板状体収納容器100は、板状体載置部材10、台座20、支柱30、移動制限部材40および進退機構50を有し、板状体、特に、液晶ディスプレイやプラズマディスプレイ等のフラットパネルディスプレイ(FPD)で使用されるガラス板が載置される。
台座20は、その下面の4隅に支柱30の先端と嵌合する支柱受け25を有する。

進退機構50を動作することによって、係合部材60を進退させて、移動制限部材40と板状体載置部材10との連結を強化する。即ち、レバー53を操作して、偏心カム52を回転させ、移動制限部材側板41と係合部材60の頭部62との距離を小さくする。この結果、頭部62は凹部18に挿入され、その底部に接触し、強固に固定される。
また、進退機構50によって係合部材60が進退可能であることで、移動制限部材40への衝撃を緩和し、係合部材60や貫通孔15の損傷を防止できる。例えば、輸送中の振動等に起因して、板状体載置部材10上で板状体Gが移動し移動制限部材40に衝突する可能性がある。この場合、衝突による力が係合部材60に印加され、この力によって、偏心カム52が回転し、係合部材60の突出量が変化し、衝撃を緩和される。

Claims (5)
- 板状体を載置する板状体載置部材と、
前記板状体載置部材を載置する台座と、
前記板状体の移動を制限する移動制限部材と、
前記移動制限部材を前記板状体載置部材の側板に脱着可能に連結し、かつ進退可能な連結機構と、を具備し、
前記連結機構が、
頭部を備え、前記移動制限部材に設けられる係合部材と、
前記側板に対して、前記係合部材を進退させる進退機構と、を有し、
前記側板が、連通する第1開口領域と第2開口領域とを有する開口部と、段差と、を備え、
前記第1開口領域の幅よりも前記第2開口領域の幅が狭く、前記頭部が前記第1開口領域を通過可能で、前記第2開口領域を通過不能であり、
前記段差が、前記頭部の、前記第2の開口領域から前記第1の開口領域への移動を制限する
