- FIG. 7 is a perspective view showing an appearance of a scraper of the screen printing apparatus according to the second embodiment of the present invention.
- FIG. 1 is a perspective view showing an appearance of a scraper 1 of a screen printing apparatus according to a first embodiment of the present invention.
- scraper both end portions 1b provided at both end portions are formed integrally with a scraper center portion 1a provided at the center portion. That is, the scraper 1 is integrally formed using, for example, a single metal plate such as stainless steel.
- the scraper 1 is used in a state in which the scraper central portion 1 a is set perpendicular to the screen plate 20.
- the material of the scraper 1 is not limited to metal, and other materials such as a resin material can be used as long as the function as a scraper can be obtained.
- the scraper central portion 1a has a trapezoidal shape composed of two side edges that form a hem-widening shape, and an upper base and a lower base that connect the tops of the side edges. That is, the scraper central portion 1a has a trapezoidal shape in which the length of the lower base is longer than the upper base.
- the width of the lower bottom of the scraper central portion 1 a is formed corresponding to the width of the printing pattern portion 20 a of the screen plate 20.
- a mounting portion 1c to a scraper holder (not shown) for attaching the scraper 1 to the screen printing apparatus extends upward in the surface direction of the scraper central portion 1a. Yes.
- the surface on the traveling direction X side of the scraper 1 is a surface (first contact surface) that comes into contact with the coated material. Further, when the scraper central portion 1 a is set on the screen plate 20, an attack angle ⁇ that is an angle between the first contact surface and the screen plate 20 is 90 degrees.
- the scraper both end portions 1b are refracted inward in the traveling direction X of the scraper 1 from each side of the scraper central portion 1a, and are formed in a planar shape having a substantially rectangular shape. That is, the scraper both end portions 1b are refracted and extended from the trapezoidal side of the scraper central portion 1a to the first contact surface side.
- the surface on the traveling direction X side of the scraper 1 is a surface (second contact surface) in contact with the coated material.
- the scraper both end portions 1b are provided by being refracted from each side of the trapezoidal scraper central portion 1a, so that an inclination occurs with respect to the first contact surface of the scraper central portion 1a. In the direction of travel, the scraper 1 is inclined backward in the traveling direction X. Therefore, when the first contact surface of the scraper central portion 1 a is set perpendicular to the screen plate 20, the scraper both end portions 1 b have an inclination angle of 90 degrees or less with respect to the screen plate 20. The lower sides of the scraper both end portions 1b are flush with the lower bottom of the scraper central portion 1a so that the entire region can come into contact with the coating on the screen plate 20 when the scraper 1 slides on the screen plate 20. It is provided to be located.
- Such a scraper 1 is such that the first contact surface of the scraper central portion 1a is perpendicular to the screen plate 20 during screen printing, and the upper and lower bottoms of the scraper central portion 1a are the same as those of the scraper 1. It is set on the screen plate 20 so as to be orthogonal to the traveling direction X. Then, the scraper 1 is slid on the screen plate 20 in the advancing direction X of the scraper 1 so that the paste-like or ink-like applied material supplied on the screen plate 20 is uniformly coated on the screen plate 20. .
- the second contact surfaces of both end portions 1b of the scraper scrape off the coating material in the portion exceeding the print pattern portion 20a in the width direction of the scraper and move it to the center portion of the scraper center portion 1a in the width direction of the scraper 1.
- the width direction of the scraper is the direction of the lower bottom of the scraper central portion 1a.
- the scraper both ends 1b are refracted and extend from the side of the trapezoidal scraper central portion 1a, the scraper both ends 1b are inclined. Therefore, when the first contact surface of the scraper central portion 1 a is set perpendicular to the screen plate 20, the second contact surfaces of the scraper both end portions 1 b have an inclination angle of 90 degrees or less with respect to the screen plate 20.
- the application scraped at the vicinity of the boundary between the scraper central portion 1a and both ends of the scraper 1b and at both ends of the scraper 1b is shown in FIG.
- FIG. 2 is a diagram schematically illustrating the force applied to the coated material scraped off at both ends 1b of the scraper in the scraper 1 according to the first embodiment.
- FIG. 3 is a perspective view showing an external appearance of a conventional general scraper 11.
- flat scraper both end portions 11b provided at both end portions are formed integrally with a flat scraper central portion 11a provided at the central portion.
- the surface on the X direction side of the scraper is a contact surface with the coated material.
- the scraper both end portions 11b are refracted inward in the traveling direction X of the scraper 11 from each side of the scraper central portion 11a, and are formed in a planar shape having a substantially rectangular shape.
- an attachment portion 11c to a scraper holder (not shown) for attaching the scraper 11 to the screen printing apparatus extends upward in the surface direction of the scraper central portion 11a.
- the scraper 11 is used in a state where the scraper central portion 11 a and the scraper both end portions 11 b are set perpendicular to the screen plate 20.
- FIG. 4 is a perspective view showing the external appearance of the scraper 12 that combines a conventional general scraper and the technique disclosed in Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 4-3418446.
- this scraper 12 since the scraper both ends 12b have an inclination angle of 90 degrees or less with respect to the screen plate 20, an effect of reducing the coating material overflowing from the scraper both ends 12b to the outside of the scraper 12 can be expected.
- the major difference between the scraper 1 according to the first embodiment and the scraper 12 is the behavior of the coated material scraped off in the vicinity of the boundary between the scraper center and both ends of the scraper.
- FIG. 5 is a diagram for explaining the force applied to the coated material scraped near the boundary between the scraper central portion 1a and the scraper both ends 1b in the scraper 1 according to the first embodiment.
- FIG. 6 is a diagram for explaining the force applied to the applied material scraped near the boundary between the scraper central portion 12a and the scraper both ends 12b in the scraper 12.
- a slanting force is applied to the applied material scraped by the scraper both ends 12b with respect to the advancing direction X of the scraper.
- a downward force indicated by an arrow Y in FIG. 6 is applied to the coated material scraped near the boundary between the scraper central portion 12a and the scraper both ends 12b, but no lateral force is applied. For this reason, the coated material scraped off in this region only moves while being rolled with respect to the advancing direction X of the scraper.
- the coating material scraped off in the vicinity of the boundary between the scraper central portion 12a and the scraper both ends 12b is rolled and returned onto the screen plate 20, and again near the boundary between the scraper central portion 12a and the scraper both ends 12b. It is scraped off and only moves in the advancing direction X of the scraper. In this case, when the amount of the coating material scraped off by the scraper 12 increases, the coating material cannot be prevented from overflowing from the scraper both ends 12b to the outside of the scraper 12.
- the scraper 1 includes a trapezoidal scraper central portion 1a, and a scraper that refracts inward from the side of the scraper central portion 1a toward the traveling direction X of the scraper 1. It has both ends 1b. For this reason, the coating material scraped off at the boundary portion between the scraper central portion 1a and both ends of the scraper 1b moves to the central portion of the scraper central portion 1a in the width direction of the scraper 1 as shown by an arrow Y in FIG. The power to be added is added. This force increases as the coating is deposited higher.
- the coating material scraped off at the boundary between the scraper central portion 1a and the scraper both ends 1b is moved to the central portion of the scraper central portion 1a in the width direction of the scraper 1.
- the effect is greater than that of the scraper 12 that is simply a combination of the conventional scraper 11 and the technique disclosed in Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 4-341848. That is, in the scraper 1, compared with the scraper 12, the effect of reducing the coating material overflowing from the scraper both ends 1 b to the outside of the scraper 1 is greatly improved.
- the scraper 1 according to the first embodiment refracts and extends inward in the traveling direction X of the scraper 1 from the trapezoidal scraper central portion 1a and the sides of the trapezoidal scraper central portion 1a. It has the existing scraper both ends 1b. As a result, the scraper 1 moves the applied material scraped at the boundary portion between the scraper central portion 1a and the scraper both ends 1b toward the central portion of the scraper central portion 1a in the width direction of the scraper 1. Can be added. Therefore, according to the scraper 1 according to the first embodiment, it is possible to reliably reduce the coating material overflowing from the scraper both ends 1b to the outside of the scraper 1.
- the scraper 1 according to the first embodiment is integrally formed by changing the shape of the scraper, instead of adding new parts to the existing configuration as proposed in Patent Documents 1 to 4. For this reason, it can be simply and inexpensively produced from, for example, one sheet metal like a conventional general scraper.
- the contact surface with a coating material should just be provided with conditions as mentioned above. Therefore, the configuration of the rear surface side of the scraper 1, that is, the surface on the side opposite to the traveling direction X is not particularly limited.
- FIG. FIG. 7 is a perspective view showing an appearance of the scraper 2 of the screen printing apparatus according to the second embodiment of the present invention.
- the scraper 2 according to the second embodiment has a structure in which the scraper 1 according to the first embodiment is a basic configuration and the scraper central portion 2a is inclined so that the attack angle ⁇ is an acute angle. That is, the scraper 2 according to the second embodiment includes a trapezoidal scraper central portion 2a, and both end portions 2b of the scraper that are refracted inward from the side of the scraper central portion 2a toward the traveling direction X of the scraper 2. And have.
- a mounting portion 2c to a scraper holder (not shown) for mounting the scraper 1 to the screen printing apparatus is provided extending upward.
- the scraper central portion 2a has an acute attack angle ⁇ , which is an angle formed by the contact surface of the coated material with the screen plate 20 when it is set on the screen plate 20.
- the attack angle ⁇ is an acute angle
- the scraped coating is easy to roll, and the amount of coating in the pattern provided on the screen plate 20 is filled. Will increase. As a result, an effect that a desired printed shape can be easily obtained is obtained.
- the scraper 2 according to the second embodiment even if the attack angle ⁇ is an acute angle, the coated material is moved to the vicinity of the boundary between the scraper center 2a and the scraper both ends 2b and the scraper both ends 2b to the scraper center 2a.
- the effect to make is the same as the scraper 1 according to the first embodiment. Therefore, according to the scraper 2 according to the second embodiment, similarly to the scraper 1 according to the first embodiment, the coating material overflowing from the scraper both ends 2b to the outside of the scraper 2 can be reliably reduced.
- the scraper 2 according to the second embodiment is also integrally formed by changing the shape of the scraper instead of adding a new part to the existing configuration as proposed in Patent Documents 1 to 4. For this reason, it can be simply and inexpensively produced from, for example, one sheet metal like a conventional general scraper.
- the scraper of the screen printing apparatus according to the present invention is useful for reducing material loss and cost in screen printing.
