Further, since the stress generated when an external force is applied to the panel building material is dispersed, the installation strength of the panel building material is also increased. In addition, the groove and rail material are not exposed on the front side of the panel building material, and the appearance is good.
- the undercut portion 5a with which the flange portion 6f of the claw portion 6B of the rail material engages is provided so as to face the center side of the panel building material (the center side of the plate) from the groove 5.
- FIG. 20 shows an embodiment in which the rail material 6 ′′ is attached to the panel building material 1 in which the undercut portion 5 a is provided on the plate center side from the groove 5.
- the panel building material 1 when pressure is applied to the center side of the panel building material 1 as indicated by an arrow P, the panel building material 1 is deformed in a direction in which only the center side is away from the main piece portion 6a rather than near L in the figure. Since L in this case is near the side of the groove 5 on the center side of the plate, the area of the portion that is about to be separated from the main piece 6a is small, and the stress generated in the vicinity of the undercut portion 5a is small.
- FIG. 21 shows a comparative example in which the rail material 6E is attached to the panel building material 1E in which the undercut portion 5a is provided from the groove 5 toward the plate outer side (the outer edge side of the panel building material 1E).
- the flange portion 6f of the rail material 6E protrudes from the claw portion 6B toward the outside of the plate and engages with the undercut portion 5a.
- Other configurations of the panel building material 1E and the rail material 6E are the same as those of the panel building material 1 and the rail material 6 '' of FIG.
