Definitions
- the present invention relates to a rubber composition for a tire and a pneumatic tire using the same.
- an object of this invention is to provide the rubber composition for tires which is excellent in a rubber physical property.
- the present inventors have found that rubber properties are excellent by using a specific composite silica with respect to a diene rubber, and have completed the present invention. That is, the present invention provides the following rubber composition for tires and a pneumatic tire using the same.
- Diene rubber First block obtained by polymerizing a first block obtained by polymerizing a first monomer containing at least a (meth) acrylate having a hydroxyl group, and at least one second monomer selected from the group consisting of styrene, a derivative thereof and isoprene. Containing a block copolymer having two blocks and a composite silica having silica; The composite silica is produced in an organic solvent in the presence of the silica; A rubber composition for tires, wherein the amount of the composite silica is 10 to 200 parts by mass with respect to 100 parts by mass of the diene rubber. 2. 2. The rubber composition for tires according to 1 above, wherein the first block covers the surface of the silica. 3. 3.
- the composite silica is produced by polymerizing the block copolymer in the presence of the silica in the organic solvent, or the silica and the block copolymer are mixed in the organic solvent.
- the tire rubber composition and pneumatic tire of the present invention are excellent in rubber physical properties.
- FIG. 1 is a photograph obtained by observing and photographing the silica used in producing the composite silica in the example of the present invention at a magnification of 4000 with a transmission electron microscope.
- FIG. 2 is a photograph of the composite silica Run-8 produced in the present invention, observed with a transmission electron microscope at a magnification of 5000 times.
- FIG. 3 is a chart showing the results of measuring the mass change of the composite silica Run-0 produced in the present invention by thermogravimetric analysis.
- FIG. 4 is a partial cross-sectional view schematically showing an example of an embodiment of the pneumatic tire of the present invention.
- the rubber composition for tires of the present invention Diene rubber, First block obtained by polymerizing a first block obtained by polymerizing a first monomer containing at least a (meth) acrylate having a hydroxyl group, and at least one second monomer selected from the group consisting of styrene, a derivative thereof and isoprene. Containing a block copolymer having two blocks and a composite silica having silica; The composite silica is produced in an organic solvent in the presence of the silica; In the tire rubber composition, the amount of the composite silica is 10 to 200 parts by mass with respect to 100 parts by mass of the diene rubber.
- the composite silica has a block copolymer, it is possible to suppress the hydrophilicity of the silica and to impart hydrophobicity to the silica, whereby the silica is compatible with the diene rubber. It is considered that it is possible to suppress the aggregation of silica.
- the first block of the block copolymer covers at least part or all of the surface of the silica to suppress the hydrophilicity of the silica, and the composite silica has the second block to impart hydrophobicity to the silica. It is thought that.
- the first block of the block copolymer used in the rubber composition of the present invention has a hydroxyl group and an ester bond derived from a (meth) acrylate having a hydroxyl group. For this reason, if there is no silica in the system at the time of producing the composite silica, the block copolymer (or the first block) is usually dispersed and / or suspended in an organic solvent. However, in the present invention, since the silica is present in the system for producing the composite silica, the block copolymer (or the first block) is not dispersed and / or suspended in the organic solvent, but rather the silica. Easy to coat the surface.
- silica can have silanol groups and / or siloxy bonds, it can be blocked by the affinity between the silica and the first block and / or by reducing the surface free energy of the composite silica to the outside. This is because the copolymer (or the first block) is considered to cover the surface of silica. Such a coating is formed by some interaction (for example, hydrogen bonding) between the hydroxyl group and ester bond of the block copolymer (or the first block) and the silanol group and siloxy bond of the silica and / or the silica and the first bond. Presumed to be due to adsorption with one block. Even if the mechanism is different from the above, it is within the scope of the present invention.
