Description

硬化性樹脂組成物および成形体
 本発明は硬化性樹脂組成物および該硬化性樹脂組成物を成形してなる成形体に関する。さらに、かかる成形体の製造方法に関する。特に、光学部品の製造に有益な硬化性樹脂組成物に関する。
 従来から、レンズ等の光学部品を製造するための、硬化性樹脂組成物が採用されている。ここで用いられる硬化性樹脂組成物は、鋳型等に注入し、硬化させて成形する。硬化性樹脂組成物中に、プレポリマーと呼ばれる重合性基を有した重合体を含有することで、硬化収縮を低減させているものも知られている。
 このような硬化性樹脂組成物としては、特許文献1および特許文献2に記載のものが知られている。特許文献1に記載の硬化性樹脂組成物は、樹脂成分として、ウレタン樹脂を用いている。特許文献1に記載の硬化性樹脂組成物は、硬化による収縮が小さく、離型性がよく、耐傷性にも優れ、さらに、60℃での長期安定性にも優れている。しかしながら、吸水率が高いという問題がある。
 一方、特許文献2には、アダマンチルアクリレートを含む硬化性樹脂組成物が記載されている。特許文献2に記載の硬化性樹脂組成物は、透明性が高い。しかしながら、ガラス転移温度(Tg)が低いという問題がある。

 本発明は、光学部品等の作製に用いることができる硬化性樹脂組成物であって、光学特性、耐熱性および高い成形性を有するものを提供することを目的とする。
 かかる状況のもと、本願発明者が鋭意検討を行った結果、炭素原子からなる主鎖と、重合性不飽和結合基を有する側鎖に有し、かつ、主鎖または側鎖に環状構造を有する重合体(A)と、重合性不飽和基を有する化合物を含む硬化性樹脂組成物を採用することにより、上記課題を解決しうることを見出し、本発明を完成するに至った。具体的には、以下の手段により、達成された。
(1)炭素原子からなる主鎖と、重合性不飽和結合基を有する側鎖を有し、かつ、主鎖および/または側鎖に環状構造を有する重合体(A)と、重合性不飽和基を有する化合物を含む硬化性樹脂組成物。
(2)重合性不飽和基を有する化合物として、2つ以上の重合性不飽和基を有する化合物(B)を含む、(1)に記載の硬化性樹脂組成物。
(3)2つ以上の重合性不飽和基を有する化合物(B)が有する重合性不飽和基が、それぞれ、アクリロイル基、メタアクリロイル基、ビニル基およびアリル基から選択される、(2)に記載の硬化性樹脂組成物。
(4)2つ以上の重合性不飽和基を有する化合物(B)が脂環構造を有する、(2)または(3)に記載の硬化性樹脂組成物。
(5)重合性不飽和基を有する化合物として、1つの重合性不飽和基を有する化合物(C)を含む、(1)~(4)のいずれか1項に記載の硬化性樹脂組成物。
(6)1つの重合性不飽和基を有する化合物(C)が環状構造を有している、(5)に記載の硬化性樹脂組成物。
(7)重合体(A)が、下記一般式(1)で表される繰返単位および下記一般式(2)で表される繰返単位の少なくとも1種類の繰返単位を有することを特徴とする、(1)~(6)のいずれか1項に記載の硬化性樹脂組成物。

(14)重合体(A)の含有量が5~60質量%、2つ以上の重合性不飽和基を有する化合物(B)の含有量が20~90質量%、1つの重合性不飽和基を有する化合物(C)の含有量が0~40質量%、他の成分が5質量%以下であることを特徴とする(5)~(13)のいずれか1項に記載の硬化性樹脂組成物。
(15)光または熱の照射により硬化を開始する開始剤(D)を少なくとも2種類以上有していることを特徴とする(1)~(14)のいずれか1項に記載の硬化性樹脂組成物。
(16)硬化後の波長589nmにおける屈折率が1.45以上であり、アッベ数が45以上であり、波長589nmにおける厚さ1mm換算の光線透過率が75%以上であることを特徴とする(1)~(15)のいずれか1項に記載の硬化性樹脂組成物。
(17)硬化後のガラス転移温度が230℃以上であることを特徴とする(1)~(16)のいずれか1項に記載の硬化性樹脂組成物。
(18)(1)~(17)のいずれか1項に記載の硬化性樹脂組成物を成形してなることを特徴とする成形体。

 本発明により、光学特性、耐熱性および高い成形性を有する硬化性樹脂組成物を提供可能になった。
 以下において、本発明の内容について詳細に説明する。尚、本願明細書において「~」とはその前後に記載される数値を下限値および上限値として含む意味で使用される。
[硬化性樹脂組成物]
 本発明の硬化性樹脂組成物は、炭素原子からなる主鎖と、重合性不飽和結合基を有する側鎖を有し、かつ、主鎖および/または側鎖に環状構造を有する重合体(A)と、重合性不飽和基を有する化合物を含むみ、好ましくは、重合体(A)の少なくとも一種と、重合性不飽和基を有する化合物を少なくとも一種含む。ここで、重合性不飽和基を有する化合物としては、2つ以上の重合性不飽和基を有する化合物(B)および/または1つの重合性不飽和基を有する化合物(C)であり、少なくとも、2つ以上の重合性不飽和基を有する化合物(B)を含むことが好ましく、2つ以上の重合性不飽和基を有する化合物(B)および1つの重合性不飽和基を有する化合物(C)の両方を含むことがさらに好ましい。
 本発明の硬化性樹脂組成物は、単離後の重合体(A)を、上記重合性不飽和基を有する化合物に溶解させてもよいし、上記重合性不飽和基を有する化合物中で重合体(A)の合成を行うことにより調製してもよい。
[重合体(A)]
 本発明で用いる重合体(A)は、炭素原子からなる主鎖と、重合性不飽和結合基を有する側鎖を有し、かつ、主鎖または側鎖に環状構造を有することを特徴とする。
 ここで、重合体(A)は、前記重合体(A)が、下記一般式(1)で表される繰返単位および下記一般式(2)で表される繰返単位の少なくとも1種類の繰返単位を有していることが好ましい。

〔一般式(1)中、R1は、水素原子または置換基を表し、L1は二価の連結基または単結合を表し、環αは単環式または多環式の環を表す。〕
 一般式(1)中、R1は、水素原子またはアルキル基が好ましく、水素原子または炭素数1~4のアルキル基がより好ましく、水素原子またはメチル基がさらに好ましい。
 一般式(1)中、L1は、-CO-、-O-、-CH2-及びこれらの組み合わせからなる基から選択される二価の連結基、または、単結合であることが好ましく、-CO-、-O-、-CH2-及びこれらの組み合わせからなる基から選択される二価の連結基がより好ましい。L1は、主鎖に結合する側が、-C(=O)-O-であることが好ましい。
 一般式(1)中、αは、炭素数5~15の炭素原子を骨格とする環状構造であることが好ましく、下記群(1)から選択される構造を骨格とする環状構造であることがより好ましい。

 上記環状構造は、置換基を有していてもよいし、置換基を有していなくてもよい。置換基を有している場合、アルキル基が好ましく、炭素数1~3のアルキル基がより好ましく、メチル基がさらに好ましい。
 一般式(1)で表される繰返単位は、通常、重合性化合物の重合によって得られる。かかる重合性化合物の分子量は、100~500が好ましく、100~400がより好ましく、150~300がさらに好ましい。

 一般式(2)中、βは、炭素数5~10の炭素原子を骨格とする環状構造であり、下記群(2)から選択される構造を骨格とする環状構造であることがより好ましい。

 上記環状構造は、置換基を有していてもよいし、置換基を有していなくてもよい。置換基を有している場合、アルキル基、アリル基、オキソ基、ヒドロキシ基、シアノ基、ハロゲン原子が挙げられ、これらはさらにこれら基によって置換されていてもよい。置換基は、炭素原子、水素原子、酸素原子および窒素原子のいずれか1種以上から構成されることが好ましい。上記置換基は、炭素原子、酸素原子および窒素原子の合計原子数が、1~10個であることが好ましく、1~5個であることがより好ましい。
 一般式(2)で表される繰返単位は、通常、重合性化合物の重合によって得られる。かかる重合性化合物の分子量は、60~300が好ましく、70~250がより好ましく、80~200がさらに好ましい。
 本発明における重合体(A)は、さらに、下記一般式(3)で表される繰返単位を含むことが好ましい。

 R3は、水素原子またはアルキル基が好ましく、水素原子または炭素数1~4のアルキル基がより好ましく、水素原子またはメチル基がさらに好ましい。
 R4およびR5は、それぞれ、水素原子またはアルキル基が好ましく、水素原子または炭素数1~4のアルキル基がより好ましく、水素原子またはメチル基がさらに好ましく、水素原子が特に好ましい。
 R6は、水素原子またはアルキル基が好ましく、水素原子または炭素数1~4のアルキル基がより好ましく、水素原子またはメチル基がさらに好ましい。
 L3は、-CO-、-O-、-CH2-及びこれらの組み合わせからなる基から選択される二価の連結基であることが好ましい。L3は、-C(=O)-O-で表される構造を有することがより好ましい。
 一般式(3)で表される繰返単位は、通常、重合性化合物の重合によって得られる。かかる重合性化合物の分子量は、50~500が好ましく、70~400がより好ましく、90~300がさらに好ましい。
 重合体(A)は、通常、重合性化合物を含む重合性組成物を用いて、公知の方法によって合成することができる。例えば、ラジカル重合によって重合させてもよいし、イオン重合、または開環重合によって重合させてもよい。
 重合性組成物に含まれる重合性化合物成分は、一般式(1)で表される繰返単位および/または一般式(2)で表される繰返単位を構成する重合性化合物5~100質量%と、一般式(3)で表される繰返単位を構成する重合性化合物0~95重量%、他の重合性化合物5質量%以下で構成されることが好ましい。さらに、一般式(1)で表される繰返単位および/または一般式(2)で表される繰返単位を構成する重合性化合物は、5~95質量%であることが好ましく、30~90質量%であることがより好ましく、40~80質量%であることがさらに好ましい。一方、重合性組成物に含まれる重合性化合物中の、一般式(3)で表される繰返単位を形成することができる重合性化合物は、好ましくは、5~95質量%であり、より好ましくは、10~70質量%であり、さらに好ましくは、20~60質量%である。
 一般式(1)、一般式(2)、一般式(3)で表される繰返単位は、それぞれ、1種類のみを用いてもよいし、2種以上を組み合わせて用いてもよい。
 以下に、重合することによって一般式(1)で表される繰返単位を形成することができる重合性化合物の具体例を以下のA1-1~A1-24に、一般式(2)で表される繰返単位を形成することができる重合性化合物の具体例を以下のA2-1~A2-20に、一般式(3)で表される繰返単位を形成することができる重合性化合物の具体例を以下のA3-1~A3-5として挙げるが、本発明で採用することができるモノマーはこれらの具体例に限定されるものではない。

<共重合可能なモノマー>
 本発明で用いる重合体(A)は、重合することによって一般式(1)で表される繰返単位、一般式(2)で表される繰返単位、または一般式(3)で表される繰返単位を形成することができるモノマーとともに、他のモノマーを共重合させることにより製造してもよい。そのような他のモノマーとして、Polymer Handbook 2nd ed.,J.Brandrup,Wiley lnterscience (1975) Chapter 2 Page 1~483に記載のものなどを用いることができる。
 具体的には、例えば、スチレン誘導体、1-ビニルナフタレン、2-ビニルナフタレン、ビニルカルバゾール、アクリル酸、メタクリル酸、アクリル酸エステル類、メタクリル酸エステル類、アクリルアミド類、メタクリルアミド類、イタコン酸ジアルキル類、前記フマール酸のジアルキルエステル類またはモノアルキルエステル類等から選ばれる付加重合性不飽和結合を1個有する化合物等を挙げることができる。
 前記スチレン誘導体としては、スチレン、2,4,6-トリブロモスチレン、2-フェニルスチレン、4-クロロスチレン等が挙げられる。
 前記アクリル酸エステル類としては、アクリル酸メチル、アクリル酸エチル、アクリル酸プロピル、アクリル酸n-ブチル、アクリル酸tert-ブチル、クロロエチルアクリレート、2-ヒドロキシエチルアクリレート、トリメチロールプロパンモノアクリレート、ベンジルアクリレート、ベンジルメタクリレート、メトキシベンジルアクリレート、フルフリルアクリレート、テトラヒドロフルフリルアクリレート等が挙げられる。
 前記メタクリル酸エステル類としては、メタクリル酸メチル、メタクリル酸エチル、メタクリル酸プロピル、メタクリル酸ブチル、メタクリル酸tert-ブチル、クロロエチルメタクリレート、2-ヒドロキシエチルメタクリレート、トリメチロールプロパンモノメタクリレート、ベンジルメタクリレート、メトキシベンジルメタクリレート、フルフリルメタクリレート、テトラヒドロフルフリルメタクリレート等が挙げられる。
 前記アクリルアミド類としては、アクリルアミド、N-アルキルアクリルアミド(アルキル基としては炭素数1~3のもの、例えばメチル基、エチル基、プロピル基)、N,N-ジアルキルアクリルアミド(アルキル基としては炭素数1~6のもの)、N-ヒドロキシエチル-N-メチルアクリルアミド、N-2-アセトアミドエチル-N-アセチルアクリルアミド等が挙げられる。
 前記メタクリルアミド類としては、メタクリルアミド、N-アルキルメタクリルアミド(アルキル基としては炭素数1~3のもの、例えばメチル基、エチル基、プロピル基)、N,N-ジアルキルメタクリルアミド(アルキル基としては炭素数1~6のもの)、N-ヒドロキシエチル-N-メチルメタクリルアミド、N-2-アセトアミドエチル-N-アセチルメタクリルアミド等が挙げられる。
 前記イタコン酸ジアルキル類としては、イタコン酸ジメチル、イタコン酸ジエチル、イタコン酸ジブチル等が挙げられ、前記フマール酸のジアルキルエステル類またはモノアルキルエステル類としては、ジブチルフマレート等が挙げられる。
 その他、クロトン酸、イタコン酸、アクリロニトリル、メタクリロニトリル、マレイロニトリル等も挙げることができる。
<重合体(A)の具体例>
 以下の表に、本発明で使用することができる重合体(A)の好ましい具体例を挙げる。表に記載される種類のモノマーを表に記載される質量割合で混合して共重合することにより、重合体(A)を製造することができる。ただし、本発明で用いることができる重合体(A)は以下の具体例に限定されるものではない。

 これらの重合体(A)は、硬化性樹脂組成物に1種のみを単独で用いてもよいし、2種以上を混合して用いてもよい。
 重合体(A)の数平均分子量は、500以上、100万未満であることが好ましく、1,000~100,000であることがより好ましく、3,000~70,000であることが更に好ましい。
 重合体(A)は、本発明の硬化性樹脂組成物中に、5~60質量%の範囲で含まれることが好ましく、7~50質量%の範囲で含まれることがより好ましく、10~40質量%の範囲で含まれることがさらに好ましい。
[2つ以上の重合性不飽和基を有する化合物(B)]
 本発明で用いることができる2つ以上の重合性不飽和基を有する化合物(B)中の重合性不飽和結合は、アクリロイル基、メタクリロイル基、ビニル基、または、アリル基であることが好ましく、アクリロイル基、メタクリロイル基、またはビニル基であることがより好ましく、アクリロイル基、またはビニル基であることがさらに好ましい。
 本発明で用いることができる2つ以上の重合性不飽和基を有する化合物(B)は炭素数5~20の脂環構造を有していることが好ましく、炭素数6~16の脂環構造を有していることがより好ましく、炭素数6~10の脂環構造を有していることがさらに好ましい。また多環式脂環構造であることが更に好ましい。
 重合性不飽和基と脂環構造は、直接にまたは連結基を介して結合していることが好ましく、-CO-、-O-、-CH2-及びこれらの組み合わせからなる基から選択される二価の連結基であることがより好ましく、-O-、-CH2-及びこれらの組み合わせからなる基から選択される二価の連結基であることがさらに好ましい。
 2つ以上の重合性不飽和基を有する化合物(B)は、重合性不飽和基の数が2つまたは3つであることが好ましい。
 2つ以上の重合性不飽和基を有する化合物(B)の分子量は、100~700であることが好ましく、130~600であることがより好ましく、150~400であることがさらに好ましい。
 本発明で用いることができる2つ以上の重合性不飽和基を有する化合物(B)の具体例を以下のB-1~B-20に示すが、本発明がこれらに限定されるものではないことはいうまでもない。

 これらの2つ以上の重合性不飽和基を有する化合物(B)は、硬化性樹脂組成物に1種のみを単独で用いてもよいし、2種以上を混合して用いてもよい。
 2つ以上の重合性不飽和基を有する化合物(B)は、本発明の硬化性樹脂組成物中に、20~90質量%の範囲で含まれることが好ましく、25~80質量%の範囲で含まれることがより好ましく、30~70質量%の範囲で含まれることがさらに好ましい。
[1つの重合性不飽和基を有する化合物(C)]
 本発明で用いることができる1つの重合性不飽和基を有する化合物(C)中の重合性不飽和結合は、アクリロイル基、メタクリロイル基、ビニル基、または、アリル基であることが好ましく、アクリロイル基、メタクリロイル基、またはビニル基であることがより好ましく、アクリロイル基、またはビニル基であることがさらに好ましい。
 本発明で用いることができる1つの重合性不飽和基を有する化合物(C)は炭素数5~20の脂環構造を有していることが好ましく、炭素数6~16の脂環構造を有していることがより好ましく、炭素数6~10の脂環構造を有していることがさらに好ましい。また多環式脂環構造であることが更に好ましい。
 重合性不飽和基と脂環構造は、直接にまたは連結基を介して結合していることが好ましく、-CO-、-O-、-CH2-及びこれらの組み合わせからなる基から選択される二価の連結基であることがより好ましく、-O-、-CH2-及びこれらの組み合わせからなる基から選択される二価の連結基であることがさらに好ましい。
 1つの重合性不飽和基を有する化合物(C)の分子量は、100~700であることが好ましく、150~600であることがより好ましく、200~500であることがさらに好ましい。
 本発明で用いることができる1つの重合性不飽和基を有する化合物(C)の具体例を下記C-1~C-42に示すが、本発明がこれらに限定されるものではないことはいうまでもない。

 1つの重合性不飽和基を有する化合物(C)は、硬化性樹脂組成物に1種のみを単独で用いてもよいし、2種以上を混合して用いてもよい。
 1つの重合性不飽和基を有する化合物(C)は、本発明の硬化性樹脂組成物中に、0~40質量%の範囲で含まれることが好ましく、2~40質量%の範囲で含まれることがより好ましく、5~35質量%の範囲で含まれることがさらに好ましい。
[開始剤(D)]
 本発明の硬化性樹脂組成物は、紫外線、電子線等の活性エネルギー線の照射によって硬化してもよいし、加熱によって硬化してもよい。また、光照射と熱照射の両方によって硬化するのがより好ましい。
 紫外線、電子線等の活性エネルギー線の照射による硬化を行う場合、光重合開始剤を添加しておくことが好ましい。光重合開始剤としては、公知のものを使用することができる。例えば、α-ヒドロキシアルキルフェノン類、α-アミノアルキルフェノン類、オキシムエステル類、アシルホスフィンオキサイド類を挙げることができる。
 加熱による硬化を行う場合、熱重合開始剤を添加しておくことが好ましい。熱重合開始剤としては、公知のものを使用することができる。例えば、AIBN等のアゾ化合物類、ハイドロパーオキサイド類、ジアルキルパーオキサイド類、パーオキシエステル類、ジアシルパーオキサイド類、パーオキシジカーボネート類、パーオキシケタール類、ケトンパーオキサイド類を挙げることができる。
 本発明では、光重合開始剤と熱重合開始剤を併用することが好ましい。両者を併用し、活性エネルギー線の照射を行った後、加熱することがより好ましい。このような手段を採用することにより、予め、活性エネルギー線の照射により半硬化しているため、成形型(好ましくは、成形金型)内での硬化収縮量を抑制し、成形型の形状転写性に優れ、かつ成形型の隙間(クリアランス)へのモレが抑制できる。
 本発明の硬化性樹脂組成物中における開始剤の含量は、0.001~5質量%が好ましく、0.1~3質量%が好ましい。
 本発明の硬化性樹脂組成物には、上記のほか、本発明の趣旨を逸脱しない範囲で、他の成分を添加することができる。例えば、酸化防止剤、光安定剤などを使用できる。酸化防止剤、光安定剤の具体例としては、特開2006-231851号公報の段落番号0022~0025に記載のものが挙げられる。これらの成分は、本発明の硬化性樹脂組成物の5質量%以下であることが好ましい。
 本発明の硬化性樹脂組成物は、実質的に、溶剤を含まないことが好ましい。実質的に含まないとは、例えば、溶剤の含量が、硬化性樹脂組成物の1質量%以下であることをいう。
 本発明の硬化性樹脂組成物は、硬化前において、25℃において液体とすることができる。
 本発明の硬化性樹脂組成物は、硬化前、25℃において、粘度を10~100万mPa・sとすることができ、好ましくは50~50万mPa・sとすることができ、さらに好ましくは100~10万mPa・sとすることができる。
 本発明の硬化性樹脂組成物は、ガラス転移温度(Tg)を230℃以上とすることができ、好ましくは250℃以上とすることができ、さらに好ましくは270℃以上とすることができる。上限値としては、特にさだめるものではないが、通常、400℃以下である。
 本発明の硬化性樹脂組成物は、硬化後の波長589nmにおける透過率を、75%以上とすることができ、好ましくは80%以上とすることができ、更に好ましくは85%以上とすることができる。
 本発明の硬化性樹脂組成物は、硬化後の硬化後の波長589nmにおける屈折率を、1.45以上とすることができ、好ましくは1.50以上とすることができる。上限値については特に定めるものではないが、通常、1.65以下である。
 本発明の硬化性樹脂組成物は、硬化後のアッベ数を45以上とすることができ、好ましくは50以上とすることができる。上限値については特に定めるものではないが、通常、70以下である。
[成形体の製造方法]
 本発明の硬化性樹脂組成物を用いた光学部品等の成形体を製造する方法は公知の方法を広く採用できる。例えば、鋳型に本発明の硬化性樹脂組成物を充填し、活性エネルギーの照射および/または加熱により硬化し、製造することができる。本発明では、特に、活性エネルギーの照射と加熱の両方を併用することが好ましい。このような手段を採用することにより、成形型(好ましくは、成形金型)内での硬化収縮量を抑制するため、成形型の形状転写性に優れ、かつ成形型の隙間(クリアランス)へのモレが抑制できる。
[光学部品]
 本発明の硬化物は、高屈折性、光線透過性、軽量性を併せ持ち、光学特性に優れた成形体であることが好ましく、本発明の光学部品は、本発明の硬化物を用いたことを特徴とする。本発明の光学部品の種類は、特に制限されない。特に、硬化樹脂組成物の優れた光学特性を利用した光学部品、特に光を透過する光学部品(いわゆるパッシブ光学部品)として好適に利用することができる。かかる光学部品を備えた光学機能装置としては、例えば、各種ディスプレイ装置(液晶ディスプレイやプラズマディスプレイ等)、各種プロジェクタ装置(OHP、液晶プロジェクタ等)、光ファイバー通信装置(光導波路、光増幅器等)、カメラやビデオ等の撮影装置等が例示される。
 また、光学機能装置に用いられる前記パッシブ光学部品としては、例えば、レンズ、プリズム、プリズムシート、パネル(板状成形体)、フィルム、光導波路(フィルム状やファイバー状等)、光ディスク、LEDの封止剤等が例示される。かかるパッシブ光学部品には、必要に応じて任意の被覆層、例えば摩擦や摩耗による塗布面の機械的損傷を防止する保護層、無機粒子や基材等の劣化原因となる望ましくない波長の光線を吸収する光線吸収層、水分や酸素ガス等の反応性低分子の透過を抑制あるいは防止する透過遮蔽層、防眩層、反射防止層、低屈折率層等や、任意の付加機能層を設けて多層構造としてもよい。かかる任意の被覆層の具体例としては、無機酸化物コーティング層からなる透明導電膜やガスバリア膜、有機物コーティング層からなるガスバリア膜やハードコート等が挙げられ、そのコーティング法としては真空蒸着法、CVD法、スパッタリング法、ディップコート法、スピンコート法等公知のコーティング法を用いることができる。
 本発明の硬化物を用いた光学部品は、特にレンズ基材に好適である。本発明の硬化物の製造方法を用いて製造されたレンズ基材は、好ましくは、高アッベ数であって、高屈折性、光線透過性、軽量性を併せ持ち、光学特性に優れている。また、硬化樹脂組成物を構成するモノマーの種類を適宜調節することにより、レンズ基材の屈折率を任意に調節することが可能である。
 なお、本明細書中において「レンズ基材」とは、レンズ機能を発揮することができる単一部材を意味する。レンズ基材の表面や周囲には、レンズの使用環境や用途に応じて膜や部材を設けることができる。例えば、レンズ基材の表面には、保護膜、反射防止膜、ハードコート膜等を形成することができる。また、レンズ基材の周囲を基材保持枠などに嵌入して固定することもできる。ただし、これらの膜や枠などは、レンズ基材に付加される部材であり、本明細書中でいうレンズ基材そのものとは区別される。
 前記レンズ基材をレンズとして利用するに際しては、前記レンズ基材そのものを単独でレンズとして用いてもよいし、前記のように膜や枠などを付加してレンズとして用いてもよい。前記レンズ基材を用いたレンズの種類や形状は、特に制限されない。前記レンズ基材は、例えば、眼鏡レンズ、光学機器用レンズ、オプトエレクトロニクス用レンズ、レーザー用レンズ、ピックアップ用レンズ、車載カメラ用レンズ、携帯カメラ用レンズ、デジタルカメラ用レンズ、OHP用レンズ、マイクロレンズアレイ、およびウェハレベルレンズアレイ(特許第3926380号公報、国際公開2008/102648号、特許第4226061号公報、特許第4226067号公報)等に使用される。
 以下に実施例を挙げて本発明をさらに具体的に説明する。以下の実施例に示す材料、使用量、割合、処理内容、処理手順等は、本発明の趣旨を逸脱しない限り、適宜、変更することができる。従って、本発明の範囲は以下に示す具体例に限定されるものではない。
[分析および評価方法]
(1)光線透過率測定
 厚さ1mmの基板状に成形した硬化物を作成し、紫外可視吸収スペクトル測定用装置UV-3100(島津製作所製)で波長589nmの光について測定した。
(2)屈折率測定
 アッベ屈折計(アタゴ社製、DR-M4)にて、波長589nmの光について行った。
(3)アッベ数(νD)測定
 アッベ屈折計(アタゴ社製、DR-M4)にて、波長486nm、589nm、656nmの光についてそれぞれの屈折率を測定し、波長486nmにおける屈折率をnF、波長589nmにおける屈折率をnD、波長656nmにおける屈折率をnCとした場合に、下記の式より算出した。

(4)吸水率測定
 厚さ1mmの基板状に成形した硬化物の重量(Wi)を測定し、を85℃85%RHに設定した環境試験機中に一週間保持した後の硬化物の重量(Wf)を測定し、下記の式より算出した。

(5)ガラス転移温度測定
 Rheogel-E4000(株式会社ユービーエム製、動的粘弾性測定装置)を用いて、厚さ200μm、幅5mm、長さ23mmの短冊フイルム状に成形した硬化物を引張りモード、周波数10Hz、歪み10μm(一定)の条件で、30~300℃の温度範囲におけるtanδを測定し、そのピーク温度をガラス転移温度(Tg)とした。300℃までに明確なピークが存在しない場合、>300℃と表記した。
(6)成形性評価
 硬化性樹脂組成物を成形金型内で硬化させ成形体を得る工程において、金型の隙間(クリアランス)へのモレの度合いを下記基準で評価した。成形を10回おこなった後、モレが発生している個数が0個である場合を◎、1~3個の場合を○、4~8個の場合を△、8個以上の場合を×とした。
[材料の調製]
(1)重合体(A)の合成例
 還流冷却器、ガス導入コックを付した1L三口フラスコに、トリシクロ[5,2,1,02,6]デカ-8-イルメタクリレート(日立化成工業株式会社製、商品名FA-513M、例示化合物A1-1に該当)45.0g、アリルメタクリレート(和光純薬工業株式会社製、例示化合物A3-1に該当)5.0g、酢酸エチル500.0gを添加し、2回窒素置換した後、開始剤として和光純薬工業株式会社製V-65(商品名)0.6gを添加し、さらに2回窒素置換した後、窒素気流下65℃で6時間加熱した。その後、メタノール2Lに反応液を注ぎ、析出した白色固体を吸引ろ過により回収した。70℃で5時間減圧乾燥を行い、溶媒を留去することにより重合体P-1を得た(収率60%、数平均分子量24,000、重量平均分子量58,000)。
 他の例示したポリマーについても、同様の方法で調製できる。
(2)硬化性樹脂組成物の調製
 表1で示した重合体(A)を表2に示す組成で各種成分と混合、溶解し、硬化性樹脂組成物を得た。下記表中において、1-ヒドロキシシクロヘキシルフェノン(和光純薬工業株式会社製)をD-1、クメンハイドロパーオキサイド(日油株式会社製、商品名パークミルH)をD-2、パーオキシ2-エチルヘキサン酸t-ブチル(日油株式会社製、商品名パーブチルO)をD-3と表した。実施例26では、単量体(B)として1,6-ヘキサンジオールジアクリレート(大阪有機化学工業株式会社製、商品名ビスコート230;表中V230と表記)を用いた。比較例1および比較例2では重合体(A)を用いなかった。比較例3では重合体Q-1(構成モノマーは例示化合物A1-1を100質量%使用、数平均分子量は25,000)を用いた。比較例4では重合体Q-2(構成モノマーはA2-14を100質量%、数平均分子量は19,000)を用いた。比較例5では主鎖に窒素原子を有するウレタンアクリレートM-1200(東亞合成株式会社製、商品名アロニックスM-1200)を用いた。比較例6はメチルメタクリレート(MMA)および例示化合物B-15からなる硬化性樹脂組成物を用いた。比較例6では、重合体(A)が脂環構造を含まない。

[紫外光照射および加熱圧縮による光学部品の製造]
 各実施例および各比較例の組成物を用い、レンズを下記の手順で製造した。
 上記硬化性樹脂組成物を成形金型(材質;SUS304)に任意の量投入し、開口部よりHOYA社製UL750を用いて、30mW/cm2のUV光を10秒照射し、半硬化させ、その後室温から200℃まで10℃/分の速度で昇温し、圧力20kgfにて圧縮成形を行い、成形体を得た。得られた硬化物の光線透過率測定、屈折率測定、アッベ数測定、吸水率測定、ガラス転移温度測定を行った。また、成形時に成形性評価をおこなった。これらの結果は以下の表3に記載した。その後、レンズ用成形体をレンズの形状に成形して、光学部品であるレンズを得た。

 表3から明らかなように、本発明の硬化性樹脂組成物を用いることにより、成形性が良く、屈折率が1.45より大きく、アッベ数が45より大きく、透明性が良好であり、吸水率が小さく、ガラス転移温度が高い、良好な光学部品が得られた(実施例1~28)。一方、重合体(A)を用いない比較例1、比較例2では、硬化性樹脂組成物の粘度が低く、成形性が悪かった。重合性不飽和結合を有していない重合体を用いた比較例3、比較例4では、硬化後に相分離が生じたことにより、透過率が低下いために、屈折率およびアッベ数を測定することが出来ず、ガラス転移温度も低下した。主鎖中に窒素原子を有するウレタンアクリレートを用いた比較例5では、吸水率が高かった。

Claims (21)

  1. 炭素原子からなる主鎖と、重合性不飽和結合基を有する側鎖を有し、かつ、主鎖および/または側鎖に環状構造を有する重合体(A)と、重合性不飽和基を有する化合物を含む硬化性樹脂組成物。
  2. 重合性不飽和基を有する化合物として、2つ以上の重合性不飽和基を有する化合物(B)を含む、請求項1に記載の硬化性樹脂組成物。
  3. 2つ以上の重合性不飽和基を有する化合物(B)が有する重合性不飽和基が、それぞれ、アクリロイル基、メタアクリロイル基、ビニル基およびアリル基から選択される、請求項2に記載の硬化性樹脂組成物。
  4. 2つ以上の重合性不飽和基を有する化合物(B)が脂環構造を有する、請求項2または3に記載の硬化性樹脂組成物。
  5. 重合性不飽和基を有する化合物として、1つの重合性不飽和基を有する化合物(C)を含む、請求項1~4のいずれか1項に記載の硬化性樹脂組成物。
  6. 1つの重合性不飽和基を有する化合物(C)が環状構造を有している、請求項5に記載の硬化性樹脂組成物。
  7. 重合体(A)が、下記一般式(1)で表される繰返単位および下記一般式(2)で表される繰返単位の少なくとも1種類の繰返単位を有することを特徴とする、請求項1~6のいずれか1項に記載の硬化性樹脂組成物。

  9. 一般式(1)で表される繰返単位であってαが下記群(1)から選択される構造を骨格とする環状構造を含む繰返単位および一般式(2)で表される繰返単位であってβが下記群(2)から選択される構造を骨格とする環状構造を含む繰返単位から選択される、請求項7に記載の硬化性樹脂組成物。

  10. 一般式(1)で表される繰返単位であって、L1が、-CO-、-O-、-CH2-及びこれらの組み合わせからなる基から選択される、請求項7~9のいずれか1項に記載の硬化性樹脂組成物。
  11. 前記重合体(A)が、さらに、下記一般式(3)で表される繰返単位を含む、請求項1~10のいずれか1項に記載の硬化性樹脂組成物。

  12. 重合体(A)が、重合性化合物を含む重合性組成物であって、該重合性化合物成分が、一般式(1)で表される繰返単位および/または一般式(2)で表される繰返単位を構成する重合性化合物5~100質量%と、一般式(3)で表される繰返単位を構成する重合性化合物0~95重量%と、他の重合性化合物5質量%以下のみからなる重合性組成物を用いて合成される、請求項7~11のいずれか1項に記載の硬化性樹脂組成物。
  13. 重合体(A)の重量分子量が、500以上100万未満である、請求項1~12のいずれか1項に記載の硬化性樹脂組成物。
  14. 重合体(A)の含有量が5~60質量%、2つ以上の重合性不飽和基を有する化合物(B)の含有量が20~90質量%、1つの重合性不飽和基を有する化合物(C)の含有量が0~40質量%、他の成分が5質量%以下であることを特徴とする請求項5~13のいずれか1項に記載の硬化性樹脂組成物。
  15. 光または熱の照射により硬化を開始する開始剤(D)を少なくとも2種類以上有していることを特徴とする請求項1~14のいずれか1項に記載の硬化性樹脂組成物。
  16. 硬化後の波長589nmにおける屈折率が1.45以上であり、アッベ数が45以上であり、波長589nmにおける厚さ1mm換算の光線透過率が75%以上であることを特徴とする請求項1~15のいずれか1項に記載の硬化性樹脂組成物。
  17. 硬化後のガラス転移温度が230℃以上であることを特徴とする請求項1~16のいずれか1項に記載の硬化性樹脂組成物。
  18. 請求項1~17のいずれか1項に記載の硬化性樹脂組成物を成形してなることを特徴とする成形体。
  19. 請求項1~17のいずれか1項に記載の硬化性樹脂組成物を成形してなることを特徴とする光学部品。
  20. 光学部品がレンズ基材であることを特徴とする請求項19に記載の光学部品。
  21. 請求項1~17のいずれか1項に記載の硬化性樹脂組成物を成形型内において、二段階で硬化させることを特徴とする成形体の製造方法。
