Definitions
- the present invention relates to a recording apparatus such as an ink jet printer.
- Patent Document 1 describes an example of a recording apparatus for supplying ink in a liquid container provided outside the housing to a recording head provided inside the housing.
- the recording apparatus is provided with a case which is located outside the housing and attached to the side wall of the housing.
- a liquid container is accommodated in the case, and a supply tube connected to the liquid container includes a through hole provided on the side wall of the case and a through hole provided on the side wall of the casing. And is connected to the recording head. Then, the recording head ejects the ink supplied from the liquid container to the medium such as a sheet, whereby the recording is performed on the medium.
- a relay is provided in a housing, the relay and the liquid container are connected via a supply tube, and the relay and the recording head are also connected via another supply tube.
- maintenance may be performed after the case is displaced relative to the case, for example, by removing the case from the case.
- the supply tube is removed from the liquid container or the supply tube is removed from the connection target such as the recording head or the relay, ink leakage may occur in the case or the case, and the load on maintenance There is a risk that it will increase.
- a recording apparatus for achieving the above object is provided in a case, a recording head provided in the case, which ejects liquid to a medium to perform recording, and provided outside the case and removed from the side wall of the case And a supply tube for supplying the liquid in the liquid container stored in the case to the recording head, and the supply tube passes through the side wall of the housing.
- the present invention is premised on a recording apparatus which is provided with a through hole of 1, and a side wall of the case facing the side wall of the casing is provided with a second through hole through which the supply tube passes.

- one of the first through hole and the second through hole is expanded more than the other of the first through hole and the second through hole.
- the expanded through holes are also referred to as “expanded through holes”. Therefore, even if the case is displaced relative to the housing, the supply tube is less likely to be caught on the peripheral edge of the extended through hole. As a result, it is possible to increase the relative displacement of the case with respect to the case in a state in which the connection between the liquid container and the connection target in the case is maintained via the supply tube. This makes it easy to form a large work space between the case and the housing, and facilitates maintenance of the recording apparatus. Therefore, the case is relatively displaced with respect to the housing in a state where the connection between the liquid container provided outside the housing and the connection target provided in the housing is maintained. Thus, the ease of maintenance can be enhanced.

Do. At this time, since the second through hole is expanded to the other side in one direction, the supply tube is less likely to be caught on the periphery of the second through hole. Therefore, the relative displacement of the case with respect to the case can be increased while maintaining the connection between the liquid container and the connection target in the case via the supply tube.
- a restraining tool for restraining the supply tube in a curved state is provided in the case.
- the supply tube in the case can be pulled out of the case by releasing the restriction of the supply tube by the restraint.
- the case can be easily displaced away from the housing.
- the recording apparatus may be provided with a relay which is disposed in the housing and to which the supply tube is connected, and another supply tube which connects the relay and the recording head. According to this configuration, even if the case is displaced relative to the housing, the connection between the relay and the liquid container via the supply tube is maintained.

Further, in the gap, an integrated cable 52 extending from the first liquid storage unit 40 toward the integrated circuit board 121 (see FIG. 19) provided in the vicinity of the relay device 22 is located.
- each 1st supply tube 48 which passed said accommodation space 104 is bent upwards, and is connected to the repeater 22. Moreover, as shown in FIG. The connection between each first supply tube 48, 68 and the relay 22 is located above the connection between the relay 22 and each second supply tube 102.
- each first supply tube 48 which passes through the accommodation space 104 and is curved upward is restricted by the restraint member 110 in a region above the respective second supply tubes 102. It is bundled.
- the restraining member 110 includes a tube restraining portion 111 for restraining each of the first supply tubes 48, and a cable support portion 112 for supporting the individual cables 70 introduced into the housing 21 from the second liquid storage unit 60. And a wire winding portion 113 around which the electric wire 71 extending from the second liquid storage unit 60 side is wound.
- the wire 71 may be, for example, a wire connected to a sensor for detecting whether the lid 62 is opened in the second liquid storage unit 60.
- the tube restraint portion 111 can be in the open state and the closed state. That is, each first supply tube 48 is assembled to the tube restraint portion 111 when the tube restraint portion 111 is in the open state. Then, by closing the tube restraint portion 111 in this state, each first supply tube 48 is restrained by the restraint member 110.
- a leg portion 114 is provided below the tube restraint portion 111 in the restraint member 110.
- the restraint member 110 is supported by the casing frame 80 in a slidable manner through the legs 114.
- each 1st supply tube 48 in the housing casing 21
- a space forming member 105 is disposed below each of the first supply tubes 48 routed around in the housing 21, and the space forming members 105 support each of the first supply tubes 48.
- the second partition member 107 is disposed above the first supply tubes 48, and the space forming member 105 supporting the first supply tubes 48 is fixed to the second partition member 107.
- the integrated cable 52 is fixed to the upper surface of the second partition member 107.
- the first partition member 106 is disposed above the second partition member 107, and the second partition member 107 is disposed so that the integrated cable 52 is sandwiched by the partition plate portion 106A and the second partition member 107. It is fixed to the first partition member 106.
- a relay circuit board 120 to which an individual cable 70 extending from the second liquid storage unit 60 is electrically connected is provided in front of the relay 22.

- the integrated circuit board 121 is electrically connected to the relay circuit board 120 through the connection cable 122.
- the integrated circuit board 121 is electrically connected to a control device (not shown) via a cable (not shown). That is, various information gathered on the integrated circuit board 121 is transmitted to the control device via the cable.
- the first liquid storage unit 40 In the first liquid storage unit 40, the restraint of each first supply tube 48 by the restraint 49 is released, and the integrated cable 52 is removed from the relay substrate 51. In addition, the bolt attaching the first liquid storage unit 40 to the housing 21 is removed. In this state, for example, the first liquid storage unit 40 is slid forward with respect to the housing 21. In this case, since the through hole 47 of the case 41 is a long hole extended rearward, even if each first supply tube 48 is displaced backward in the through hole 47, each first supply tube 48 It is difficult to abut the rear edge of the through hole 47. That is, it is possible to slide the first liquid storage unit 40 forward significantly.
- the first liquid storage unit 40 is separated from the housing 21 so that the rear end is separated from the housing 21.
- the liquid storage unit 40 is relatively rotated.
- each of the first supply tubes 48 in the first liquid storage unit 40 is released from the restraint by the restraint 49, the first supply tubes 48 of the first liquid storage unit 40 remain connected to the liquid container 30. It is pulled out of case 41 according to relative displacement from case 21. Therefore, the amount of rotation of the first liquid storage unit 40 can be increased. As a result, a large work space is formed on the side of the housing 21.
- the first liquid storage unit 40 prior to the rotation of the first liquid storage unit 40, the first liquid storage unit 40 is slid forward. That is, in a state in which the rotation shaft of the first liquid storage unit 40 is brought close to the through hole 47 provided in the case 41 of the first liquid storage unit 40, the first liquid storage unit 40 is rotated. The Rukoto. Therefore, as compared with the case where the rotation shaft is separated from the through hole 47, the amount of each first supply tube 48 drawn out from the inside of the case 41 with the rotation of the first liquid storage unit 40. Some withdrawal amount is shortened. That is, the degree of curvature of each first supply tube 48 in the case 41 may not be too large.

- the through hole 47 provided in the case 41 of the first liquid storage unit 40 is expanded more than the through hole 87 provided in the side wall 82B of the cover member 82 constituting the housing 21. . Therefore, even if the first liquid storage unit 40 is rotated relative to the housing 21 or slid forward, the first supply tubes 48 are not easily caught on the periphery of the through hole 47. As a result, a first state in which the connection between the liquid storage body 30 stored in the first liquid storage unit 40 and the relay 22 in the housing 21 is maintained via the first supply tube 48. The relative displacement amount of the liquid storage unit 40 with respect to the housing 21 can be increased.

- the through hole 47 provided in the case 41 of the first liquid storage unit 40 is provided in front of the side wall forming member 44 and is expanded rearward. Therefore, after the first liquid storage unit 40 is relatively slid forward with respect to the housing 21, the first liquid storage unit 40 is pivoted in a direction to separate the rear portion from the housing 21. Thus, even if the space around the installation position of the recording apparatus 11 is narrow, the first liquid storage unit 40 can be appropriately rotated with respect to the housing 21. Therefore, the relative displacement of the first liquid storage unit 40 with respect to the housing 21 can be increased while maintaining the connection between the liquid container 30 and the relay 22 via the first supply tube 48. it can.
- each first supply tube 48 is restrained in a curved state by the restraint 49. Therefore, interference between the integrated cable 52 and the first supply tube 48 or the second supply tube 102 in the housing 21 can be suppressed.
- the partition member 103 is configured by the first partition member 106 and the second partition member 107, and the integrated cable 52 is interposed between the first partition member 106 and the second partition member 107. Is placed.
- the partition member 103 By configuring the partition member 103 with the first partition member 106 and the second partition member 107 in this manner, the configuration in which the integrated cable 52 is disposed in the partition member 103 can be easily realized.
- both the first partition member 106 and the second partition member 107 are made of metal. Therefore, the superposition of the electrical noise on the signal flowing to the integrated cable 52 can be suppressed.
- the area where the second supply tube 102 is located and the area where the integrated cable 52 is located are partitioned by the first partition member 106. Therefore, even if the second supply tube 102 follows and deforms as the carriage 23 moves in the scanning direction X, the interference between the second supply tube 102 and the integrated cable 52 is avoided by the first partition member 106. be able to.

Abstract
