Abstract
Description
特許文献1のマッサージ装置は、板状に形成された左右一対のマッサージ部材を具備する揉み手段が、左右方向に並んで一対設けられた構成となっている。
左右の各揉み手段において、左右一対のマッサージ部材は下肢をマッサージするためのものであって、下肢の長さ方向に対して互いに逆向きに傾斜した状態で配備されている。また、これら左右のマッサージ部材を貫通するようにして、軸心を左右に向けた回転軸が設けられており、この回転軸が回転すると、両マッサージ部材の一端部同士が近づくと共に他端部同士が遠ざかり、続けて、両マッサージ部材の一端部同士が遠ざかると共に他端部同士が近づくといった動作を繰り返すようになっている。
また一方で、左右のマッサージ部材間に下肢を入れたときに、下肢(特にふくらはぎ)が細い使用者であれば、所定のマッサージ効果が得づらい状況が発生し、逆に、下肢が太い使用者であれば、過大なマッサージ力が生じることとなる。このように、使用者の下肢の太さによってマッサージ効果に差が出ないようにするための工夫が要求されていた。
すなわち、本発明におけるマッサージ装置は、施療部を挟み込むように配備された固定側マッサージ部材及び可動側マッサージ部材を備えたマッサージ部と、前記マッサージ部の可動側マッサージ部材の基端側を貫通するように設けられた回転軸と、前記回転軸を回転駆動する駆動部と、前記回転軸の回転力を前記固定側マッサージ部材に対する可動側マッサージ部材の近接離反動作に変換する左右一対の変換部と、前記固定側マッサージ部材を可動側マッサージ部材に近接離反する方向で位置調節可能にする幅調節機構と、を備えていることを特徴とする。
前記固定側マッサージ部材と可動側マッサージ部材との間であって両部材の基端側には、施療部を支える支持部材が設けられており、前記支持部材は、固定側マッサージ部材が位置調整において移動する範囲外であって当該移動する範囲に近接して配設されていてもよい。
前記回転軸は、固定側マッサージ部材を貫通すると共に、当該固定側マッサージ部材に対して回転自在に保持されているとよい。
前記固定側マッサージ部材及び可動側マッサージ部材は、厚み方向に弾性変形可能な板材で形成されていることは好ましい。
前記固定側マッサージ部材は、足部からふくらはぎ部に亘る領域を押圧可能な大きさで一体形成されていているとよい。
図1~図5は、本発明に係るマッサージ装置1の実施形態を示している。
図1に示すように、本実施形態においてマッサージ装置1は、下肢L(足La及びふくらはぎLb)を施療部としてマッサージ施術を行うものである。
以下の説明では、説明の便宜上、図3(B)の左右方向を実際の装置での右左方向(幅方向)と呼び、図3(B)の紙面に垂直な方向(図3(A)の右左方向)を実際の装置での前後方向と呼ぶ。これら装置説明における左右方向及び前後方向を図1及び図2に矢符によって付記する。また、図3(B)の上下方向を装置説明における上下方向と呼ぶ。
図2及び図4に示すように、ケーシング3内には、左右方向に所定間隔をおいて左右のマッサージ部7,7が配備されている。これら左右のマッサージ部7,7は、ケーシング3内で左右の切欠部2,2に各対応した配置とされており、これによって揉み機構8が構成されている。
まず、揉み機構8は、ケーシング3に形成された左右の切欠部2,2にそれぞれ対応するように設けられたマッサージ部7,7を有している。
マッサージ部7は、それぞれ、下肢Lを挟み込むように互いに所定間隔をおいて配備された固定側マッサージ部材15と可動側マッサージ部材16とを有している。左右一対のマッサージ部7,7において、固定側マッサージ部材15同士が左右方向の内側に寄り合うようにして配備されており、可動側マッサージ部材16同士が左右方向の外側に離れて配備されている。そのため、マッサージ部7に差し入れられた下肢Lは、固定側マッサージ部材15と可動側マッサージ部材16との間に挟み込まれるようになる。
このような固定側マッサージ部材15に対し、可動側マッサージ部材16は、下肢Lのうち、足Laをマッサージする位置に配置された下部可動体16Aと、この下部可動体16Aの上方に配置されて下肢LのふくらはぎLbをマッサージする上部可動体16Bとを、互いに別体で有している。この可動側マッサージ部材16(下部可動体16A及び上部可動体16B)についても、ナイロン板や板バネ等で形成されるか又は下肢Lを押圧する面に軟質系の素材が張り付けられた構造となっており、これによって可動側マッサージ部材16も、厚み方向に弾性変形可能となっている。
下部可動体16Aの下端側には、回転軸9の回転力を下部可動体16Aのマッサージ動作(うねり動作)に変換するための変換部12(下部変換部12)が設けられており、この下部変換部12に、軸心を左右方向へ向けた状態で回転軸9が貫通するようになっている。なお、回転軸9を下部回転軸9、変換部12を下部変換部12と表記することもある。
駆動部11は、両軸タイプ(モータ本体の両側へ駆動軸が突出するタイプ)の電動モータ20と、この電動モータ20の各駆動軸に割り当てて連結された2台の減速機21,22とを有している。
電動モータ20は、ケーシング3内の左右方向中央で、左右のマッサージ部7,7間に挟まれる配置とされ、且つ両駆動軸を上下方向へ振り分けるようにして設けられている。言い換えるならば、左右の固定側マッサージ部材15,15に挟まれる位置に電動モータ20が配備される。電動モータ20は、上側の駆動軸が上方ほど後方となるように傾斜し、下側の駆動軸が下方ほど前方となるように傾斜して配設されている。
従って、固定側マッサージ部材15と可動側マッサージ部材16との間に下肢Lを入れたとき、下肢LのふくらはぎLbを支持部材30へ当接させることができ、使用者は安楽な姿勢をとれることになる。その上、上部回転軸10を回転させたとき、支持部材30は上部回転軸10の軸心を中心とした偏心回転をするので、下肢LのふくらはぎLbには前方に向かって押圧するようなマッサージ作用が加わる。
この支持部材61は、外周面における周方向及び軸方向の複数箇所で突出する突起を有したドラム形に形成されたものとされている。この支持部材61は下部回転軸9に対し一体に回転するように取り付けられている。
上部変換部13は、上部回転軸10の軸方向中途部(可動側マッサージ部材16の上部可動体16Bを貫通している部分)で、上部回転軸10と一体回転するように固定された回転ボス部35と、この回転ボス部35の外周部に対して相対回転自在に嵌り込むハウジング部36と、回転ボス部35の回転に連れられてハウジング部36が一緒に回転するのを阻止する規制部37とを有している。
回転ボス部35には、当該回転ボス部35の端面に対し垂直ではなく所定角度で傾いた軸孔38が貫通形成されている。軸孔38に上部回転軸10が貫通しており、この上部回転軸10と回転ボス部35とは一体回転可能となっている。回転ボス部35の周縁には、上部回転軸10に対して傾斜状の無端軌道(カム面)39が形成されている。この無端軌道39の軸芯は上部回転軸10の軸芯に対して傾斜している。
左右のマッサージ部7,7に設けられる可動側マッサージ部材16の上部可動体16Bの相互間において、それぞれの回転ボス部35は、軸孔38の傾斜方向が互いに逆向きとなるようにして上部回転軸10に固定されている。そのため、無端軌道39についても、それぞれの回転ボス部35間で互いに逆向きに傾斜する関係とされている。
すなわち、前後のリブ(摺動溝43内)に邪魔されて係合突起42が左右移動のみを許容されるようになることで、可動側マッサージ部材16は、上部回転軸10の回転に連れて一緒に回転することが阻止される。その結果、上部回転軸10と一体回転する回転ボス部35と、この回転ボス部35にベアリングを介して嵌り込むハウジング部36との間に空転が生じ、ハウジング部36には、上部回転軸10の周りで左右方向へ振れ回転するような動きが伝えられることになる。このような動きが、可動側マッサージ部材16の上部可動体16Bに左右方向の揺動を生じさせ、これが固定側マッサージ部材15との間で、下肢LのふくらはぎLbに対するマッサージ動作(可動側マッサージ部材16の近接離反動作)となる。
図3(B)に示すように、幅調節機構14は、左右一対のマッサージ部7,7において固定側マッサージ部材15同士を左右方向に貫通する1本の幅調整回転軸17を有している。
なお、本実施形態における固定側マッサージ部材15の「固定」の意味は、下肢Lに対するマッサージ動作を行う際に、マッサージ部材が固定された状態であることを言うのであって、固定側マッサージ部材15が、幅調節機構14により幅方向に移動量Dで移動することまでを規制した「固定」の意味ではない。
この指標部材57は、ケーシング3の上面へ向けて突出し、その後、水平状態で後方へ折曲した指針部58を有している。これに対し、ケーシング3の上面部には、図1に示すように、固定側マッサージ部材15を位置調節のために移動させるのに合わせて、指標部材57と共に指針部58が移動するのを、上方から視覚的に確認できるようにする確認窓59が形成されている。
次に、本発明に係るマッサージ装置1の動作状況を説明する。
電動モータ20の駆動に伴い、下部変換部12を介して下部回転軸9が回転し、下部可動体16Aは、その前方上端部を固定側マッサージ部材15へ徐々に近接させ、且つ後方上端部を固定側マッサージ部材15から遠ざかるように動作する。
このような動きの繰り返しとして、可動側マッサージ部材16の下部可動体16Aは、前方上端部を左右方向の内方、すなわち、固定側マッサージ部材15の配備側へ近接したり、反対に、左右方向の外方、すなわち、固定側マッサージ部材15の配備側から離反する揺動を行う。この間、下部可動体16Aは、その前方上端部が僅かながら下降したり上昇したりを繰り返すこととなり、うねり状の立体的な動きになる。
その後、上部可動体16Bはその上方前端部を固定側マッサージ部材15から徐々に遠ざけ、且つ下方前端部を固定側マッサージ部材15に近接させるように動作する。
また、可動側マッサージ部材16において、下部可動体16Aが繰り返し行ううねり状の立体的な揺動と、上部可動体16Bが繰り返し行ううねり状の立体的な揺動とは、互いに同期・同調して行われるようになっている。
可動側マッサージ部材16は、下部可動体16Aと上部可動体16Bとに分離した構成であるので、下肢Lへのマッサージを、足LaとふくらはぎLbとに分けて各別に行えるものとなっている。そのため、下肢Lの形状やツボ位置などに応じた適切なマッサージが可能である。
操作ダイヤル51を回転操作することで、幅調整回転軸17が回転し、左右の固定側マッサージ部材15,15が相互近接方向又は相互離反方向に同じ量だけ移動することになる。
ところで、今回開示された実施の形態はすべての点で例示であって制限的なものではないと考えられるべきである。本発明の範囲は上記した説明ではなくて特許請求の範囲によって示され、特許請求の範囲と均等の意味及び範囲内でのすべての変更が含まれることが意図される。
また、このマッサージ装置1は、椅子型マッサージ装置のフットレストとして実施することも可能である。この場合には、ケーシング3の左右両側面に、左右方向で一軸配置となるようにして取付部を設け、これら両取付部を左右両外側から支持枠で挟持して、椅子型マッサージ装置の座部前方へ前後揺動自在に取り付ければよい。

- 前記幅調節機構の幅調整回転軸は、単一の軸体から構成されていることを特徴とする請求項2~9のいずれかに記載のマッサージ装置。
