- the effect of the dynamic damper device depends on the number of rotations determined according to the specifications (for example, the lock rotation number that invalidates the dynamic damper mechanism).
- the predetermined number of rotations may change due to manufacturing errors of members constituting the dynamic damper device.
- the dynamic damper device is connected to the intermediate member, and the elastic member is arranged between the dynamic damper device and the output rotating member. In addition, since the outer peripheral side torsion spring 32 that can take a long distance in the circumferential direction acts in series, a wider torsion angle can be secured. This means that the torsional characteristics can be further reduced in rigidity, and vibration absorption / damping performance can be further improved.
- the difference between the characteristics E2 and E3 in the low speed range is due to the magnitude of the hysteresis torque in the hysteresis torque generating mechanism 53. That is, the characteristic E2 is when the hysteresis torque is relatively large, and the characteristic E3 is when the hysteresis torque is relatively small.
- the rotational speed fluctuation of the turbine is small when the engine speed is lower than 1200 rpm, becomes maximum near 1500 rpm, and gradually decreases when the engine speed is higher.
- the rotational speed fluctuation of the turbine shows a minimum value smaller than the characteristic E2 when the engine speed exceeds 1200 rpm, and becomes the maximum exceeding the characteristic E2 near 1600 rpm.
- a one-dot chain line indicates a case where a torsion spring as a damper mechanism is not provided on the output side of the dynamic damper device, and a solid line indicates that a torsion spring as a damper mechanism is provided on the output side of the dynamic damper device. Shows the case.
- the rotational speed fluctuation of the turbine is smaller when the hysteresis torque is smaller in the engine speed range where the engine speed is low, and is smaller when the hysteresis torque is greater in the intermediate speed range. Further, in the high rotation speed range, the influence of the hysteresis torque on the turbine rotation speed fluctuation is small.
- the hysteresis torque generating mechanism 53 is configured such that the hysteresis torque changes depending on the rotation speed range. Specifically, the hysteresis torque generated by the hysteresis torque generating mechanism 53 is small in the region where the engine speed is low, and gradually increases in the middle and high speed regions.
- the centrifugal force acting on the slider 50 is relatively small in the low rotational speed range. For this reason, as shown in ⁇ normal time> of FIG. 11A, the slider 50 is urged toward the inner peripheral side by the urging force of the spring 52. In such a state, when the dynamic damper device 36 operates and the damper plate 47 and the inertia ring 48 rotate relative to each other, the claws 47b of the damper plate 47 relatively move on the outer peripheral side of the outer peripheral surface 50b of the slider 50. .
- the angular range (torsion angle) of the relative rotation of the damper plate 47 is regulated by the claw 47b coming into contact with the outer peripheral surface 50b of the slider 50.
- the torsion angle is the maximum ⁇ 1.
- the claw 47b smoothly moves outward from the slider 50, so the hysteresis torque in this case is small.
- the claw 47b strongly contacts the outer peripheral surface 50b of the slider 50, so that a hysteresis torque larger than the hysteresis torque in the low rotation speed region is generated.
- the slider 50 moves further to the outer peripheral side against the urging force of the spring 52 and enters a state as shown in ⁇ at the time of locking> in FIG.
- the claw 47 b fits into the lock portion 50 c of the outer peripheral surface 50 b of the slider 50. That is, the relative rotation between the claw 47b (that is, the damper plate 47) and the inertia ring 48 is prohibited and is locked. For this reason, in the state shown in FIG.11 (c), the hysteresis torque in the dynamic damper apparatus 36 becomes infinite.
- the characteristic of the turbine rotational speed fluctuation is the characteristic E3 in the low rotational speed range and the characteristic E2 in the middle rotational speed range to the high rotational speed range. For this reason, the turbine rotational speed fluctuation can be kept small in the entire engine speed range.
- the lock rotation speed at which the relative rotation between the damper plate 47 and the inertia ring 48 is prohibited can be set by the weight of the component including the inertia ring 48 or the like.
- an error occurs in the lock rotation speed due to a manufacturing error or the like. If an error occurs in the lock rotation speed, rotation fluctuation due to secondary resonance cannot be effectively suppressed.
- the dynamic damper device 36 is fixed to the intermediate member 34, and an inner peripheral torsion spring 33 for suppressing vibration is provided between the dynamic damper device 36 and the turbine hub 17. Due to the action of the inner peripheral side torsion spring 33, the peak becomes lower as shown by comparison with the one-dot chain line and the solid line in the characteristic E3 in FIG. 10, and therefore, the rotational fluctuation increases even if an error occurs in the lock rotational speed. Can be suppressed.
- FIG. 12 shows a torque converter 1 ′ having a lock-up device 7 ′ according to a second embodiment of the present invention.
- the engine is arranged on the left side of FIG. 12, and the transmission is arranged on the right side of FIG.
- OO shown in FIG. 12 is the rotation axis of the torque converter and lockup device 7 ′.
- another dynamic damper device 60 is provided in a turbine (turbine hub).
- the configuration is the same as in the first embodiment. Accordingly, the same members are denoted by the same reference numerals as in the first embodiment, and description thereof is omitted.
- the output-side dynamic damper device 60 is fixed to the turbine hub 17 by the rivets 18 together with the turbine shell 15 and the driven plate 35. Similar to the dynamic damper device 36 fixed to the intermediate member 34, the output-side dynamic damper device 60 includes a damper plate 62, an inertia ring 63, a plurality of torsion springs 64, and a plurality of sliders (not shown). And a side plate 66 and a spring (not shown). The configuration of the dynamic damper device 60 is the same as that of the first embodiment except for specific dimensions including weight.
- the damper plate 62 has an inner peripheral portion fixed to the turbine hub 17 by the rivet 18, and an outer peripheral portion extending between the intermediate member 34 and the turbine 4.
- the inertia ring 63 is supported by the side plate 66 and is disposed between the intermediate member 34 and the turbine 4.
- the side plate 66 is fixed to the damper plate 62 with rivets 68, and supports the inertia ring 63 as described above.
- the slider and the spring are not shown in FIG. 12, it is the same as the slider and the spring of the first embodiment except for the size and the spring constant. Further, the hysteresis torque generating mechanism has the same configuration as that of the first embodiment.
- the lock rotation number is set to be higher than that of the dynamic damper device 36 fixed to the intermediate member 34.
- each of the plurality of outer peripheral side torsion springs 32 and inner peripheral side torsion springs 33 is configured such that two torsion springs act in series. It is not limited. Therefore, the float member 42 is not an essential configuration in the present invention.
- the dynamic damper device is fixed to the intermediate member connecting the outer peripheral side torsion spring and the inner peripheral side torsion spring, but the arrangement of the dynamic damper device is not limited to this.
- the dynamic damper device may be fixed to a float member for causing two outer peripheral torsion springs to act in series.
- the dynamic damper device may be fixed to a member for causing the two inner peripheral side torsion springs to act in series.
- a torsion spring as a damper mechanism on the output side of the dynamic damper device, secondary resonance can be suppressed.
- the configuration for connecting the dynamic damper device to the intermediate member is not limited to the configuration of the above embodiment.
- teeth, claws, and notches may be formed on the intermediate member and the member constituting the dynamic damper device, and both may be connected.
- the hysteresis torque generation mechanism is not limited to the above embodiment.
- the lock mechanism for prohibiting relative rotation between the damper plate and the inertia ring is not limited to the above embodiment.
- the elastic member is constituted by a coil spring, but an elastic member made of other resin or the like may be used.
- the dynamic damper device can be more effectively operated by avoiding the secondary resonance of the dynamic damper device, the rotational fluctuation can be suppressed, and particularly low fuel consumption can be achieved.

Abstract
