Claims (4)
- 車両のステアリングホイールへエアバッグモジュールを取り付けるためのエアバッグモジュールの取り付け構造において、
車両の操舵機構と連結される芯金と;
エアバッグモジュールを収容し、前記芯金に対して位置決めされるハウジングと;を備え、
前記ハウジングには、前記芯金との相対的なXY方向の位置決めを行う位置決めピンが複数箇所に設けられると共に、Z方向の位置決め用の第1開口部が複数箇所に設けられ、
前記芯金には、前記ハウジングの位置決めピンが挿入される第2開口部が複数設けられると共に、前記ハウジングの前記第1開口部に挿入される突起が複数設けられ、
前記ハウジングの第1開口部のZ方向下縁部の位置が、前記芯金の前記第2開口部のZ方向における深さの範囲内に収まることを特徴とするエアバッグモジュールの取り付け構造。 - 前記位置決めピンは三角形の頂点を形成するように3カ所に設けられ、前記第2開口部は当該位置決めピンに対応して3カ所に設けられ、前記第1開口部は前記位置決めピンの外側で3角形の頂点を形成するように3カ所に設けられ、前記突起は当該第1開口部に対応して3カ所に設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のエアバッグモジュールの取り付け構造。
- 通常は、前記第1開口部の内部において前記突起が前記Z方向下縁部に接していることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載のエアバッグモジュールの取り付け構造。
- 前記ハウジングを覆う車内側のカバーの押圧動作によって前記ハウジングが押し下げられた時に上方に戻ろうとするような弾性力を付与するべく、前記位置決めピンの周囲にバネが設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1,2又は3に記載のエアバッグモジュールの取り付け構造。
