Abstract
Description
上記の複数の開口部を締結工具係合部としたことで、スプリンクラーヘッドの外面に締結工具係合部が表れるので作業者が直感的に開口部に締結工具を係合させるものと判断できる。具体的には開口部の形状と締結工具の開口部と係合する箇所の形状を略同じにすると、作業者が開口部に締結工具を係合させることを直感的に判断できる。
開口部を筒部材の側面まで連続して形成することで、締結工具を筒部材の外側から係合させることが可能である。具体的には締結工具を筒部材の側面から開口部へ係合させることや、開口部の平面側から側面側にかけて嵌合可能なリング状の締結工具を用いることができる。
サポートベースを介在させたことで締結工具によりスプリンクラーヘッドを給水配管へ取付・取外しする際に、筒部材の締結工具係合部に過負荷が加わった場合でも締結工具係合部の変形・破損を防止できる。また、サポートベースにより締結工具係合部の補強を行うことで筒部材を薄肉に形成することができる。
上記によれば、保護キャップを筒部材の締結工具係合部に係止させたことで締結工具は保護キャップを介して締結工具係合部に係止される。これにより締結工具の力が締結工具係合部の縁部に間接的に作用するので力が一点に集中することを防ぎ、締結工具係合部が変形・破損することを防止する。
保護キャップを筒部材の開口部よりはみ出したサポートベースに係合させることで、締結工具より加えられる回転力をサポートベースの側面のみに印加することができる。サポートベースのみで締結工具より加えられる回転力を受けるように構成し、筒部材を薄肉にすることで筒部材側面の螺旋溝を転造により形成することができる。
開口部から延出して形成した補強部により、締結工具から加えられる回転力に耐えられるようにして開口部の変形や破損を防止可能である。
所定以上のトルクで回転させると脆弱部が破損することで、それ以上スプリンクラーヘッドを給水配管に締め込むことができなくなり、スプリンクラーヘッドおよび給水配管のネジ部の締め込みすぎによる破損を防止することができる。
これによれば、サポートベースと筒部材を係合設置させることで一体化し、締結工具より加えられる回転力に対して開口部付近の強度を向上させて破損を防止することができる。
以下、第1実施形態について図1から図6を参照して説明する。第1実施形態のスプリンクラーヘッドSHは、スプリンクラーヘッド本体1、筒部材2、リテーナー3、カバープレート4から構成される。
続いて本発明の第2実施形態について図7、8を参照して説明する。尚、第1実施形態と構造が同じ箇所には同符号を付して説明は省略する。
さらに本発明の第3実施形態について図9、10を参照して説明する。第3実施形態においても第1実施形態と構造が同じ箇所には同符号を付して説明は省略する。
さらに本発明の第4実施形態について図13を参照して説明する。第4実施形態においても第1実施形態と構造が同じ箇所には同符号を付して説明は省略する。
第1実施形態の変形例について図14、15を参照して説明する。尚、第1実施形態と構造が同じ箇所には同符号を付して説明は省略する。

Claims (11)
- スプリンクラーヘッド本体の外部に筒部材が設置され、該筒部材とスプリンクラーヘッド本体とが供回り可能に係合設置されており、スプリンクラーヘッド本体を外力から保護する保護キャップを筒部材に係止させ、保護キャップにはスプリンクラーヘッドを給水配管へ接続するための締結工具を筒部材に設けた締結工具係合部に係止可能な空間が設けられていることを特徴とするスプリンクラーヘッド。
- 筒部材の締結工具係合部は、スプリンクラーヘッド本体と係合設置される筒部材の一端に形成された平面に設けられた複数の開口部である第1項記載のスプリンクラーヘッド。
- 開口部は筒部材の側面まで連続して形成されている第1項または第2項記載のスプリンクラーヘッド。
- 筒部材とスプリンクラーヘッド本体との間に、前記開口に沿った形状の切欠きが形成されたサポートベースが介在して供回り可能に係合設置されている第1項から第3項の何れか1項記載のスプリンクラーヘッド。
- 保護キャップは筒部材の締結工具係合部に係止可能である第1項から第4項の何れか1項記載のスプリンクラーヘッド。
- 保護キャップには締結工具を筒部材の締結工具係合部へ導くガイド部が設けられている第1項から第5項の何れか1項記載のスプリンクラーヘッド。
- 締結工具は保護キャップを介して筒部材の開口部の縁と係合する第1項から第6項の何れか1項記載のスプリンクラーヘッド。
- 保護キャップは筒部材の開口部よりはみ出したサポートベースに係合される第2項から第6項の何れか1項記載のスプリンクラーヘッド。
- 保護キャップは筒部材の開口部から延出して形成した補強部に係合される第2項から第6項の何れか1項記載のスプリンクラーヘッド。
- 保護キャップにはハンドルが形成されており、ハンドルには、ハンドルを所定以上のトルクで回転させると破損する脆弱部を有する第1項から第9項の何れか1項記載のスプリンクラーヘッド。
- サポートベースと筒部材は供回り可能な係合部を有する第1項から第10項の何れか1項記載のスプリンクラーヘッド。
