Definitions
- the present invention relates to a wave gear device provided with a cup-shaped or top hat-shaped flexible external gear.
- the present invention relates to a wave gear device in which the lubricant filling volume inside the flexible external gear is significantly reduced.
- Known wave gear devices include a cup-shaped wave gear device provided with a cup-shaped flexible external gear, and a top hat wave gear device provided with a silk-hat-shaped flexible external gear.
- the cup-shaped flexible external gear external teeth are formed on the outer peripheral surface portion of the portion on the front open end side of the non-circularly deflectable cylindrical body, and the radial opening is formed on the rear open end.
- An inwardly extending diaphragm is formed, and a disk-like or annular boss is formed on the inner peripheral edge of the diaphragm. The diaphragm and the boss correspond to the bottom of the cup shape.
- the flexible external gear is fastened and fixed to a member such as a load side member via a boss.
- external teeth are formed on the outer peripheral surface portion of the front open end of the cylindrical body portion, and a radially outwardly extending diaphragm is formed at the rear open end.
- An annular boss is formed on the outer peripheral edge of the diaphragm. The diaphragm and the boss correspond to a silk hat shaped wedge portion.
- Patent Document 1 proposes a method of arranging an oil tank inside a flexible external gear. Fine holes are formed in the outer peripheral surface of the oil tank and the like. When the oil tank rotates with the flexible external gear, the oil stored inside the tank is discharged from the hole into the internal space of the flexible external gear. Each part is lubricated by the lubricant discharged into the internal space.
- a large internal space is formed inside the cup-shaped or top hat-shaped flexible external gear. That is, the inside of the cylindrical body of the flexible external gear remains as a large internal space except for the portion where the wave generator is mounted. Lubricants (oil, grease) need to be filled to fill this large internal space so that the contacts of the wave gear device can be lubricated regardless of the driving posture. For this reason, the filling amount of the lubricant increases, and the risk of the lubricant leaking out is also high.
- the amount of lubricant filled may be smaller than when the internal space is filled with the lubricant.
- the lubricant filled in the oil tank is discharged into the internal space of the flexible external gear, and supplied to the respective parts to be lubricated through the internal space. If the oil tank is smaller than the internal space, the lubricant discharged from the oil tank may diffuse in the internal space, so that sufficient lubricant may not be supplied to each portion to be lubricated.
- the object of the present invention is that the amount of lubricant filled in the internal space of the cup-shaped or top hat-shaped flexible external gear is small, and the lubricant can be reliably supplied to each lubrication target portion regardless of the driving posture. It is to propose a wave gear device.
- the wave gear device of the present invention is Rigid internal gear, A non-circularly deflectable cylindrical body, a diaphragm extending radially inward or outward from the rear open end of the cylindrical body, and a disk or circle formed on the inner or outer peripheral edge of the diaphragm
- a flexible external gear with an annular boss It is mounted inside the external tooth forming portion on the side of the front open end of the cylindrical body, the cylindrical body is bent in a non-circular shape, and the flexible external gear is used as the rigid internal gear.
- a wave generator for partially meshing with the gear and moving the meshing position of the two gears in the circumferential direction,
- a partition mechanism which rotates integrally with the flexible external gear, and partitions the internal space of the cylindrical body into a front internal space on the wave generator side and a rear internal space on the diaphragm side; , It is characterized by having.
- the internal space of the flexible external gear that is, the internal space of its cylindrical body portion, is divided by the partition mechanism into a front internal space and a rear internal space.
- the lubricant is loaded in the back interior space on the side of the wave generator where lubrication is required.
- the volume of the rear interior space is set so that the required volume of lubricant can be filled. The amount of lubricant can be reduced as compared with the case where the lubricant is filled to fill the internal space of the flexible external gear.
- the lubricant filled in the rear inner space is in direct contact with the parts to be lubricated (the contact parts of the wave generator, the contact parts between the wave generator and the inner peripheral surface of the flexible external gear, etc.) It will be in the state. Therefore, the lubricant can be reliably supplied to each portion to be lubricated.
- the divider mechanism rotates with the flexible external gear. Even when the partition mechanism is provided, the flexible external gear does not substantially generate an increase in resistance due to rotation. Therefore, the efficiency reduction of the wave gear device due to the provision of the partition mechanism can be avoided.
- the partition mechanism includes an elastic body that can be elastically deformed following the cylindrical body portion.
- the elastic body maintains contact with the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical body over the entire circumference at a portion between the wave generator and the diaphragm.
- the elastic body reliably seals between the front inner space and the rear inner space. Therefore, the lubricant filled in the rear inner space does not leak to the side of the front inner space.
- Each portion of the cylindrical body of the flexible external gear is a vibrating portion which is repeatedly flexed in the radial direction.
- the elastic body constantly in contact with the inner circumferential surface of the cylindrical body suppresses the generation of higher-order vibrations generated in the cylindrical body.
- the elastic body can also shift the natural frequency of the flexible external gear to suppress the occurrence of resonance.
- the partition mechanism may be configured to include the elastic body and a support member for supporting the support plate.
- a circular groove is formed on the outer peripheral surface of the support member along the outer peripheral surface, and the elastic body is attached to the circular groove.
- an end face of the support member facing the wave generator has a shape that applies a gradient of shear force to the lubricant filled in the front inner space.
- it may be a flat surface orthogonal to the central axis of the wave generator, or a conical concave surface centered on the position on the central axis.
- the support member rotates in synchronization with the flexible external gear, so no large force is applied. Therefore, nonferrous metals such as steel and aluminum, and plastics can be used as the material of the support member.
- the flexible external gear may be fastened and fixed to the output flange via its boss.
- these three members are coaxially fixed by the fastening bolt.
- the support member may be attached to the pressing member.
- the support member may be integrally formed on the pressing member (in other words, the support member and the pressing member may be a single member).
- the boss is coaxially fastened and fixed to the outer peripheral portion of the disk-shaped output flange. Therefore, the support member can be coaxially fastened and fixed to the central portion of the output flange by screw fastening or bolt fastening.
