Since the gap between the inner peripheral surface of the cover portion 42a and the outer peripheral surface of the electric wire side housing portion 41 is sealed, the waterproof function of the connector housing 40 can be maintained. Thereby, waterproofing and double locking of the joint connector can be achieved at the same time.
- the connector housing 40 is preferably connected from the electric wire side housing portion 41 and the ground side housing portion 42, which is preferable in terms of component management.
- the protruding portions such as the lance 48 are not exposed to the outside of the connector housing 40, the risk of damage is reduced.
- the lance 48 locks the electric wire side terminal 20 by the lance displacement portion 29 in a state where the electric wire side terminal 20 is being accommodated in the accommodating portion 41 b of the electric wire side housing portion 41.
- the lance 48 abuts against the lance lock part 49 during the movement.
- the lance 48 prohibits the electric wire side housing portion 41 from moving from the first position where the electric wire side terminal 20 is temporarily held to the second position where the electric wire side terminal 20 is permanently locked. This reliably prohibits the electric wire side terminal 20 from moving from the first position to the second position in a state where the electric wire side terminal 20 is not completely accommodated in the accommodating portion 41b of the electric wire side housing portion 41. Can do.

Accordingly, it is possible to reliably inhibit the electric wire side housing portion from moving from the first position to the second position in a state where the electric wire side terminal is not completely accommodated in the accommodating portion of the electric wire side housing portion.
- the conductor portion side housing portion is insert-molded in a state where the terminal fitting portion of the conductor portion protrudes into the cover portion.
- the conductor portion side housing portion is manufactured by insert molding in a state where the terminal fitting portion of the conductor portion protrudes into the cover portion, so that the conductor portion in the conductor portion side housing portion penetrates. Then, the said conductor part side housing part and the conductor part are closely_contact
- the wire harness joint connector assembling method of the present invention is the above-described joint connector assembling method, wherein the housing, the wire-side terminal, and the waterproof plug of the joint connector are prepared, and the wire With the side housing portion fixed to the conductor portion side housing portion at the first position, the electric wire side terminal is inserted from the waterproof plug close-contact portion to be accommodated in the accommodating portion, and the waterproof plug is waterproofed A temporary holding step of bringing the wire-side terminal into contact with the inside of the housing portion by being brought into close contact with the stopper close-contact portion, and moving the wire-side housing portion toward the back of the cover portion; The side housing portion is fixed to the conductor portion side housing portion at the second position by the connecting portion, and the electric wire side housing portion and the front side are fixed.
- the gap between the conductor portion side housing portion is sealed with the seal member, and in this state, the movable piece is restrained by the movable piece lock portion to a position where the electric wire side terminal is locked, thereby the electric wire side terminal. And a main locking step of restraining the inside of the housing portion.
- the temporary holding step in a state where the electric wire side housing portion is fixed at the first position with respect to the conductor portion side housing portion, The movable piece that can be displaced between the retracted position in which the electric wire side terminal can be inserted into and removed from the accommodating portion after being retracted from the engaging position is not constrained to the engaging position by the movable piece lock portion.
- the temporary holding state is entered. Thereafter, when the electric wire side housing portion is fixed to the conductor portion side housing portion at the second position on the inner side of the cover portion, the movable piece is constrained to the locking position by the movable piece lock portion.
- the side terminal is constrained inside the housing portion by double locking by the movable piece and the movable piece locking portion, and is in a state of full locking. Thereby, it is possible to easily confirm whether or not the electric wire side terminal inside the housing is doubly locked by confirming whether or not the electric wire side housing portion is in the second position. .
