量化することによりロードノイズ等の振動が発生しやすくなるため、車室内の静粛性が損なわれるという問題が生じている。そこで静粛性を改善するために、プラスチゾル組成物から形成される塗膜の制振性(振動を抑制する性質)が要求されている。

[測定方法]
アクリル系重合体(P)100質量部に対してジイソノニルフタレート100質量部、及び酸化カルシウム2.5質量部を添加し均質に混合分散させ、1mm厚にキャストして130℃において30分の加熱を行ってシート状試験片を作製し、前記試験片の動的粘弾性を周波数1Hzにて-50~150℃の範囲で測定する。

本発明の第一の態様におけるアクリル系重合体(P)の製造方法は、アクリル系単量体混合物(a)を重合して重合体(A)を得る工程(1)と、前記重合体(A)を含む分散液中でアクリル系単量体混合物(b)を重合して重合体(B)を形成させ、前記重合体(A)及び前記重合体(B)を含むアクリル系重合体(P)を得る工程(2)とを含み、前記アクリル系単量体混合物(a)に含まれる単量体の合計100mol%中、メタクリル酸t-ブチルの含有率が8~32mol%であり、前記重合体(A)の溶解度パラメータ(SPA)が19.90(J/cm3)1/2以上であり、前記重合体(A)のガラス転移温度が90℃以上であり、前記重合体(B)の溶解度パラメータ(SPB)と前記溶解度パラメータ(SPA)との関係が、下記式(1)を満たすことを特徴とする。

以下、工程(1)及び工程(2)について詳細に説明する。
本発明の製造方法における工程(1)は、アクリル系単量体混合物(a)を重合して重合体(A)を得る工程である。
本発明の第一の態様において、アクリル系単量体混合物(a)を重合して得られる重合体(A)の溶解度パラメータ(SPA)は19.90(J/cm3)1/2以上である。19.90(J/cm3)1/2以上の重合体(A)を用いることにより、プラスチゾル組成物中に含まれる可塑剤により過度に可塑化されることがなく、良好な制振性を発現することができる。SPAは、19.90~20.50(J/cm3)1/2が好ましく、20.00~20.40(J/cm3)1/2がより好ましい。
ここで、溶解度パラメータは、重合体を構成する単量体単位のSp値(Sp(ui))を下記式(2)に代入して求められる値である。Sp(ui)は、Polymer Engineering and Science,Vol.14,147(1974)に記載されているFedorsの方法にて求めることができる。表1に、代表的な単量体単位のSp値(Sp(ui))を示す。
表中の略称は以下の単量体単位を示す。
・「MMA」:メタクリル酸メチル単位
・「n-BMA」:メタクリル酸n-ブチル単位
・「i-BMA」:メタクリル酸i-ブチル単位
・「t-BMA」:メタクリル酸t-ブチル単位
・「2-HEMA」:メタクリル酸2-ヒドロキシエチル単位
・「NVImd」:N-ビニルイミダゾール単位
・「AAEM」:メタクリル酸2-(アセトアセチルオキシ)エチル単位
アクリル系単量体混合物(a)に含まれる単量体としては、例えば、(メタ)アクリル酸メチル、(メタ)アクリル酸エチル、(メタ)アクリル酸n-ブチル、(メタ)アクリル酸s-ブチル、(メタ)アクリル酸i-ブチル、(メタ)アクリル酸t-ブチル、(メタ)アクリル酸シクロヘキシル、(メタ)アクリル酸2-エチルヘキシル、(メタ)アクリル酸ステアリル等の炭素原子数1~18の直鎖状、分岐鎖状又は環状のアルキル基を有する(メタ)アクリル酸エステル;(メタ)アクリル酸、イタコン酸、クロトン酸、マレイン酸、フマル酸、メタクリル酸-2-サクシノイルオキシエチル、メタクリル酸-2-ヘキサヒドロフタロイルオキシエチル等のカルボキシル基含有単量体;(メタ)アクリル酸2-ヒドロキシエチル、(メタ)アクリル酸2-ヒドロキシプロピル等のヒドロキシル基含有(メタ)アクリル酸エステル;(メタ)アクリル酸2-(アセトアセチルオキシ)エチル等のカルボニル基含有(メタ)アクリル酸エステル;(メタ)アクリル酸N-ジメチルアミノエチル、(メタ)アクリル酸N-ジエチルアミノエチル等のアミノ基含有(メタ)アクリル酸エステルが挙げられる。尚、「(メタ)アクリル酸」はアクリル酸とメタクリル酸の総称である。
また、ウレタン変性アクリル酸エステル、エポキシ変性アクリル酸エステル、シリコーン変性アクリル酸エステル等の特殊な単量体を含んでもよい。
アクリル系単量体混合物(a)に含まれる単量体の合計を100mol%とした場合、アクリル系単量体混合物(a)は、メタクリル酸t-ブチルを8~32mol%の範囲で含む。メタクリル酸t-ブチルを8mol%以上含むことで、最終的に得られるアクリル系重合体(P)を含むプラスチゾル組成物において、アクリル系重合体(P)は可塑剤と適度な相溶性を得ることができる。32mol%以下含むことで、SPAを19.90(J/cm3)1/2以上とすることができ、プラスチゾル組成物から得られた塗膜は過度に可塑化されることなく、且つ柔軟になり過ぎないため、良好な制振性が維持できる。メタクリル酸t-ブチルの含有率は、10~30mol%が好ましく、15~25mol%がより好ましい。
アクリル系単量体混合物(a)に含まれる単量体の合計を100mol%とした場合、アクリル系単量体混合物(a)はメタクリル酸メチルを68~92mol%の範囲で含むことが好ましい。メタクリル酸メチルの含有率は、70~90mol%が好ましく、70~80mol%がより好ましい。
アクリル系単量体混合物(a)に含まれる単量体の合計を100mol%とした場合、アクリル系単量体混合物(a)は、その他の単量体を30mol%以下含むことが好ましい。その他の単量体の含有率は、0~10mol%が好ましく、0~5mol%がより好ましい。
その他の単量体としては、ヒドロキシル基含有(メタ)アクリル酸エステルが好ましく、メタクリル酸2-ヒドロキシエチルがより好ましい。
工程(1)におけるアクリル系単量体混合物(a)の重合は、公知の重合法により行うことができる。特に重合安定性の点から、乳化重合が好ましい。重合の際に、乳化剤、重合開始剤、連鎖移動剤等を状況に応じて用いてもよい。更に、種粒子となる重合体の存在下で行ってもよい。この種粒子となる重合体はソープフリー重合、微細懸濁重合等の公知の方法で製造できる。
乳化重合は、一段階の反応で行ってもよいし、多段階の反応で行ってもよい。
乳化剤としては、例えば、アニオン性界面活性剤又はノニオン性界面活性剤を使用できる。
アニオン性界面活性剤としては、例えば、アルキルベンゼンスルホン酸塩、アルキルスルホン酸塩、アルキル硫酸エステル塩、脂肪酸金属塩、ポリオキシアルキルエーテル硫酸エステル塩、ポリオキシエチレンカルボン酸エステル硫酸エステル塩、ポリオキシエチレンアルキルフェニルエーテル硫酸エステル塩、コハク酸ジアルキルエステルスルホン酸塩(ジアルキルスルホコハク酸ナトリウム等)が挙げられる。これらは、1種を単独で又は2種以上を組み合わせて使用できる。
ノニオン性界面活性剤としては、例えば、ポリオキシエチレンアルキルフェニルエーテル、ポリオキシエチレンアルキルエーテル、ポリオキシエチレン脂肪酸エステル、ポリオキシエチレンソルビタン脂肪酸エステル、ポリオキシエチレンアルキルエーテルグリセリンホウ酸エステル、ポリオキシエチレンアルキルエーテルリン酸エステル、ポリオキシエチレン等のポリオキシエチレン鎖を分子内に有し界面活性能を有する化合物や、これら化合物のポリオキシエチレン鎖がオキシエチレン及びオキシプロピレンの共重合体で代替されている化合物、ソルビタン脂肪酸エステル、脂肪酸グリセリンエステル、グリセリン脂肪酸エステル、ペンタエリスリトール脂肪酸エステルが挙げられる。これらは、1種を単独で又は2種以上を組み合わせて使用できる。
乳化剤の使用量は、アクリル系単量体混合物(a)100質量部に対して、0.1~5質量部が好ましい。
重合開始剤としては、例えば、過酸化水素、無機過酸化物、又は還元剤と有機過酸化物との組み合わせを用いることができる。
無機過酸化物のとしては、例えば、過硫酸カリウム、過硫酸アンモニウムが挙げられる。これらは、1種を単独で又は2種を組み合わせて使用できる。
無機過酸化物の使用量は、アクリル系単量体混合物(a)100質量部に対して、0.01~0.5質量部が好ましい。
還元剤としては、例えば、エチレンジアミン四酢酸やそのナトリウム塩又はカリウム塩、これらの鉄、銅、クロム等の金属との錯化合物、スルフィン酸やそのナトリウム塩又はカリウム塩、L-アスコルビン酸やそのナトリウム塩又はカリウム塩、カルシウム塩、ピロリン酸第一鉄、硫酸第一鉄、硫酸第一鉄アンモニウム、亜硫酸ナトリウム、酸性亜硫酸ナトリウム、ホルムアルデヒドスルホキシル酸ナトリウム、還元糖類が挙げられる。これらは、1種を単独で又は2種以上を組み合わせて使用できる。
有機過酸化物としては、例えば、クメンヒドロペルオキシド、p-サイメンヒドロペルオキシド、t-ブチルイソプロピルベンゼンヒドロペルオキシド、ジイソプロピルベンゼンヒドロペルオキシド、p-メンタンヒドロペルオキシド、デカリンヒドロペルオキシド、t-アミルヒドロペルオキシド、t-ブチルヒドロペルオキシド、イソプロピルヒドロペルオキシド等のヒドロペルオキシド類が挙げられる。これらは、1種を単独で又は2種以上を組み合わせて使用できる。
工程(1)におけるアクリル系単量体混合物(a)の重合においては、重合体(A)の分子量調整のため連鎖移動剤を使用してもよい。連鎖移動剤としては、例えば、n-オクチルメルカプタン、n-ドデシルメルカプタン、t-ドデシルメルカプタン、チオグリコール酸2-エチルヘキシル、チオグリコール酸オクチル、チオグリコール酸メトキシブチル、メルカプトプロピオン酸トリデシルが挙げられる。連鎖移動剤の量は、アクリル系単量体混合物(a)100質量部に対して0.01質量部以上用いることができる。具体的には0.01~1質量部が好ましい。
重合温度
アクリル系単量体混合物(a)の重合温度は、重合開始剤の種類や重合条件に応じて設定すればよい。例えば、重合開始剤として過硫酸カリウム、過硫酸アンモニウム等の無機過酸化物を単独で使用する場合は、重合開始剤の10時間半減期温度以上の温度であれば重合が可能である。特に、重合開始剤の10時間半減期温度よりも5度以上高い温度が、重合の安定性や時間短縮の点から好ましい。
アクリル系単量体混合物(a)の重合時間は、重合開始剤の種類や重合条件に応じて設定すればよい。重合温度よって、適した重合時間は異なるが、重合開始剤の熱分解が起こりラジカルを発生できる時間内に重合を行う必要がある。
本発明の製造方法における工程(2)は、重合体(A)を含む分散液中でアクリル系単量体混合物(b)を重合して重合体(B)を形成させ、重合体(A)及び重合体(B)を含むアクリル系重合体(P)を得る工程である。本発明の第一の態様において、アクリル系単量体混合物(b)を重合して得られる重合体(B)の溶解度パラメータ(SPB)と重合体(A)の溶解度パラメータ(SPA)は、下記式(1)を満足することが必要である。

SPBは、SPAと同様に、下記式(4)によって得ることができる。
アクリル系単量体混合物(b)に用いるアクリル系単量体としては、上述のアクリル系単量体混合物(a)に含まれるものとして例示した単量体と同様のものを用いることができるが、工程(2)で得られる重合体(B)が、用いる可塑剤に対して難相溶性を示すような単量体を選択して使用することが好ましい。アクリル系重合体(P)に可塑剤を加えてプラスチゾル組成物を調製する場合、そのアクリル系重合体(P)が可塑剤に対して難相溶性を示せば、可塑化の速度が遅くなるため、プラスチゾル組成物の貯蔵安定性が向上するからである。
例えば、可塑剤としてジイソノニルフタレートを用いる場合、アクリル系単量体混合物(b)に用いるアクリル系単量体としては、(メタ)アクリル酸メチル、(メタ)アクリル酸エチル、(メタ)アクリル酸n-ブチル、(メタ)アクリル酸s-ブチル、(メタ)アクリル酸i-ブチル、(メタ)アクリル酸t-ブチル、(メタ)アクリル酸、メタクリル酸2-ヒドロキシルエチルを用いることが好ましい。N-ビニルイミダゾール等の単量体を用いてもよい。
メタクリル酸メチルを80mol%以上用いることにより、貯蔵安定性がより向上する。メタクリル酸メチルの含有率は、80~100mol%が好ましく、90~98mol%がより好ましい。
アクリル系単量体混合物(b)は、アクリル系単量体混合物(b)に含まれる単量体の合計100mol%に対し、その他の単量体を20mol%以下含むことが好ましい。その他の単量体の含有率は、0~20mol%が好ましく、2~10mol%がより好ましい。その他の単量体としては、アクリル系単量体混合物(a)に用いられる単量体と同様にヒドロキシル基含有(メタ)アクリル酸エステルが好ましく、メタクリル酸2-ヒドロキシエチルがより好ましい。
またアクリル系単量体混合物(b)の割合が35質量%以下であれば、プラスチゾル組成物から得られる塗膜の制振性がより向上する。更に、塗膜等の成形体の制振性の点から、アクリル系単量体混合物(b)の割合は15質量%以下((a)/(b)が98/2~85/15)がより好ましい。
工程(2)におけるアクリル系単量体混合物(b)の重合は、工程(1)と同様に、公知の重合法により行えばよい。重合安定性の点から、乳化重合が好ましい。重合の際に、重合禁止剤を使用してもよいし、上述の工程(1)で例示したものと同様の乳化剤、重合開始剤、連鎖移動剤等を状況に応じて用いてもよい。
アクリル系単量体混合物(b)は、重合体(A)を含む分散液へ一度に添加してもよいし、数回に分割して添加してもよい。その際は、分散液を攪拌しながら滴下し混合することが好ましい。
重合体(A)を含む分散液
重合体(A)を含む分散液とは、上述の工程(1)において、アクリル系単量体混合物(a)を重合した後に得られる重合体(A)を含む反応液のことである。前記分散液は、重合体(A)の他、重合の際に使用した乳化剤、重合開始剤、連鎖移動剤等を含んでいてもよい。
重合禁止剤
重合体(A)を含む分散液へのアクリル系単量体混合物(b)の添加及び混合は、アクリル系単量体混合物(b)の重合反応を一時的に阻害する為の重合禁止剤の存在下で行うことが好ましい。重合禁止剤の使用方法としては、例えば、工程(1)のアクリル系単量体混合物(a)の重合反応終了後、工程(2)のアクリル系単量体混合物(b)の添加に先立って、重合体(A)を含む分散液に重合禁止剤を添加する方法や、アクリル系単量体混合物(b)に予め重合禁止剤を配合し、重合体(A)を含む分散液に添加混合する方法がある。
重合禁止剤の使用量は、重合開始時に使用した重合開始剤の量を1モルとした場合、0.1~30モルが好ましい。
より好ましくは、重合禁止剤を添加する際、重合体(A)を含む分散液中に存在する重合開始剤のモル数(I)に対し、重合禁止剤のモル数(Q)が0.1≦Q/I≦30の関係を満たす重合禁止剤の量を添加する。重合体(A)を含む分散液中に存在する重合開始剤のモル数(I)は、例えば、WO2011/155566に記載の方法で求めることができる。
工程1及び工程2で、重合開始剤の添加量、重合温度、連鎖移動剤の添加量により、アクリル系重合体(P)のGPC(ゲル・パーミエイション・クロマトグラフィー)法(ポリスチレン換算)により求められる質量平均分子量を調整することができる。アクリル系重合体(P)の質量平均分子量は、50,000~1,000,000が好ましく、100,000~700,000がより好ましい。各範囲の上限値以下であると、可塑剤により容易に可塑化し、優れた加工性を有するプラスチゾル組成物が得られるため好ましい。また各範囲の下限値以上であると、プラスチゾル組成物の貯蔵安定性の低下を抑制できるため好ましい。尚、質量平均分子量は連鎖移動剤を用いる等、通常の方法で調節することができる。
本発明の第二の態様におけるアクリル系重合体(P)は、前記[アクリル系重合体(P)の製造方法]から得られる重合体である。
本発明の第二の態様におけるアクリル系重合体(P)は、重合体(B)の溶解度パラメータ(SPB)と前記溶解度パラメータ(SPA)との関係が、(SPB)-(SPA)≦0.55の条件を満たすことにより、可塑剤との相溶性に優れ、また、[アクリル系単量体混合物(a)の質量]/[アクリル系単量体混合物(b)の質量]が98/2~65/35と、アクリル系単量体混合物(a)の質量を多くすることにより、アクリル系重合体(P)を含むプラスチゾル組成物から形成される塗膜が、耐チッピング性において優れたものとなる。
前記工程(2)の後、得られたアクリル系重合体(P)は、例えば、噴霧乾燥法(スプレードライ法)や酸凝固や塩凝固させた後に乾燥させることにより、粉体として成形することができる。特に一次粒子同士が強固に結合せず、弱い剪断力で容易に一次粒子の状態にできる点から、噴霧乾燥法が好ましい。
粉体として得られるアクリル系重合体(P)の体積平均粒子径は、5~200μmが好ましい。体積平均粒子径が5μm以上であれば、プラスチゾル組成物製造時の重合体の取り扱いが容易となる。また200μm以下であれば、プラスチゾル組成物中の重合体を均一に分散でき、その塗膜は重合体の分散不良によって生じるブツ等が少なく、塗膜外観が良好となる。
本明細書において、体積平均粒子径は、レーザ回折・光散乱法により測定した値である。
[測定方法]
アクリル系重合体(P)100質量部に対してジイソノニルフタレート100質量部、及び酸化カルシウム2.5質量部を添加し均質に混合分散させ、1mm厚にキャストして130℃において30分の加熱を行ってシート状試験片を作製し、前記試験片から4mm×35mmを切り出し、動的粘弾性を周波数1Hzにて-50~150℃の範囲で測定する。
本発明の第三の態様におけるアクリル系重合体(P)は、30~105℃の範囲に0.7以上のtanδのピークを少なくとも1つ有することにより、アクリル系重合体(P)を含むプラスチゾル組成物から形成される塗膜が、制振性において優れたものとなる。
また、tanδの値が大きいほど、振動を熱エネルギーへと変換することができ、従って良好な制振性を有することとなる。30~105℃の範囲において、tanδのピークは0.7以上が好ましく、0.8以上がより好ましい。
前記工程(2)の後、得られたアクリル系重合体(P)は、例えば、噴霧乾燥法や酸凝固や塩凝固させた後に乾燥させることにより、粉体として成形することができる。特に一次粒子同士が強固に結合せず、弱い剪断力で容易に一次粒子の状態にできる点から、噴霧乾燥法が好ましい。

本発明の第四の態様におけるアクリル系重合体(P)は、重合体(A)がメタクリル酸メチル単位を68~92mol%含み、重合体(B)がメタクリル酸メチル単位80mol%以上含むことにより、アクリル系重合体(P)を含むプラスチゾル組成物から形成される塗膜が、制振性と貯蔵安定性に優れたものとなる。重合体(A)がメタクリル酸t-ブチル単位を8~32mol%含むことにより、アクリル系重合体(P)を含むプラスチゾル組成物が、耐チッピング性に優れたものとなる。
前記工程(2)の後、得られたアクリル系重合体(P)は、例えば、噴霧乾燥法や酸凝固や塩凝固させた後に乾燥させることにより、粉体として成形することができる。特に一次粒子同士が強固に結合せず、弱い剪断力で容易に一次粒子の状態にできる点から、噴霧乾燥法が好ましい。

アクリル系単量体混合物(a)、アクリル系単量体混合物(b)としては、上述の本願の第一の態様で挙げたものと同様のものが使用できる。
工程(1)におけるアクリル系単量体混合物(a)の重合方法は、上述の本願の第一の態様と同様の方法が使用できる。
工程(2)におけるアクリル系単量体混合物(b)の重合方法は、上述の本願の第一の態様と同様の方法が使用できる。
重合体(S)を構成する単量体単位の合計を100mol%とした場合、メタクリル酸メチル単量体単位を20~85mol%、メタクリル酸n-ブチル単量体単位を15~80mol%含むことが好ましい。
重合体(A)を構成する単量体単位の合計を100mol%とした場合、メタクリル酸メチル単量体単位を68~92mol%、(メタ)アクリル酸t-ブチル単量体単位を8~32mol%、その他の単量体単位を30mol%以下含むことが好ましい。
重合体(B)を構成する単量体単位の合計を100mol%とした場合、メタクリル酸メチル単量体単位を80mol%以上、その他の単量体単位を20mol%以下含むことが好ましい。
また、重合体(A)及び重合体(B)の質量比(以下「A/B」ともいう。)は、[重合体(A)の質量]/[重合体(B)の質量]で表して、98/2~65/35が好ましく、98/2~85/15がより好ましい。
本発明の第五の態様におけるプラスチゾル組成物は、前記第二の態様、第三の態様、又は第四の態様におけるアクリル系重合体(P)、可塑剤、及び充填剤を含む。必要に応じて、塩化ビニル樹脂、接着剤、発泡剤、溶剤等を含んでいてもよい。本発明のプラスチゾル組成物は、本発明のアクリル系重合体(P)を含むことにより、制振性及び耐チッピング性に優れた塗膜を形成でき、且つ貯蔵安定性に優れる。
可塑剤の具体例としては、ジメチルフタレート、ジエチルフタレート、ジブチルフタレート、ジヘプチルフタレート、ジ-2-エチルヘキシルフタレート、ジオクチルフタレート、ジイソノニルフタレート、ジイソデシルフタレート等のフタル酸ジアルキルエステル、ブチルベンジルフタレート、テキサノールベンジルフタレート等のフタル酸アルキルベンジルエステルといったフタル酸エステル系可塑剤;ジメチルアジペート、ジブチルアジペート、ジイソブチルアジペート、ジヘキシルアジペート、ジ-2-エチルヘキシルアジペート、ジイソノニルアジペート、ジブチルジグリコールアジペート等のアジピン酸エステル系可塑剤;トリメチルホスフェート、トリエチルホスフェート、トリブチルホスフェート、トリ-2-エチルヘキシルホスフェート、トリブトキシエチルホスフェート、トリフェニルホスフェート、トリクレジルホスフェート、トリキシレニルホスフェート、クレジルフェニルホスフェート等のリン酸エステル系可塑剤;トリ-2-エチルヘキシルトリメリテート等のトリメリット酸エステル系可塑剤;ジメチルセバケート、ジブチルセバケート、ジ-2-エチルヘキシルセバケート等のセバチン酸エステル系可塑剤;ポリ-1,3-ブタンジオールアジペート等の脂肪族系ポリエステル可塑剤;ジエチレングリコールジベンゾエート、ジブチレングリコールジベンゾエート等の安息香酸系可塑剤;エポキシ化大豆油等のエポキシ化エステル系可塑剤;アルキルスルホン酸フェニルエステル等のアルキルスルホン酸フェニルエステル系可塑剤;脂環式二塩基酸エステル系可塑剤;ポリプロピレングリコール、ポリブチレングリコール等のポリエーテル系可塑剤;クエン酸アセチルトリブチル等のクエン酸系可塑剤が挙げられる。これらは、1種を単独で又は2種以上を組み合わせて使用できる。
中でも、価格や入手のし易さの点から、ジオクチルフタレート、ジイソノニルフタレート、ジイソデシルフタレート等のフタル酸ジアルキルエステルを主成分として用いることが好ましい。
制振性向上の観点からは、更に、ブチルベンジルフタレート、テキサノールベンジルフタレート等のフタル酸アルキルベンジルエステルを含むことが好ましい。
プラスチゾル組成物中、可塑剤の含有量は、アクリル系重合体(P)100質量部に対し、50~200質量部が好ましく、70~100質量部がより好ましい。
可塑剤の合計を100質量%とした場合、フタル酸ジアルキルエステルを50質量%以上含むことが好ましい。フタル酸アルキルベンジルエステルを0~40質量%含むことがより好ましく、10~30質量%含むことが更に好ましい。
充填剤の性状としては、アスペクト比の高い充填剤を使用することが好ましく、充填剤の体積平均粒子径は20~150μmであることがより好ましい。充填剤は、1種を単独で又は2種以上を組み合わせて使用してもよい。
充填剤の含有量は、アクリル系重合体(P)100質量部に対し、5~400質量部が好ましく、50~300質量部がより好ましい。
プラスチゾル組成物中、塩化ビニル樹脂の含有量は、アクリル系重合体(P)100質量部に対し、0~100質量部が好ましく、5~50質量部がより好ましい。
プラスチゾル組成物中、接着剤の含有量は、アクリル系重合体(P)100質量部に対し、5~50質量部が好ましく、10~40質量部がより好ましい。
プラスチゾル組成物中、硬化剤の含有量は、用いる接着剤の官能基と硬化剤が有する活性水素の基数により決めることができる。例えば、接着剤としてブロックウレタン樹脂を用いる場合、ブロックウレタン樹脂中に含まれるNCO基のモル数と、硬化剤中に含まれる活性水素基のモル数の比が、[NCO基のモル数]/[活性水素基のモル数]で表して、0.5~2が好ましく、0.7~1.5がより好ましい。活性水素基とは、水酸基、アミノ基、チオール基、カルボキシル基が例示できる。
発泡剤の配合により、同質量の塗布で厚みが向上し、制振性が向上する。
発泡剤としては、例えば、アゾジカルボンアミド、4,4’-オキシビス(ベンゼンスルホニルヒドラジド)、N,N’-ジニトロソペンタメチレンテトラミン、又はアゾジカルボンアミドと4,4’-オキシビス(ベンゼンスルホニルヒドラジド)の複合発泡剤、N,N’-ジニトロソペンタメチレンテトラミンと4,4’-オキシビス(ベンゼンスルホニルヒドラジド)の複合発泡剤等の化学発泡剤;炭化水素を内包し、塩化ビニリデン-アクリロニトリル系共重合体や、アクリロニトリル系共重合体等の熱可塑性高分子のシェルを有する熱膨張性マイクロバルーン等の物理発泡剤が挙げられる。
発泡倍率の観点から、化学発泡剤であればアゾジカルボンアミドと4,4’-オキシビス(ベンゼンスルホニルヒドラジド)の複合発泡剤が好ましく、物理発泡剤であれば、最高膨脹温度が80~160℃のマイクロバルーンが好ましい。
脂肪族又は脂環式炭化水素系溶剤としては、例えば、n-ヘキサン、2-メチルペンタン、3-メチルペンタン、2,2-ジメチルブタン、2,3-ジメチルブタン、n-ヘプタン、n-オクタン、i-オクタン、n-デカン、n-ドデカン等の脂肪族炭化水素系溶剤;シクロヘキサン、メチルシクロヘキサン、エチルシクロヘキサン、シクロヘプタン、メチルシクロヘプタン等の脂環式炭化水素系溶剤が挙げられる。また、市販のものを用いてもよい。例えば、エクソンモービル(株)製の「アイソパーC」、「アイソパーE」、「アイソパーG」、「アイソパーH」、「アイソパーL」、「アイソパーM」、「エクソールDSP100/140」、「エクソールD30」、「エクソールD40」、「エクソールD80」、「エクソールD110」、「エクソールD130」;シェルケミカルズジャパン(株)製の「シェルゾールS」、「シェルゾールTG」、「シェルゾールTK」、「シェルゾールTM」、「シェルゾールD40」、「シェルゾールD70」;出光興産(株)製の「IPソルベント1016」、「IPソルベント1620」、「IPソルベント2028」、「IPソルベント2835」、「IPクリーンLX」、「IPクリーンHX」;丸善石油化学(株)製の「スワクリーン150」が挙げられる。これらは、1種を単独で又は2種以上を併用してもよい。
本発明のプラスチゾルは、耐チッピング強度を有するため、コーティング用途、特に自動車のアンダーコート用途に優れたプラスチゾル組成物を提供することができる。
本発明のプラスチゾルをアンダーコートとして使用する方法は、刷毛塗り、ローラー塗装、エアスプレー塗装、静電塗装、エアレススプレー塗装等公知の塗布手段により、必要な場所に任意の厚さ及び塗布形態において塗布する工程、熱風循環乾燥機炉等を使用して加熱することで塗膜を形成する工程を含む。
焼き付ける際の温度としては、80~220℃が好ましい。焼き付ける際の時間としては、5~60分間が好ましい。
得られる塗膜の膜厚は、0.3~5mmが好ましい。
本発明のプラスチゾル組成物から得られる塗膜は良好な制振性を有する。制振性は、例えば、自動車用アンダーコートに使用される場合、ロードノイズ等、外部から自動車に伝わる振動エネルギーを、塗膜中で熱エネルギーに変換することによって発現する。制振性の度合いを測定する方法の1つとして、塗膜の温度変化に対する動的粘弾性を測定する方法が挙げられる。動的粘弾性は、引張貯蔵弾性率(E’)と引張損失弾性率(E’’)で表すことができる。これらの値は、アクリル系重合体(P)100質量部に対してジイソノニルフタレート100質量部、及び酸化カルシウム2.5質量部を添加し均質に混合分散させ、1mm厚にキャストして130℃×30分間の加熱を行って塗膜を作製し、4mm×35mmの大きさの試験片を切り出した後、前記試験片の動的粘弾性を周波数1Hzにて-50~150℃の範囲で測定することにより得られる。
温度(℃)を横軸に、tanδを縦軸にプロットした場合、引張貯蔵弾性率(E’)と引張損失弾性率(E’’)の比(E’’/E’)である損失正接(tanδ)のピークが、プラスチゾル組成物から得られる塗膜が使用される温度領域、即ち、常温付近においてできるだけ大きな値を有することが好ましい。30~105℃の範囲にピークがあることがより好ましく、30~70℃の範囲にあることが更に好ましい。
また、tanδの値が大きいほど、振動を熱エネルギーへと変換することができ、従って良好な制振性を有することとなる。30~105℃の範囲においてtanδのピークは0.7以上が好ましく、0.8以上がより好ましい。
尚、一般的には重合体(A)と重合体(B)の溶解度パラメータの差が大きい場合、損失正接(tanδ)のピークの値は小さくなる。一方、重合体(A)と重合体(B)の溶解度パラメータの差が小さい場合、損失正接(tanδ)のピークの値は大きくなる。
従って、広い温度域においてより高い制振性を得るためには、重合体(A)と重合体(B)の溶解度パラメータの差(SPB)-(SPA)が0.05≦(SPB)-(SPA)≦0.55の関係を満たすこと、及び、30~105℃の範囲において0.7以上のtanδのピークを少なくとも1つ有すること、をいずれも備えたアクリル系重合体(P)であることが好ましい。
[工程(1)]
温度計、窒素ガス導入管、攪拌棒、滴下漏斗及び冷却管を装備した2リットルの4つ口フラスコに、イオン交換水544gを入れ、30分間窒素ガスを通気し、イオン交換水中の溶存酸素を置換した。次いで、窒素ガスの通気を停止し、200rpmで攪拌しながら80℃に昇温した。
内温が80℃に達した時点で、メタクリル酸メチル26.1g及びメタクリル酸n-ブチル19.9gからなるアクリル系単量体混合物(s)を一括投入した。
続いて、過硫酸カリウム0.40gとイオン交換水16gを投入して重合を行い、種粒子となる重合体粒子を形成した。45分経過後、ジアルキルスルホコハク酸ナトリウム(商品名:ペレックスOT-P、花王(株)製)0.32g及びイオン交換水16.0gを投入した。その15分後に、アクリル系単量体混合物(a)として、メタクリル酸メチル440.6g(72.8mol%)、メタクリル酸t-ブチル208.4g(24.3mol%)及びメタクリル酸2-ヒドロキシエチル22.9g(2.9mol%)と、ジアルキルスルホコハク酸ナトリウム(商品名:ペレックスOT-P、花王(株)製)0.72g及びイオン交換水207.2gからなるアクリル系単量体混合物(a)を4時間30分かけて滴下して重合を完了し、重合体(A)を含む分散液を得た。
工程(1)で得た重合体(A)を含む分散液を、80℃で60分間保持し、重合禁止剤としてp-メトキシフェノール24mg及びイオン交換水4gを投入した。そして、重合禁止剤投入から5分後にアクリル系単量体混合物(b)としてメタクリル酸メチル77.0g(97.1mol%)及びメタクリル酸2-ヒドロキシエチル3.0g(2.9mol%)と、ジアルキルスルホコハク酸ナトリウム(商品名:ペレックスOT-P、花王(株)製)0.8g及びイオン交換水28gからなるアクリル系単量体混合物(b)を30分間かけて滴下した。
80℃で2時間30分攪拌を継続して、重合体(A)及び重合体(B)を含むアクリル系重合体(P-1)の分散液を得た。重合は毎分25mlの窒素ガスを通気した環境下で行った。この重合体(P-1)の分散液を、L-8型スプレードライヤー(大河原化工機(株)製)を用いて入口温度/出口温度=150/65℃及びディスク回転数20,000rpmの条件で噴霧乾燥し、アクリル系重合体(P-1)を得た。
得られた重合体(P-1)のGPC(ゲル・パーミエイション・クロマトグラフィー)法により、以下の条件で測定したポリスチレン換算値を、重合体の質量平均分子量とした。

アクリル系重合体(P-1)100部と、可塑剤としてジイソノニルフタレート((株)ジェイプラス製)100部を、真空ミキサーにて5秒間大気圧下(0.1MPa)で混合した。
更に、この混合物を2.7kPaに減圧して115秒間混合し、貯蔵安定性評価用プラスチゾル組成物を得た。このプラスチゾル組成物を25℃の恒温槽で2時間保温し、BH型粘度計((株)東京計器製)NO.7ローターを用いて、回転数20rpmで1分後の初期粘度(α)(単位Pa・s)を測定した。
測定後のプラスチゾル組成物を40℃雰囲気下で保管し、初期粘度と同様の方法で10日後の粘度(β)を測定した。そして、増粘率(%)=[(β-α)/α]×100の式から、増粘率(%)を求めた。
アクリル系重合体(P-1)100部と、可塑剤としてジイソノニルフタレート((株)ジェイプラス製)100部を、及び酸化カルシウム2.5部を真空ミキサーにて5秒間大気圧下(0.1MPa)で混合した。
更に、この混合物を2.7kPaに減圧して115秒間混合し、粘弾性評価用プラスチゾル組成物を得た。プラスチゾル組成物をテフロン(登録商標)処理された鉄板(厚さ約2mm)上に約1mm厚になるようにキャストし、これをギヤーオーブンで130℃×30分加熱して得たシート状成形体を得た。
得たシート状成形体を、幅4mm×長さ35mmの短冊形状に切り出し、粘弾性測定装置((株)ユービーエム製、RheogelE-4000)を用い、周波数1Hzにて、-50~150℃(昇温速度4℃/分)にわたって動的粘弾性の測定を行った。得られた動的粘弾性の温度依存性のチャートには1つ以上のtanδピークが認められ、最も高いtanδのピーク温度とピーク値を読み取った。
充填剤として炭酸カルシウム(商品名:ホワイトンP-70、白石カルシウム(株)製)200部と、可塑剤としてジイソノニルフタレート((株)ジェイプラス製)80部、及びサンチサイザー278(商品名、(株)フェロ・ジャパン製、フタル酸テキサノールベンジル)20部、接着剤としてブロックウレタン樹脂(商品名:アデカレジンQR-9401、(株)ADEKA製)20部、硬化剤としてアジピン酸ジヒドラジド(商品名:アジピン酸ジヒドラジド、大塚化学(株)製)1.68部、溶剤としてアイソパーH(商品名、エクソンモービル化学(有)製)20部、吸湿剤として酸化カルシウム3部を真空ミキサーARV-200(商品名、(株)シンキー製)にて10秒間大気圧(0.1MPa)で混合した後、2.7kPaに減圧して170秒間混合して炭酸カルシウムと可塑剤の混練物を得た。続いてこれに重合体(P-1)100部を添加し、更に真空ミキサーにて10秒間大気圧下(0.1MPa)で混合した後、2.7kPaに減圧して110秒間混合しプラスチゾル組成物を得た。得られたプラスチゾル組成物について、耐チッピング強度、制振性を評価した結果を表2に示す。
得られたプラスチゾル組成物を、150mm×70mm×0.8mmのカチオン電着板(三木コーティング(株)製)に塗布し、130℃で30分加熱し、膜厚1mmの被膜を成形した。縦2mm×横4mmの切込みを入れて試験片とし、水平から60度の角度で設置した。真鋳製ナット(M4サイズ)3kgを直径20mmの塩ビパイプを通して2mの高さから試験片に衝突させる試験を繰り返し、試験片が破壊して基材が露出するまでに落としたナットの合計質量を測定した。
得られたプラスチゾル組成物を、250mm×15mm×0.8mmのSPCC鋼板((株)パルテック製)200mm×15mmの範囲に面密度が4kg/m2となるように塗布し、130℃で30分加熱し、試験片を得た。試験片の制振性を制振性測定装置((株)小野測器製)を用いた片持ち梁法にて2次共振ピークの損失係数を求めた。測定温度は-10℃から60℃までとし、各温度に設定後、測定温度にて1時間保持したのち測定開始した。
アクリル系単量体混合物(a)及びアクリル系単量体混合物(b)を表2及び3に示すように変更し、且つ連鎖移動剤を表2及び3に示すように加えたこと以外は、実施例1と同様にしてアクリル系重合体(P-2)~(P-11)を製造し、実施例1と同様に質量平均分子量、貯蔵安定性、及び塗膜の粘弾性の測定を行った。実施例1と同様にプラスチゾル組成物を調製し、実施例1と同様に耐チッピング強度、制振性について評価した。結果を表2及び3に示す。尚、実施例10及び11は重合禁止剤を使用せずに重合を行った。
アクリル系単量体混合物(a)及びアクリル系単量体混合物(b)を表3に示すように変更したこと以外は、実施例1と同様にしてアクリル系重合体(P-12)~(P-13)を製造し、実施例1と同様に質量平均分子量、貯蔵安定性、及び塗膜の粘弾性の測定を行った。実施例1と同様にプラスチゾル組成物を調製し、実施例1と同様に耐チッピング強度、制振性について評価した。結果を表3に示す。尚、比較例1及び2は重合禁止剤を使用せずに重合を行った。
温度計、窒素ガス導入管、攪拌棒、滴下漏斗、冷却管を装備した2リットルの4つ口フラスコに、純水544gを入れ、30分間窒素ガスを充分に通気し、純水中の溶存酸素を置換した。窒素ガス通気を停止した後、200rpmで攪拌しながら80℃に昇温した。内温が80℃に達した時点でメタクリル酸メチル26.1g及びメタクリル酸n-ブチル19.9gの単量体混合物、重合開始剤として過硫酸カリウム0.4gとイオン交換水16gを添加し、1時間重合を行った。引き続きアクリル系単量体混合物(a)として、メタクリル酸メチル276gとメタクリル酸t-ブチル260gとアニオン性界面活性剤としてジアルキルスルホコハク酸ナトリウム(商品名:ペレックスO-TP、花王(株)製)5.6gと純水268gの単量体混合物を滴下によって投入した。その後、重合による発熱が見られなくなった後1時間保持し、アクリル系単量体混合物(b)として、メタクリル酸メチル80gとアニオン性界面活性剤としてジアルキルスルホコハク酸ナトリウム(商品名:ペレックスO-TP、花王(株)製)0.8gと純水40gの単量体混合物を投入した。更に、重合による発熱が見られなくなった後1時間保持し、アクリル系単量体混合物(b)として、メタクリル酸メチル13.5gとメタクリル酸i-ブチル8.4gとN-ビニルイミダゾール1.8gとアニオン性界面活性剤としてジアルキルスルホコハク酸ナトリウム(商品名:ペレックスO-TP、花王(株)製)0.24gと純水12gの単量体混合物を投入した。その後、80℃にて1時間攪拌を継続して、重合体散液)を得た。得られた重合体混合物は実施例1と同様に噴霧乾燥を行い、アクリル系重合体(P-14)を得た。実施例1と同様に質量平均分子量、貯蔵安定性、及び塗膜の粘弾性の測定を行った。実施例1と同様にプラスチゾル組成物を調製し、実施例1と同様に耐チッピング強度、制振性について評価した。結果を表4に示す。

・「MMA」:メタクリル酸メチル(三菱レイヨン(株)製)
・「t-BMA」:メタクリル酸t-ブチル(三菱レイヨン(株)製)
・「n-BMA」:メタクリル酸n-ブチル(三菱レイヨン(株)製)
・「2-HEMA」:メタクリル酸2-ヒドロキシエチル(三菱レイヨン(株)製)
・「i-BMA」:メタクリル酸i-ブチル(三菱レイヨン(株)製)
・「NVImd」:N-ビニルイミダゾール(BASF社製)
・「AAEM」:メタクリル酸2-(アセトアセチルオキシ)エチル(イーストマンケミカル社製)
・「n-OM」:1-オクタンチオール(和光純薬工業(株)製)
・「OTG」:チオグリコール酸2-エチルヘキシル(淀化学(株)製)
アクリル系重合体としてP-4を用い、充填剤として、更に金マイカW-40Hを配合した場合の物性の検討を行った。
[金マイカ配合プラスチゾルの調整]
充填剤として炭酸カルシウム(商品名:ホワイトンP-70、白石カルシウム(株)製)100部と、可塑剤としてジイソノニルフタレート((株)ジェイプラス製)80部、及びサンチサイザー278(商品名、(株)フェロ・ジャパン製)20部、接着剤としてブロックウレタン樹脂(商品名:アデカレジンQR-9401、(株)ADEKA製)20部、硬化剤としてアジピン酸ジヒドラジド(商品名:アジピン酸ジヒドラジド、大塚化学(株)製)1.68部、溶剤としてアイソパーH(商品名、エクソンモービル化学(有)製)20部、吸湿剤として酸化カルシウム3部、及び充填剤として金マイカW-40H(商品名、(株)レプコ製)25部を真空ミキサーARV-200(商品名、(株)シンキー製)にて10秒間大気圧(0.1MPa)で混合した後、2.7kPaに減圧して170秒間混合して炭酸カルシウムと可塑剤の混練物を得た。続いてこれに重合体(P-4)100部を添加し、更に真空ミキサーにて10秒間大気圧下(0.1MPa)で混合した後、2.7kPaに減圧して110秒間混合しプラスチゾル組成物を得た。得られたプラスチゾル組成物について、耐チッピング強度、制振性を評価した結果を表5に示す。
・「W-40H」:金マイカ(湿式粉砕品) 平均粒子径:33μm アスペクト比:55((株)レプコ製)
・「M-200」:白マイカ(湿式粉砕品) 平均粒子径:55μm アスペクト比:33((株)レプコ製)
・「K-330」:ワラストナイト 平均粒子径:20μm アスペクト比:3~30(啓和炉材(株)製)
・「ST#44」:アゾジカルボンアミドと4,4’‐オキシビス(ベンゼンスルホニルヒドラジド)の複合発泡剤 商品名:スパンセルST#44(永和化成(株)製)
・「FN-78D」:炭化水素内包マイクロバルーン(アクリロニトリル系コポリマーシェルタイプ) 商品名:マツモトマイクロスフェアーFN-78D(松本油脂製薬(株)製) 平均粒子径:35~50μm 膨脹開始温度:100~115℃ 最大膨脹温度:150~165℃
アクリル系重合体としてP-4を用い、充填剤として、更に白マイカM-200を配合した場合の物性の検討を行った。
W-40Hに代えてM-200を用いた以外は全て実施例12と同様に行った。得られたプラスチゾル組成物について、耐チッピング強度、制振性を評価した結果を表5に示す。
アクリル系重合体としてP-4を用い、充填剤として、更にワラストナイトK-330を配合した場合の物性の検討を行った。
W-40Hに代えてK-330を用いた以外は全て実施例12と同様に行った。得られたプラスチゾル組成物について、耐チッピング強度、制振性を評価した結果を表5に示す。
アクリル系重合体としてP-4を用い、発泡剤としてスパンセルST#44を配合した場合の物性の検討を行った。
充填剤として炭酸カルシウム(商品名:ホワイトンP-70、白石カルシウム(株)製)100部と、可塑剤としてジイソノニルフタレート((株)ジェイプラス製)80部、及びサンチサイザー278(商品名、(株)フェロ・ジャパン製)20部、接着剤としてブロックウレタン樹脂(商品名:アデカレジンQR-9401、(株)ADEKA製)20部、硬化剤としてアジピン酸ジヒドラジド(商品名:アジピン酸ジヒドラジド、大塚化学(株)製)1.68部、溶剤としてアイソパーH(商品名、エクソンモービル化学(有)製)20部、吸湿剤として酸化カルシウム3部、及び充填剤として金マイカW-40H(商品名、(株)レプコ製)25部、発泡剤としてスパンセルST#44 2部を真空ミキサーARV-200(商品名、(株)シンキー製)にて10秒間大気圧(0.1MPa)で混合した後、2.7kPaに減圧して170秒間混合して炭酸カルシウムと可塑剤の混練物を得た。続いてこれに重合体(P-4)100部を添加し、更に真空ミキサーにて10秒間大気圧下(0.1MPa)で混合した後、2.7kPaに減圧して110秒間混合しプラスチゾル組成物を得た。得られたプラスチゾル組成物について、耐チッピング強度、制振性を評価した結果を表5に示す。
アクリル系重合体としてP-6を用い、発泡剤としてマツモトマイクロスフェアーFN-78Dを配合した場合の物性の検討を行った。
ST#44に代えてFN―78Dを用いた以外は全て実施例15と同様に行った。得られたプラスチゾル組成物について、耐チッピング強度、制振性を評価した結果を表5に示す。
プラスチゾル組成物に充填剤としてワラストナイトを用いることで、実施例14は同じアクリル系重合体P-4を用いた実施例4よりも損失係数ηの数値が大きい値を示した。
プラスチゾル組成物に発泡剤としてスパンセルST#44を用いることで、実施例15は、同じアクリル系重合体P-4を用い、充填剤に金マイカを用いた実施例12よりも損失係数ηの数値が大きい値を示した。
プラスチゾル組成物に発泡剤としてマツモトマイクロスフェアーFN-78Dを用いることで、実施例16は同じアクリル系重合体P-6を用いた実施例6よりも損失係数ηの数値が大きい値を示した。
Claims (15)
- アクリル系単量体混合物(a)を重合して重合体(A)を得る工程(1)と、
前記重合体(A)を含む分散液中でアクリル系単量体混合物(b)を重合して重合体(B)を形成させ、前記重合体(A)及び前記重合体(B)を含むアクリル系重合体(P)を得る工程(2)とを含むアクリル系重合体(P)の製造方法であって、
前記アクリル系単量体混合物(a)に含まれる単量体の合計100mol%中、メタクリル酸t-ブチルの含有率が8~32mol%であり、
前記重合体(A)の溶解度パラメータ(SPA)が19.90(J/cm3)1/2以上であり、前記重合体(A)のガラス転移温度が90℃以上であり、
前記重合体(B)の溶解度パラメータ(SPB)と前記溶解度パラメータ(SPA)との関係が、下記式(1)を満たす、アクリル系重合体(P)の製造方法。
0.05≦(SPB)-(SPA)≦0.55・・・(1) - 前記アクリル系単量体混合物(a)及び前記アクリル系単量体混合物(b)の質量比が、[アクリル系単量体混合物(a)の質量]/[アクリル系単量体混合物(b)の質量]で表して、98/2~65/35である、請求項1に記載のアクリル系重合体(P)の製造方法。
- 前記アクリル系重合体(P)の質量平均分子量が50,000から1,000,000である、請求項1に記載のアクリル系重合体(P)の製造方法。
- 請求項1に記載の製造方法から得られるアクリル系重合体(P)。
- 下記測定方法でシート状試験片を作製してその動的粘弾性を測定した場合、動的粘弾性の温度依存性のチャートにおいて、30~105℃の範囲に0.7以上のtanδのピークを少なくとも1つ有するアクリル系重合体(P)。
[測定方法]
アクリル系重合体(P)100質量部に対してジイソノニルフタレート100質量部、及び酸化カルシウム2.5質量部を添加し均質に混合分散させ、1mm厚にキャストして130℃において30分の加熱を行ってシート状試験片を作製し、前記試験片の動的粘弾性を周波数1Hzにて-50~150℃の範囲で測定する。 - 重合体(A)及び前記重合体(A)を被覆する重合体(B)を含む多層構造を有するアクリル系重合体(P)であって、
前記重合体(A)を構成する単量体単位の合計を100mol%とした場合、メタクリル酸メチル単位68~92mol%、メタクリル酸t-ブチル単位を8~32mol%、その他の単量体単位を30mol%以下含み、重合体(B)を構成する単量体単位の合計を100mol%とした場合、メタクリル酸メチル単位80mol%以上、その他の単量体単位を20mol%以下含み、前記重合体(A)及び前記重合体(B)の質量比が、[重合体(A)の質量]/[重合体(B)の質量]で表して、98/2~65/35である、アクリル系重合体(P)。 - 請求項4~6のいずれか一項に記載のアクリル系重合体(P)を含むプラスチゾル組成物。
- 請求項4に記載のアクリル系重合体(P)及び可塑剤を含むプラスチゾル組成物。
- 前記可塑剤としてフタル酸ジアルキルエステルを含む、請求項8に記載のプラスチゾル組成物。
- 前記可塑剤としてフタル酸アルキルベンジルエステルを更に含む、請求項9に記載のプラスチゾル組成物。
- 請求項4に記載のアクリル系重合体(P)、可塑剤及び充填剤を含むプラスチゾル組成物。
- 前記充填剤として、金マイカ、白マイカ、及びワラストナイトから選ばれる少なくとも一種を含む、請求項11に記載のプラスチゾル組成物。
- 請求項4に記載のアクリル系重合体(P)、可塑剤、充填剤及び接着剤を含むプラスチゾル組成物。
- 請求項4に記載のアクリル系重合体(P)、可塑剤、充填剤、接着剤、及び発泡剤を含むプラスチゾル組成物。
- アンダーコートに用いられる請求項8~14のいずれか一項に記載のプラスチゾル組成物。
