Abstract
Description
単独のCNTを使用する場合、CNTを溶媒中に加えてこれに超音波を照射した後、電気泳動等で単一に分散しているCNTのみを取り出す方法などが用いられている。
しかし、一般的にCNTは分散しにくいという問題があり、通常の複合体ではCNTの分散が不完全なまま用いられているため、十分にCNTの性能を発現させているとは言い難い。
さらに、この問題は、CNTの各種応用を難しくさせることにもつながっている。このためCNTの表面改質、表面化学修飾などによって分散性を向上させる方法が種々検討されている。
ここでは、有機溶媒中にCNTを孤立に分散させることが可能で、CNT1本にポリマーが付着している様子を示しているが、一度ある程度にまで分散した後に凝集が起こり、沈殿物としてCNTを捕集するというものであり、長期的にCNTを分散させた状態で保存できるものではなかった。
しかし、分散剤として用いられるポリマーは直鎖状ポリマーであることを特徴としたものであり、高分岐ポリマーについての知見は明らかにされていない。
これらの高分岐ポリマーは、従来の高分子が一般的に紐状の形状であるのに対し、積極的に分岐を導入している点で比較的疎な内部空間や粒子性を有するという特異な形状を示すと共に、各種官能基の導入により修飾可能な多数の末端を有しており、これらの特徴を利用することで直鎖状のポリマーと比較してCNTを高度に分散させる可能性がある。
さらに、この特許文献4の技術では、分散剤を合成する際の収率が低く、収率を向上させるためにカップリング剤として多量の金属触媒を使用する必要があることから、高分岐ポリマー中に金属成分が残留する虞があるため、CNTとの複合体の用途では応用が限定される虞がある。

したがって、本発明の分散剤を用いることで、CNTの少なくとも一部をその単独サイズ(直径0.4~100nm)にまで分離して、いわゆる「孤立分散」の状態で安定に(凝集させることなく)有機溶媒に分散させることができる。なお本発明において「孤立分散」とは、CNTが相互の凝集力によって塊状や束状、縄状となることなく、CNTの1本1本がバラバラになって媒体に分散して存在している状態を意味する。
しかも分散剤、CNTおよび有機溶媒を含有する溶液に超音波処理などの機械的処理を施すだけで、CNTを分散させることができ、分散にあたり更なる熱処理などの付加工程を省略し得、かつ、処理時間を短縮することができる。
したがって、本発明のCNT分散剤を用いることで、CNT(の少なくとも一部)を孤立分散の状態で分散させた、CNT含有組成物を容易に得ることができる。
そして、本発明で得られるCNT含有組成物は、基板に塗布するだけで容易に薄膜形成が可能であるうえに、得られた薄膜は、高導電性を示す。そして上記組成物において、CNTの量をその用途に応じて調整することが容易であるため、各種半導体材料、電導体材料等として幅広い用途に好適に用いることができる。
また、本発明の高分岐ポリマーは、高屈折率、高透明性、高耐熱性を発揮する膜を与え得る。
この膜は、液晶ディスプレイ、有機エレクトロルミネッセンス(EL)ディスプレイ、光半導体(LED)素子、固体撮像素子、有機薄膜太陽電池、色素増感太陽電池、有機薄膜トランジスタ(TFT)などの電子デバイスを作製する際の一部材として好適に利用できる。
特に、高屈折率が求められている固体撮像素子の部材である、フォトダイオード上の埋め込み膜および平坦化膜、カラーフィルター前後の平坦化膜、マイクロレンズ、マイクロレンズ上の平坦化膜およびコンフォーマル膜として好適に利用できる。
本発明に係るCNT分散剤は、トリアリールアミン構造を分岐点として含有する高分岐ポリマー、より詳細には、トリアリールアミン類とアルデヒド類および/またはケトン類とを酸性条件下で縮合重合することで得られる高分岐ポリマーからなる。
この高分岐ポリマーは、トリアリールアミン構造の芳香環由来のπ-π相互作用を通してCNTの有する共役構造に対して高い親和性を示すと考えられるため、CNTの高い分散能が期待されると共に、上記トリアリールアミン類とアルデヒド類および/またはケトン類から選ばれる共モノマーとの組み合わせや条件により、様々な骨格のデザインや官能基導入、分子量や分布の制御、さらには機能付与を行うことが可能であるなどの特徴を有する。また、この高分岐ポリマーは、分岐構造を有することで直鎖状のものでは見られない高溶解性をも有していると共に、熱安定性にも優れており、優れたホール輸送性を示すことから有機EL材料としての応用も期待される。
なお、本発明における重量平均分子量は、ゲル浸透クロマトフラフィーによる測定値(ポリスチレン換算)である。
ここで、ハロゲン原子としては、フッ素原子、塩素原子、臭素原子、ヨウ素原子が挙げられる。
炭素原子数1~5の分岐構造を有していてもよいアルキル基としては、メチル基、エチル基、n-プロピル基、イソプロピル基、n-ブチル基、sec-ブチル基、tert-ブチル基、n-ペンチル基等が挙げられる。
炭素原子数1~5の分岐構造を有していてもよいアルコキシ基としては、メトキシ基、エトキシ基、n-プロポキシ基、イソプロポキシ基、n-ブトキシ基、sec-ブトキシ基、tert-ブトキシ基、n-ペントキシ基等が挙げられる。
なお、炭素原子数1~5の分岐構造を有していてもよいアルキル基としては、上記で例示したものと同様のものが挙げられる。
ここで、炭素原子数1~5の分岐構造を有していてもよいハロアルキル基としては、ジフルオロメチル基、トリフルオロメチル基、ブロモジフルオロメチル基、2-クロロエチル基、2-ブロモエチル基、1,1-ジフルオロエチル基、2,2,2-トリフルオロエチル基、1,1,2,2-テトラフルオロエチル基、2-クロロ-1,1,2-トリフルオロエチル基、ペンタフルオロエチル基、3-ブロモプロピル基、2,2,3,3-テトラフルオロプロピル基、1,1,2,3,3,3-ヘキサフルオロプロピル基、1,1,1,3,3,3-ヘキサフルオロプロパン-2-イル基、3-ブロモ-2-メチルプロピル基、4-ブロモブチル基、パーフルオロペンチル基等が挙げられる。
なお、ハロゲン原子、炭素原子数1~5の分岐構造を有していてもよいアルキル基としては、上記式(2)~(7)で例示した基と同様のものが挙げられる。
なお、アルデヒド化合物として、例えば、テレフタルアルデヒド等のフタルアルデヒド類のような、二官能化合物(C)を用いる場合、スキーム1で示される反応が生じるだけではなく、下記スキーム2で示される反応が生じ、2つの官能基が共に縮合反応に寄与した、架橋構造を有する高分岐ポリマーが得られる場合もある。
上記酸触媒としては、例えば、硫酸、リン酸、過塩素酸等の鉱酸類;p-トルエンスルホン酸、p-トルエンスルホン酸一水和物等の有機スルホン酸類;ギ酸、シュウ酸等のカルボン酸類を用いることができる。
酸触媒の使用量は、その種類によって種々選択されるが、通常、トリアリールアミン類100質量部に対して、0.001~10,000質量部、好ましくは、0.01~1,000質量部、より好ましくは0.1~100質量部である。
また、使用する酸触媒が、例えばギ酸のような液状のものであるならば、酸触媒に溶媒としての役割を兼ねさせることもできる。
以上のようにして得られる重合体の重量平均分子量Mwは、通常1,000~2,000,000、好ましくは、2,000~1,000,000である。
CNTは、アーク放電法、化学気相成長法(以下、CVD法という)、レーザー・アブレーション法等によって作製されるが、本発明に使用されるCNTは何れの方法によって得られたものであってもよい。また、CNTには1枚の炭素膜(グラフェン・シート)が円筒状に巻かれた単層CNT(以下、SWCNTと記載)と、2枚のグラフェン・シートが同心円状に巻かれた2層CNT(以下、DWCNTと記載)と、複数のグラフェン・シートが同心円状に巻かれた多層CNT(以下、MWCNTと記載)とがあるが、本発明においては、SWCNT、DWCNT、MWCNTをそれぞれ単体で、または複数を組み合わせて使用できる。
CNTのカイラリティーは図1に示されるカイラルベクトル(R=na1+ma2、ただしm、nは整数)により規定され、n=mおよびn-m=3p(ただしpは整数)の場合には金属的性質、それ以外の場合(n≠m、n-m≠3p)には半導体性質をそれぞれ示すことが知られている。このため、特にSWCNTを使用する場合は、ある種のカイラリティーを選択的に可溶化(分散)した組成物とすることが重要である。
本発明の高分岐ポリマーからなるCNT分散剤を使用することで、ある特定のカイラリティーを有するCNTを、選択的に分散させた組成物が得られる可能性がある。
このような有機溶媒としては、例えば、テトラヒドロフラン(THF)、ジエチルエーテル、1,2-ジメトキシエタン(DME)などのエーテル系化合物;塩化メチレン、クロロホルム、1,2-ジクロロエタンなどのハロゲン化炭化水素;N,N-ジメチルホルムアミド(DMF)、N,N-ジメチルアセトアミド(DMAc)、N-メチル-2-ピロリドン(NMP)などのアミド系化合物;アセトン、メチルエチルケトン、メチルイソブチルケトン、シクロヘキサノンなどのケトン系化合物;メタノール、エタノール、イソプロパノール、n-プロパノールなどのアルコール類;n-ヘプタン、n-ヘキサン、シクロヘキサンなどの脂肪族炭化水素類;ベンゼン、トルエン、キシレン、エチルベンゼンなどの芳香族炭化水素類等が挙げられ、これら有機溶媒は、それぞれ単独で、または2種以上混合して用いることができる。
特に、CNTの孤立分散の割合を向上させ得るという点から、NMP、DMF、THF、イソプロパノールが好ましく、さらに組成物の成膜性をも向上し得るための添加剤として、エチレングリコールモノエチルエーテル、エチレングリコールモノブチルエーテル、プロピレングリコールモノメチルエーテルなどのグリコールエーテル系化合物、または、アセトン、メチルエチルケトン、シクロヘキサノンなどのケトン系化合物を、少量含むことが望ましい。
また、有機溶媒を用いる場合には、分散剤、CNT、有機溶媒を任意の順序で混合して組成物を調製すればよい。
この際、分散剤、CNTおよび有機溶媒からなる混合物を分散処理することが好ましく、この処理により、CNTの孤立分散の割合をより向上させることができる。分散処理としては、機械的処理である、ボールミル、ビーズミル、ジェットミルなどを用いた湿式処理や、バス型やプローブ型のソニケータを用いる超音波処理が挙げられる。
分散処理の時間は任意であるが、5分間から10時間程度が好ましく、30分間から5時間程度がより好ましい。
なお、本発明の分散剤は、CNTの分散能に優れているため、分散処理前等に加熱処理を施さなくとも、CNTが高濃度で孤立分散した組成物を得ることができるが、必要に応じて加熱処理を施しても構わない。
また、有機溶媒を使用した組成物中における分散剤の濃度は、CNTを有機溶媒に分散させ得る濃度であれば特に限定されるものではないが、本発明においては、組成物中に0.001~30質量%程度とすることが好ましく、0.005~20質量%程度とすることがより好ましい。
さらに、この組成物中におけるCNTの濃度は、少なくともCNTの一部が孤立分散する限りにおいて任意であるが、本発明においては、組成物中に0.0001~20質量%程度とすることが好ましく、0.001~10質量%程度とすることがより好ましい。
以上のようにして調製された本発明の組成物中では、分散剤がCNTの表面に付着して複合体を形成しているものと推測される。
汎用合成樹脂の例としては、PE(ポリエチレン)、PP(ポリプロピレン)、EVA(エチレン-酢酸ビニル共重合体)、EEA(エチレン-アクリル酸エチル共重合体)などのポリオレフィン系樹脂;PS(ポリスチレン)、HIPS(ハイインパクトポリスチレン)、AS(アクリロニトリル-スチレン共重合体)、ABS(アクリロニトリル-ブタジエン-スチレン共重合体)、MS(メタクリル酸メチル-スチレン共重合体)などのポリスチレン系樹脂;ポリカーボネート樹脂;塩化ビニル樹脂;ポリアミド樹脂;ポリイミド樹脂;PMMA(ポリメチルメタクリレート)などの(メタ)アクリル樹脂;PET(ポリエチレンテレフタレート)、ポリブチレンテレフタレート、ポリエチレンナフタレート、ポリブチレンナフタレート、PLA(ポリ乳酸)、ポリ-3-ヒドロキシ酪酸、ポリカプロラクトン、ポリブチレンサクシネート、ポリエチレンサクシネート/アジペートなどのポリエステル樹脂;ポリフェニレンエーテル樹脂;変性ポリフェニレンエーテル樹脂;ポリアセタール樹脂;ポリスルホン樹脂;ポリフェニレンサルファイド樹脂;ポリビニルアルコール樹脂;ポリグルコール酸;変性でんぷん;酢酸セルロース、三酢酸セルロース;キチン、キトサン;リグニン等の熱可塑性樹脂、並びに、フェノール樹脂、尿素樹脂、メラミン樹脂、不飽和ポリエステル樹脂、ポリウレタン樹脂、エポキシ樹脂等の熱硬化性樹脂が挙げられる。
このような架橋剤としては、メラミン系、置換尿素系、またはそれらのポリマー系等が挙げられ、これら架橋剤は、それぞれ単独で、または2種以上混合して用いることができる。なお、好ましくは、少なくとも2個の架橋形成置換基を有する架橋剤であり、CYMEL(登録商標)、メトキシメチル化グリコールウリル、ブトキシメチル化グリコールウリル、メトキシメチル化メラミン、ブトキシメチル化メラミン、メトキシメチル化ベンゾグアナミン、ブトキシメチル化ベンゾグアナミン、メトキシメチル化尿素、ブトキシメチル化尿素、メトキシメチル化チオ尿素、メトキシメチル化チオ尿素等の化合物、およびこれらの化合物の縮合体が例として挙げられる。
本発明では、架橋反応を促進するための触媒としてとして、p-トルエンスルホン酸、トリフルオロメタンスルホン酸、ピリジニウムp-トルエンスルホン酸、サリチル酸、スルホサリチル酸、クエン酸、安息香酸、ヒドロキシ安息香酸、ナフタレンカルボン酸等の酸性化合物、および/または2,4,4,6-テトラブロモシクロヘキサジエノン、ベンゾイントシレート、2-ニトロベンジルトシレート、有機スルホン酸アルキルエステル等の熱酸発生剤を添加する事ができる。
触媒の添加量はCNT分散剤(高分岐ポリマー)に対して、0.0001~20質量%、好ましくは0.0005~10質量%、より好ましくは0.01~3質量%である。
マトリックスとなる樹脂としては、熱可塑性樹脂が好ましく、その具体例としては、上記汎用合成樹脂で例示した熱可塑性樹脂と同様のものが挙げられる。
この場合、組成物の調製は、分散剤、CNT、マトリックスとなる樹脂を、混練装置により溶融混練して複合化すればよい。混練装置としては、各種ミキサや、単軸または二軸押出機などが挙げられる。この際の混練温度、時間は任意であり、マトリックスとなる樹脂に応じて適宜選択される。
また、マトリックスとなる樹脂を用いた組成物中におけるCNT濃度は、要求される組成物の機械的、電気的、熱的特性などにおいて変化するため任意であるが、本発明においては、組成物中に0.0001~30質量%程度とすることが好ましく、0.001~20質量%とすることがより好ましい。
得られた薄膜は、CNTの金属的性質を活かした帯電防止膜、透明電極等の導電性材料、あるいは半導体的性質を活かした光電変換素子および電界発光素子等に好適に用いることができる。
高分岐ポリマーを溶解するのに用いる溶媒は、重合時に用いた溶媒と同じものでも別のものでもよい。
本発明の膜形成用組成物には、本発明の効果を損なわない限りにおいて、高分岐ポリマーおよび溶媒以外のその他の成分、例えば、レベリング剤、界面活性剤、架橋剤等が含まれていてもよい。
組成物の塗布方法は任意であり、例えば、スピンコート法、ディップ法、フローコート法、インクジェット法、スプレー法、バーコート法、グラビアコート法、スリットコート法、ロールコート法、転写印刷法、刷毛塗り、ブレードコート法、エアーナイフコート法等の方法を採用できる。
焼成温度は、溶媒を蒸発させる目的では特に限定されず、例えば40~400℃とすることができる。これらの場合、より高い均一成膜性を発現させたり、基材上で反応を進行させたりする目的で2段階以上の温度変化をつけてもよい。
焼成方法としては、特に限定されるものではなく、例えば、ホットプレートやオーブンを用いて、大気、窒素等の不活性ガス、真空中等の適切な雰囲気下で行えばよい。
焼成温度および焼成時間は、目的とする電子デバイスのプロセス工程に適合した条件を選択すればよく、得られる膜の物性値が電子デバイスの要求特性に適合するような焼成条件を選択すればよい。

[実施例1]高分岐ポリマーPTPA-pAAの合成
窒素下、100mL四口フラスコに、トリフェニルアミン[東京化成工業(株)製、以下同様]3.0g(12.2mmol)、p-アニスアルデヒド[純正化学(株)製]1.7g(12.4mmol(トリフェニルアミンに対して1.01eq))、パラトルエンスルホン酸一水和物[関東化学(株)製]0.26g(1.4mmol(0.1eq))、および1,4-ジオキサン3.0gを仕込んだ。この混合物を撹拌しながら120℃まで昇温し、溶解させ、重合を開始した。2時間反応させた後、反応混合物を60℃まで放冷した。この反応混合物をクロロホルム10gで希釈し、メタノール100gへ投入することで再沈殿させた。析出した沈殿物をろ過し、得られた固体をクロロホルム10gに再溶解させ、メタノール100gへ投入することで再度再沈殿させた。析出した沈殿物をろ過し、60℃で10時間減圧乾燥し、目的とする高分岐ポリマーPTPA-pAA(以下、単にPTPA-pAAという)3.2gを得た。
得られたPTPA-pAAの、GPCによるポリスチレン換算で測定される重量平均分子量Mwは42,000、多分散度Mw/Mnは5.83であった(ここでMnは同条件で測定される数平均分子量を表す。以下同様。)。
窒素下、50mL四口フラスコに、トリフェニルアミン1.0g(4.1mmol)、4-フェニルベンズアルデヒド[東京化成工業(株)製、以下同様]1.5g(8.2mmol(2.0eq))、パラトルエンスルホン酸一水和物[純正化学(株)製]0.23g(1.2mmol(0.3eq))、および1,4-ジオキサン3.0gを仕込んだ。この混合物を撹拌しながら100℃まで昇温し、溶解させ、重合を開始した。2時間15分反応させた後、反応混合物を60℃まで放冷した。この反応混合物をTHF20gで希釈し、アセトン50g、メタノール50gおよび28%アンモニア水4gの混合溶液へ投入することで再沈殿させた。析出した沈殿物をろ過し、減圧乾燥した後、得られた固体をTHF20gに再溶解させ、アセトン50gおよびメタノール50gの混合溶液へ投入することで再度再沈殿させた。析出した沈殿物をろ過し、130℃で6時間減圧乾燥し、目的とする高分岐ポリマーPTPA-PBA-1(以下、単にPTPA-PBA-1という)1.2gを得た。
得られたPTPA-PBA-1の、GPCによるポリスチレン換算で測定される重量平均分子量Mwは13,000、多分散度Mw/Mnは2.93であった。
窒素下、50mL四口フラスコに、トリフェニルアミン1.0g(4.1mmol)、4-フェニルベンズアルデヒド1.5g(8.2mmol(2.0eq))、パラトルエンスルホン酸一水和物[純正化学(株)製]0.23g(1.2mmol(0.3eq))、および1,4-ジオキサン3.0gを仕込んだ。この混合物を撹拌しながら100℃まで昇温し、溶解させ、重合を開始した。2時間25分反応させた後、反応混合物を60℃まで放冷した。この反応混合物をTHF20gで希釈し、アセトン50g、メタノール50gおよび28%アンモニア水4gの混合溶液へ投入することで再沈殿させた。析出した沈殿物をろ過し、減圧乾燥した後、得られた固体をTHF20gに再溶解させ、アセトン50gおよびメタノール50gの混合溶液へ投入することで再度再沈殿させた。析出した沈殿物をろ過し、130℃で6時間減圧乾燥し、目的とする高分岐ポリマーPTPA-PBA-2(以下、単にPTPA-PBA-2という)1.6gを得た。
得られたPTPA-PBA-2の、GPCによるポリスチレン換算で測定される重量平均分子量Mwは41,000、多分散度Mw/Mnは6.62であった。
窒素下、100mL四口フラスコに、トリフェニルアミン5.0g(20.4mmol)、3-チオフェンアルデヒド[東京化成工業(株)製]4.6g(40.8mmol(2.0eq))、パラトルエンスルホン酸一水和物[純正化学(株)製]8.9g(46.9mmol(2.3eq))、および1,4-ジオキサン15gを仕込んだ。この混合物を撹拌しながら80℃まで昇温し、溶解させ、重合を開始した。50分間反応させた後、反応混合物を60℃まで放冷した。この反応混合物をTHF150gで希釈し、アセトン200g、メタノール200gおよび28%アンモニア水8gの混合溶液へ投入することで再沈殿させた。析出した沈殿物をろ過し、減圧乾燥した後、得られた固体をTHF100gに再溶解させ、アセトン200gおよびメタノール200gの混合溶液へ投入することで再度再沈殿させた。析出した沈殿物をろ過し、130℃で6時間減圧乾燥し、目的とする高分岐ポリマーPTPA-TA(以下、単にPTPA-TAという)6.7gを得た。
得られたPTPA-TAの、GPCによるポリスチレン換算で測定される重量平均分子量Mwは77,000、多分散度Mw/Mnは11.25であった。なお、分子量測定には条件Bを使用した。
窒素下、100mL四口フラスコに、トリフェニルアミン3.0g(12.2mmol)、テレフタルアルデヒド[純正化学(株)製]0.84g(6.2mmol(0.51eq))、パラトルエンスルホン酸一水和物[関東化学(株)製]0.23g(1.4mmol(0.1eq))、および1,4-ジオキサン3.0gを仕込んだ。この混合物を撹拌しながら110℃まで昇温し、溶解させ、重合を開始した。2時間反応させた後、反応混合物を60℃まで放冷した。この反応混合物をTHF10gで希釈し、アセトン100gへ投入することで再沈殿させた。析出した沈殿物をろ過し、得られた固体をTHF10gに再溶解させ、アセトン100gへ投入することで再度再沈殿させた。析出した沈殿物をろ過し、60℃で10時間減圧乾燥し、目的とする高分岐ポリマーPTPA-TPA(以下、単にPTPA-TPAという)2.2gを得た。
得られたPTPA-TPAの、GPCによるポリスチレン換算で測定される重量平均分子量Mwは45,000、多分散度Mw/Mnは7.10であった。
窒素下、50mL四口フラスコに、トリフェニルアミン1.0g(4.1mmol)、4-トリフルオロメチルベンズアルデヒド[東京化成工業(株)製]1.4g(8.2mmol(2.0eq))、パラトルエンスルホン酸一水和物[純正化学(株)製]0.23g(1.2mmol(0.3eq))、および1,4-ジオキサン3.0gを仕込んだ。この混合物を撹拌しながら100℃まで昇温し、溶解させ、重合を開始した。40分間反応させた後、反応混合物を60℃まで放冷した。この反応混合物をトルエン20gで希釈し、アセトン50g、メタノール50gおよび28%アンモニア水4gの混合溶液へ投入することで再沈殿させた。析出した沈殿物をろ過し、減圧乾燥した後、得られた固体をトルエン20gに再溶解させ、アセトン50gおよびメタノール50gの混合溶液へ投入することで再度再沈殿させた。析出した沈殿物をろ過し、130℃で6時間減圧乾燥し、目的とする高分岐ポリマーPTPA-TFMBA(以下、単にPTPA-TFMBAという)0.99gを得た。
得られたPTPA-TFMBAの、GPCによるポリスチレン換算で測定される重量平均分子量Mwは7,200、多分散度Mw/Mnは1.78であった。
窒素下、100mL四口フラスコに、トリフェニルアミン3.0g(12.2mmol)、ベンズアルデヒド[純正化学(株)製、以下同様]1.3g(12.3mmol(1.01eq))、パラトルエンスルホン酸一水和物[関東化学(株)製]0.26g(1.4mmol(0.1eq))、および1,4-ジオキサン3.0gを仕込んだ。この混合物を撹拌しながら100℃まで昇温し、溶解させ、重合を開始した。2時間反応させた後、反応混合物を60℃まで放冷した。この反応混合物をクロロホルム20gで希釈し、メタノール100gへ投入することで再沈殿させた。析出した沈殿物をろ過し、得られた固体をクロロホルム20gに再溶解させ、アセトン100gへ投入することで再度再沈殿させた。析出した沈殿物をろ過し、60℃で10時間減圧乾燥し、目的とする高分岐ポリマーPTPA-BA-1(以下、単にPTPA-BA-1という)2.8gを得た。
得られたPTPA-BA-1の、GPCによるポリスチレン換算で測定される重量平均分子量Mwは11,000、多分散度Mw/Mnは2.75であった。
窒素下、100mL四口フラスコに、トリフェニルアミン3.0g(12.2mmol)、ベンズアルデヒド2.0g(18.4mmol(1.5eq))、パラトルエンスルホン酸一水和物[関東化学(株)製]0.24g(1.3mmol(0.1eq))、および1,4-ジオキサン3.0gを仕込んだ。この混合物を撹拌しながら100℃まで昇温し、溶解させ、重合を開始した。1時間40分反応させた後、反応混合物を60℃まで放冷した。この反応混合物をTHF10gで希釈し、アセトン100gへ投入することで再沈殿させた。析出した沈殿物をろ過し、60℃で10時間減圧乾燥し、目的とする高分岐ポリマーPTPA-BA-2(以下、単にPTPA-BA-2という)2.3gを得た。
得られたPTPA-BA-2の、GPCによるポリスチレン換算で測定される重量平均分子量Mwは81,000、多分散度Mw/Mnは12.04であった。
窒素下、50mL四口フラスコに、トリフェニルアミン0.5g(2.1mmol)、4-(N,N-ジフェニルアミノ)ベンズアルデヒド[東京化成工業(株)製]1.1g(4.1mmol(2.0eq))、パラトルエンスルホン酸一水和物[純正化学(株)製]0.19g(1.0mmol(0.5eq))、および1,4-ジオキサン2.0gを仕込んだ。この混合物を撹拌しながら100℃まで昇温し、溶解させ、重合を開始した。3時間反応させた後、反応混合物を60℃まで放冷した。この反応混合物をTHF10gで希釈し、アセトン50g、メタノール50gおよび28%アンモニア水4gの混合溶液へ投入することで再沈殿させた。析出した沈殿物をろ過し、減圧乾燥した後、得られた固体をTHF10gに再溶解させ、アセトン50gおよびメタノール50gの混合溶液へ投入することで再度再沈殿させた。析出した沈殿物をろ過し、130℃で6時間減圧乾燥し、目的とする高分岐ポリマーPTPA-DPABA(以下、単にPTPA-DPABAという)0.64gを得た。
得られたPTPA-DPABAの、GPCによるポリスチレン換算で測定される重量平均分子量Mwは13,000、多分散度Mw/Mnは2.89であった。
窒素下、100mL四口フラスコに、トリフェニルアミン5.0g(20.4mmol)、36~38%ホルムアルデヒド液[和光純薬工業(株)製]2.6g(30.6mmol(1.5eq))、パラトルエンスルホン酸一水和物[関東化学(株)製]0.41g(2.1mmol(0.1eq))、および1,4-ジオキサン5.0gを仕込んだ。この混合物を撹拌しながら110℃まで昇温し、溶解させ、重合を開始した。2時間反応させた後、反応混合物を60℃まで放冷した。この反応混合物をTHF17gで希釈し、アセトン85gおよびヘキサン85gの混合溶液へ投入することで再沈殿させた。析出した沈殿物をろ過し、得られた固体をTHF17gに再溶解させ、アセトン85gおよびヘキサン85gの混合溶液へ投入することで再度再沈殿させた。析出した沈殿物をろ過し、60℃で10時間減圧乾燥し、目的とする高分岐ポリマーPTPA-FA(以下、単にPTPA-FAという)2.6gを得た。
得られたPTPA-FAの、GPCによるポリスチレン換算で測定される重量平均分子量Mwは4,700、多分散度Mw/Mnは1.79であった。
窒素下、100mL四口フラスコにジフェニルアミン[東京化成工業(株)製]2.0g(11.8mmol)、ベンズアルデヒド1.3g(11.9mmol(1.01eq))、パラトルエンスルホン酸一水和物[関東化学(株)製]0.25g(1.3mmol(0.1eq))、および1,4-ジオキサン2.0gを仕込んだ。この混合物を撹拌しながら100℃まで昇温し、溶解させ、重合を開始した。2時間反応させた後、反応混合物を60℃まで放冷した。この反応混合物をTHF20gで希釈し、メタノール70gへ投入することで再沈殿させた。析出した沈殿物をろ過し、60℃で10時間減圧乾燥し、目的とする直鎖ポリマーPDPA-BA(以下、単にPDPA-BAという)2.7gを得た。
得られたPDPA-BAの、GPCによるポリスチレン換算で測定される重量平均分子量Mwは32,000、多分散度Mw/Mnは5.78であった。
トリフェニルアミンを繰り返し単位として有する高分岐ポリマーの末端ブロモ体PTPA-Br(以下、単にPTPA-Brという)を、特開平10-306143号公報に記載された、トリス(4-ブロモフェニル)アミンのモノグリニャール化合物をニッケル(II)錯体の存在下で重縮合させる方法により合成した。
得られたPTPA-Brの、GPCによるポリスチレン換算で測定される重量平均分子量Mwは5,400であった。
[実施例7]PTPA-BA-1を用いたCNT-1の分散(1)
分散剤として合成例1で合成したPTPA-BA-1 0.50gをNMP49.25gに溶解させ、この溶液へMWCNTとしてCNT-1 0.25gを添加した。この混合物に、プローブ型超音波照射装置を用いて室温(およそ25℃)で30分間超音波処理を行い、沈降物がなくMWCNTが均一に分散した黒色のMWCNT含有分散液を得た。
上記MWCNT含有分散液1.0gに、ブチルセロソルブ0.25gを添加し、薄膜作製用の組成物を調製した。得られた組成物50μLを、スリット幅25.4μmのアプリケータを用いてガラス基板上に均一に展開し、100℃でおよそ2分間乾燥することで透明で均一なMWCNT/PTPA-BA-1薄膜複合体を作製した。
PTPA-BA-1の添加量を0.25gに、NMPの量を49.50gにそれぞれ変更した以外は、実施例7と同様にしてMWCNT含有分散液およびMWCNT/PTPA-BA-1薄膜複合体を作製した。
分散剤を合成例2で合成したPTPA-BA-2に変更した以外は、実施例7と同様にしてMWCNT含有分散液およびMWCNT/PTPA-BA-2薄膜複合体を作製した。
分散剤を実施例1で合成したPTPA-pAAに変更した以外は、実施例7と同様にしてMWCNT含有分散液およびMWCNT/PTPA-pAA薄膜複合体を作製した。
分散剤およびその添加量を実施例1で合成したPTPA-pAA 0.25gに、NMPの量を49.50gにそれぞれ変更した以外は、実施例7と同様にしてMWCNT含有分散液およびMWCNT/PTPA-pAA薄膜複合体を作製した。
分散剤を実施例2で合成したPTPA-PBA-1に変更した以外は、実施例7と同様にしてMWCNT含有分散液およびMWCNT/PTPA-BA-1薄膜複合体を作製した。
分散剤を実施例4で合成したPTPA-TAに変更した以外は、実施例7と同様にしてMWCNT含有分散液およびMWCNT/PTPA-TA薄膜複合体を作製した。
分散剤を実施例5で合成したPTPA-TPAに変更した以外は、実施例7と同様にしてMWCNT含有分散液およびMWCNT/PTPA-TPA薄膜複合体を作製した。
分散剤を合成例3で合成したPTPA-DPABAに変更した以外は、実施例7と同様にしてMWCNT含有分散液およびMWCNT/PTPA-DPABA薄膜複合体を作製した。
分散剤を合成例4で合成したPTPA-FAに変更した以外は、実施例7と同様にしてMWCNT含有分散液およびMWCNT/PTPA-FA薄膜複合体を作製した。
分散剤を参考例1で合成したPDPA-BAに変更した以外は、実施例7と同様にしてMWCNT含有分散液およびMWCNT/PDPA-BA薄膜複合体を作製した。
分散剤をPVPに変更した以外は、実施例7と同様にしてMWCNT含有分散液およびMWCNT/PVP薄膜複合体を作製した。

また、例えば実施例7および実施例10,14との比較、並びに実施例8および実施例11との比較で明らかなように、本発明の分散剤は、反応に用いるアルデヒド類(官能基)により得られる薄膜複合体の特性(表面抵抗値、全光透過率)が調整可能であり、このような点でも有利であることが明らかとなった。
分散剤として合成例1で合成したPTPA-BA-1 1mgをNMP5mLに溶解させ、この溶液へSWCNTとしてCNT-2 0.5mgを添加した。この混合物に、超音波洗浄器を用いて室温で1時間超音波処理を行い、室温(およそ25℃)で10,000G、1時間の遠心分離により、上澄み液として黒色透明なSWCNT含有分散液を回収した。
得られた黒色透明なSWCNT含有分散液の紫外可視近赤外吸収スペクトルを測定したところ、半導体性S11バンド(1,400~1,000nm)、S22バンド(1,000~600nm)、および金属性バンド(600~450nm)の吸収が明確に観察され、SWCNTが孤立分散状態にまで分散されていることが確認された。
さらに、得られたSWCNT含有分散液の近赤外蛍光スペクトルを測定したところ、孤立分散している半導体性CNTのみに観察されるカイラリティーに対応した蛍光発光が観察され、このことからもSWCNTが孤立分散していることが確認された。
得られたSWCNT含有分散液を、ポリエチレンテレフタレート(PET)製の基板上に滴下し、スリット幅27μmのバーコーターで展開し、透明で均一なCNT-2/PTPA-BA-1薄膜複合体を得た。
SWCNTをCNT-3に変更した以外は、実施例17と同様にして、黒色透明なSWCNT含有分散液を作製し、これを評価した。その紫外可視近赤外吸収スペクトル測定から、半導体性S11バンド、S22バンド、および金属性バンドの吸収が明確に観察され、SWCNTが孤立分散状態にまで分散されていることが確認された。
また、この分散液を実施例17と同様にPET基板上に滴下し、スリット幅27μmのバーコーターで展開し、透明で均一なCNT-3/PTPA-BA-1薄膜複合体を得た。
分散剤を実施例2で合成したPTPA-PBA-1に変更した以外は、実施例17と同様にして、黒色透明なSWCNT含有分散液を作製し、これを評価した。その紫外可視近赤外吸収スペクトル測定から、SWCNTが孤立分散している時に確認される吸収の強度が実施例17の場合よりも強く観察され、SWCNTがより高濃度で孤立分散状態にまで分散されていることが確認された。

分散剤を実施例3で合成したPTPA-PBA-2に、SWCNTをCNT-3に変更した以外は、実施例17と同様にして、黒色透明なSWCNT含有分散液を作製し、これを評価した。その紫外可視近赤外吸収スペクトル測定から、SWCNTが孤立分散している時に確認される吸収の強度が実施例18の場合よりも強く観察され、SWCNTがより高濃度で孤立分散状態にまで分散されていることが確認された。

実施例22において、CNT-3添加量を1.0mgに変更した以外は、実施例17と同様にして、黒色透明なSWCNT含有分散液を作製し、これを評価した。その紫外可視近赤外吸収スペクトル測定から、SWCNTが孤立分散している時に確認される吸収の強度が実施例22の場合よりも強く観察され、SWCNTがより高濃度で孤立分散状態にまで分散されていることが確認された。
実施例22において、CNT-3添加量を2.5mgに変更した以外は、実施例17と同様にして、黒色透明なSWCNT含有分散液を作製し、これを評価した。その紫外可視近赤外吸収スペクトル測定から、SWCNTが孤立分散している時に確認される吸収の強度が実施例23の場合よりも更に強く観察され、SWCNTがより高濃度で孤立分散状態にまで分散されていることが確認された。
なお、実施例22~24で得られた分散液の紫外可視近赤外吸収スペクトルを図4に示す。
分散剤を実施例4で合成したPTPA-TAに変更した以外は、実施例17と同様にして、黒色透明なSWCNT含有分散液を作製し、これを評価した。その紫外可視近赤外吸収スペクトル測定から、SWCNTが孤立分散している時に確認される吸収の強度が実施例17の場合よりも強く観察され、SWCNTがより高濃度で孤立分散状態にまで分散されていることが確認された。
分散剤を実施例4で合成したPTPA-TAに、SWCNTをCNT-3に変更した以外は、実施例17と同様にして、黒色透明なSWCNT含有分散液を作製し、これを評価した。その紫外可視近赤外吸収スペクトル測定から、SWCNTが孤立分散している時に確認される吸収の強度が実施例18の場合よりも強く観察され、SWCNTがより高濃度で孤立分散状態にまで分散されていることが確認された。
分散剤を実施例6で合成したPTPA-TFMBAに変更した以外は、実施例17と同様にして、黒色透明なSWCNT含有分散液を作製し、これを評価した。その紫外可視近赤外吸収スペクトル測定から、SWCNTが孤立分散している時に確認される吸収の強度が実施例17の場合よりも強く観察され、SWCNTがより高濃度で孤立分散状態にまで分散されていることが確認された。
分散剤を実施例6で合成したPTPA-TFMBAに、SWCNTをCNT-3に変更した以外は、実施例17と同様にして、黒色透明なSWCNT含有分散液を作製し、これを評価した。その紫外可視近赤外吸収スペクトル測定から、SWCNTが孤立分散している時に確認される吸収の強度が実施例18の場合よりも強く観察され、SWCNTがより高濃度で孤立分散状態にまで分散されていることが確認された。

分散剤のPTPA-BA-1を添加しない以外は実施例17と同様の操作を行ったが、SWCNTを分散させることはできなかった。
分散剤を参考例2で合成したPTPA-Brに変更した以外は、実施例17と同様にして、黒味を帯びた透明なSWCNT含有分散液を作製し、これを評価した。しかし、その紫外可視近赤外吸収スペクトル測定では、SWCNTが孤立分散している時に確認される吸収の強度は実施例17の場合と比較して弱く、SWCNTを高濃度で孤立分散状態にまで分散させることは困難であった。
分散剤をPVPに変更した以外は、実施例17と同様にして、黒味を帯びた透明なSWCNT含有分散液を作製し、これを評価した。しかし、その紫外可視近赤外吸収スペクトル測定では、SWCNTが孤立分散している時に確認される吸収の強度は実施例17の場合と比較して非常に弱く、SWCNTを孤立分散状態にまで分散させることは困難であった。
分散剤をPVPに、SWCNTをCNT-3に変更した以外は、実施例17と同様にして、黒色透明なSWCNT含有分散液を作製し、これを評価した。しかし、その紫外可視近赤外吸収スペクトル測定では、SWCNTが孤立分散している時に確認される吸収の強度は実施例18の場合と比較して弱く、SWCNTを高濃度で孤立分散状態にまで分散させることは困難であった。
[実施例33]高分岐ポリマーPTPA-PBA-3の合成
窒素下、100mL四口フラスコに、トリフェニルアミン[Zhenjiang Haitong Chemical Industry社製]8.0g(32.6mmol)、4-フェニルベンズアルデヒド[三菱ガス化学(株)製、製品名4-BPAL]11.9g(65.2mmol(2.0eq))、パラトルエンスルホン酸一水和物[江南化工(株)製]1.2g(6.5mmol(0.2eq))、および1,4-ジオキサン16gを仕込んだ。この混合物を撹拌しながら85℃まで昇温し、溶解させ、重合を開始した。4時間30分反応させた後、反応混合物を60℃まで放冷した。この反応混合物をTHF40gで希釈し、メタノール400gおよび28%アンモニア水4gの混合溶液へ投入することで再沈殿させた。析出した沈殿物をろ過し、130℃で6時間乾燥し、目的とする高分岐ポリマーPTPA-PBA-3(以下、単にPTPA-PBA-3という)14.9gを得た。
PTPA-PBA-3の、GPCによるポリスチレン換算で測定される重量平均分子量Mwは13,000、多分散度Mw/Mnは3.39であった。
窒素下、1L四口フラスコに、トリフェニルアミン[Zhenjiang Haitong Chemical Industry社製]80.0g(326mmol)、4-フェニルベンズアルデヒド[三菱ガス化学(株)製、製品名4-BPAL]118.9g(652mmol(2.0eq))、パラトルエンスルホン酸一水和物[江南化工(株)製]12.4g(65mmol(0.2eq))、および1,4-ジオキサン160gを仕込んだ。この混合物を撹拌しながら85℃まで昇温し、溶解させ、重合を開始した。6時間反応させた後、反応混合物を60℃まで放冷した。この反応混合物をTHF560gで希釈し、28%アンモニア水80gを加えた。その混合溶液をメタノール4000gへ投入することで再沈殿させた。析出した沈殿物をろ過し、減圧乾燥した後、得られた固体をTHF640gに再溶解させ、メタノール4000gへ投入することで再度再沈殿させた。析出した沈殿物をろ過し、130℃で6時間乾燥し、目的とする高分岐ポリマーPTPA-PBA-4(以下、単にPTPA-PBA-4という)122.9gを得た。
PTPA-PBA-4の、GPCによるポリスチレン換算で測定される重量平均分子量Mwは19,000、多分散度Mw/Mnは4.35であった。
窒素下、200mL四口フラスコに、トリフェニルアミン[東京化成工業(株)製]5.0g(20.4mmol、)、4-フェニルベンズアルデヒド[東京化成工業(株)製]7.4g(40.8mmol(2.0eq))、パラトルエンスルホン酸一水和物[純正化学(株)製]1.2g(6.1mmol(0.3eq))、および1,4-ジオキサン10gを仕込んだ。この混合物を撹拌しながら100℃まで昇温し、溶解させ、重合を開始した。45分間反応させた後、反応混合物を60℃まで放冷した。この反応混合物をTHF100gで希釈し、アセトン250g、メタノール250gおよび28%アンモニア水20gの混合溶液へ投入することで再沈殿させた。析出した沈殿物をろ過し、減圧乾燥した後、得られた固体をTHF100gに再溶解させ、アセトン250gおよびメタノール250gの混合溶液へ投入することで再度再沈殿させた。析出した沈殿物をろ過し、130℃で6時間減圧乾燥し、目的とする高分岐ポリマーPTPA-PBA-5(以下、単にPTPA-PBA-5という)5.7gを得た。
PTPA-PBA-5の、GPCによるポリスチレン換算で測定される重量平均分子量Mwは5,400、多分散度Mw/Mnは1.90であった。
窒素下、1L四口フラスコに、トリフェニルアミン[Zhenjiang Haitong Chemical Industry社製]80.0g(326mmol)、4-フェニルベンズアルデヒド[三菱ガス化学(株)製、製品名4-BPAL]118.8g(652mmol(2.0eq))、パラトルエンスルホン酸一水和物[江南化工(株)製]12.4g(65.2mmol(0.2eq))、および1,4-ジオキサン160gを仕込んだ。この混合物を撹拌しながら85℃まで昇温し、溶解させ、重合を開始した。6時間反応させた後、反応混合物を60℃まで放冷した。この反応混合物をTHF560gで希釈し、28%アンモニア水80gを加えた。その混合溶液をアセトン2000gおよび水400gの混合溶液へ投入することで再沈殿させた。析出した沈殿物をろ過し、減圧乾燥した後、得られた固体をTHF640gに再溶解させ、アセトン2000gおよび水400gの混合溶液へ投入することで再度再沈殿させた。析出した沈殿物をろ過し、130℃で6時間乾燥し、目的とする高分岐ポリマーPTPA-PBA-6(以下、単にPTPA-PBA-6という)115.1gを得た。
PTPA-PBA-6の、GPCによるポリスチレン換算で測定される重量平均分子量Mwは17,000、多分散度Mw/Mnは3.82であった。
[実施例37]PTPA-PBA-3を用いたCNT-1の分散
分散剤として実施例33で合成したPTPA-PBA-3 0.50gをNMP49.25gに溶解させ、この溶液へMWCNTとしてCNT-1 0.25gを添加した。この混合物に、プローブ型超音波照射装置を用いて室温(およそ25℃)で30分間超音波処理を行い、沈降物がなくMWCNTが均一に分散した黒色のMWCNT含有分散液を得た。
上記MWCNT含有分散液1.0gに、CHN0.25gを添加し、薄膜作製用の組成物を調製した。得られた組成物50μLを、スリット幅25.4μmのアプリケータを用いてガラス基板上に均一に展開し、100℃でおよそ2分間乾燥することで透明で均一なMWCNT/PTPA-PBA-3薄膜複合体を作製した。
得られた薄膜複合体の薄膜均一性、表面抵抗および全光透過率を評価した。なお、薄膜の均一性については、目視により、以下の基準に従って評価した。評価結果を表2に示す。また、別途、得られたMWCNT含有分散液を、室温(およそ25℃)で1ヶ月静置後、分散液中の沈降物の存在を目視にて確認し、以下の基準に従って、本分散液の分散安定性を評価した。評価結果を表2に併せて示す。
<薄膜均一性>

分散剤をPVPに、MWCNTをCNT-9に変更した以外は、実施例37と同様にMWCNT含有分散液を作製し評価を行った。評価結果を表2に併せて示す。
またMWCNT種が同一である実施例39と比較例11(CNT-5)、実施例41と比較例13(CNT-7)、実施例42と比較例14(CNT-8)、実施例43と比較例15(CNT-9)をそれぞれ比較すると、本発明の分散剤を用いて作製したMWCNT薄膜複合体は、公知の分散剤であるPVPを用いた場合よりも表面抵抗値が1~2桁程も低く、全光透過率も同等以上であった。これらの結果から、本発明の分散剤が高導電性で均一な薄膜複合体を得る上で、有利であることが明らかとなった。
さらに、より外径が細いMWCNT(CNT-4)の分散では、表2に示されるように、本発明の分散剤を用いた場合にのみ、MWCNTが均一に分散したMWCNT含有分散液が得られ、薄膜複合体の調製が可能であった。CNT-4のようなより外径の細いMWCNTを用いることで、薄膜複合体の透明性の向上が期待できるため、本発明の分散剤は透明性の点でも有利であることが明らかとなった。
以上の結果から、本発明の分散剤が高導電性で均一な薄膜複合体を得る上で有利であると共に、市販のMWCNTの分散において幅広く適用可能であることが明らかとなった。
分散剤として実施例34で合成したPTPA-PBA-4 0.50gをNMP49.25gに溶解させ、この溶液へMWCNTとしてCNT-1 0.25gを添加した。この混合物に、プローブ型超音波照射装置を用いて室温(およそ25℃)で30分間超音波処理を行い、沈降物がなくMWCNTが均一に分散した黒色のMWCNT含有分散液を得た。
上記MWCNT含有分散液10.0gに、ウリル系架橋剤として1,3,4,6-テトラス(メトキシメチル)グリコールウリル0.02g、硬化触媒としてピリジニウムp-トルエンスルホナート0.005g、およびCHN2.5gを添加し、薄膜作製用の組成物を調製した。得られた組成物50μLを、スリット幅25.4μmのアプリケータを用いてガラス基板上に均一に展開し、100℃でおよそ2分間乾燥することで黒色透明で均一なMWCNT/PTPA-PBA-4薄膜複合体を作製した。この薄膜複合体を、さらに250℃で20分間ポストベークし、熱硬化を行った。
得られた薄膜複合体の、熱硬化前後の表面抵抗、全光透過率および鉛筆硬度を評価した。なお、鉛筆硬度については、JIS K5600-5-4に準じて、手かき法により測定した。評価結果を表3に示す。
分散剤として実施例35で合成したPTPA-PBA-5 2mgをNMP50mLに溶解させ、この溶液へSWCNTとしてCNT-3 2mgを添加した。この混合物に、プローブ型超音波照射装置を用いて室温(およそ25℃)で10分間超音波処理を行い、室温(およそ25℃)で10,000G、1時間の遠心分離により、上澄み液として黒色透明なSWCNT含有分散液を回収した。
得られた黒色透明なSWCNT含有分散液を、エアブラシ(窒素圧力0.2MPa)を用いて、230℃のホットプレートで加熱しているガラス基板上にスプレー塗布することで、均一なSWCNT/PTPA-PBA-5薄膜複合体を作製した。また、エアブラシによりスプレー塗布するSWCNT含有分散液の量を調整することで、膜厚の異なる薄膜複合体を作製し、得られた薄膜複合体の表面抵抗及び全光透過率を評価した。評価結果を全光透過率に対する表面抵抗の関係として図5に示す。また、全光透過率が約90%の薄膜複合体の表面抵抗を表4に示す。
SWCNTをCNT-10に変更した以外は、実施例45と同様にSWCNT含有分散液を作製し評価を行った。評価結果を図5および表4に併せて示す。
SWCNTをCNT-11に変更した以外は、実施例45と同様にSWCNT含有分散液を作製し評価を行った。評価結果を図5および表4に併せて示す。
SWCNTをCNT-12に変更した以外は、実施例45と同様にSWCNT含有分散液を作製し評価を行った。評価結果を図5および表4に併せて示す。
分散剤をPVPに変更した以外は、実施例45と同様の操作を行ったが、SWCNTの分散性が低く、均一な薄膜複合体の作製および評価が困難であった。
分散剤をPVPに、SWCNTをCNT-10に変更した以外は、実施例45と同様の操作を行ったが、SWCNTの分散性が低く、均一な薄膜複合体の作製および評価が困難であった。
分散剤をPVPに、SWCNTをCNT-11に変更した以外は、実施例45と同様の操作を行ったが、SWCNTの分散性が低く、均一な薄膜複合体の作製および評価が困難であった。
分散剤をPVPに、SWCNTをCNT-12に変更した以外は、実施例45と同様の操作を行ったが、SWCNTの分散性が低く、均一な薄膜複合体の作製および評価が困難であった。
さらに表4に示されるように、全光透過率が約90%の薄膜複合体の表面抵抗は103~104Ω/□レベルであり、同程度の表面抵抗を示す薄膜複合体で比較すると、MWCNTを用いた場合と比較して全光透過率の高い薄膜複合体を調製できる。このことから、本発明の分散剤とSWCNTを用いることで薄膜複合体の透明性の向上が期待でき、高導電性かつ高透明性で均一な薄膜複合体を得る上で、有利であることが明らかとなった。
[実施例49]PTPA-PBA-6を用いたCNT-1と熱可塑性樹脂の複合化
マトリックス樹脂としてポリアミド樹脂[(株)クラレ製 “ジェネスタPA9MT”]3.82g、MWCNTとしてCNT-1 0.04g(全体の1質量%)、および分散剤として実施例36で合成したPTPA-PBA-6 0.04g(全体の1質量%、CNT:分散剤=1:1)を、混練機[(株)東洋精機製作所製 “ラボプラストミルマイクロ”(混練部ミキサ容量5mL)]を用いて、温度270℃、回転数50rpm(実効回転数150rpm)で5分間溶融混練し、複合化させた。
得られた複合体をペレタイズし、直径2.5cm、厚さ約2mmの真鋳製の金型に充填した後、270℃でホットプレスすることにより円盤状の成形体を作製した。得られた成形体の表面抵抗を高抵抗率計[三菱化学(株)製 “ハイレスタUP”(URSプローブ、レジテーブルを接続して使用)]により、印加電圧1000Vとして評価した。評価結果を表5に示す。
ポリアミド樹脂の添加量を3.86gに変更し、分散剤を添加しなかった以外は、実施例49と同様に成形体を作製し評価を行った。評価結果を表5に併せて示す。
以上の点から、本発明の分散剤が幅広い応用に向けて、均一な分散液・薄膜複合体を得る上で有利であることが明らかとなった。
[実施例50]高分岐ポリマーPTPA-NAの合成
窒素下、100mL四口フラスコに、トリフェニルアミン3.0g(12.2mmol)、1-ナフトアルデヒド[純正化学(株)製]2.0g(12.5mmol(トリフェニルアミンに対して1.02eq))、パラトルエンスルホン酸一水和物[関東化学(株)製]0.26g(1.4mmol(0.1eq))、および1,4-ジオキサン3.0gを仕込んだ。この混合物を撹拌しながら100℃まで昇温し、溶解させ、重合を開始した。2時間反応させた後、反応混合物を60℃まで放冷した。この反応混合物をクロロホルム20gで希釈し、メタノール100gへ投入することで再沈殿させた。析出した沈殿物をろ過し、得られた固体をクロロホルム20gに再溶解させ、アセトン100gへ投入することで再度再沈殿させた。析出した沈殿物をろ過し、60℃で10時間減圧乾燥し、目的とする高分岐ポリマーPTPA-NA(以下、単にPTPA-NAという)2.3gを得た。
得られたPTPA-NAの、GPCによるポリスチレン換算で測定される重量平均分子量Mwは3,400、多分散度Mw/Mnは1.49であった。
窒素下、100mL四口フラスコに、トリフェニルアミン5.0g(20.4mmol)、9-アントラセンカルボキシアルデヒド[純正化学(株)製]4.3g(20.6mmol(1.01eq))、パラトルエンスルホン酸一水和物[関東化学(株)製]1.5g(7.6mmol(0.4eq))、および1,4-ジオキサン5.0gを仕込んだ。この混合物を撹拌しながら100℃まで昇温し、溶解させ、重合を開始した。2時間反応させた後、反応混合物を60℃まで放冷した。この反応混合物をクロロホルム20gで希釈し、メタノール200gへ投入することで再沈殿させた。析出した沈殿物をろ過し、得られた固体をクロロホルム20gに再溶解させ、アセトン200gへ投入することで再度再沈殿させた。析出した沈殿物をろ過し、60℃で10時間減圧乾燥し、目的とする高分岐ポリマーPTPA-AA(以下、単にPTPA-AAという)4.1gを得た。
得られたPTPA-AAの、GPCによるポリスチレン換算で測定される重量平均分子量Mwは2,900、多分散度Mw/Mnは1.31であった。
窒素下、100mL四口フラスコに、トリフェニルアミン10.0g(40.8mmol)、ベンズアルデヒド[純正化学(株)製、以下同様]6.5g(61.4mmol(1.52eq))、パラトルエンスルホン酸一水和物[関東化学(株)製]0.81g(4.3mmol(0.1eq))、および1,4-ジオキサン10gを仕込んだ。この混合物を撹拌しながら100℃まで昇温し、溶解させ、重合を開始した。2時間反応させた後、反応混合物を60℃まで放冷した。この反応混合物をクロロホルム30gで希釈し、メタノール300gへ投入することで再沈殿させた。析出した沈殿物をろ過し、得られた固体をクロロホルム30gに再溶解させ、アセトン300gへ投入することで再度再沈殿させた。析出した沈殿物をろ過し、60℃で10時間減圧乾燥し、目的とする高分岐ポリマーPTPA-BA(以下、単にPTPA-BA-3という)8.7gを得た。
得られたPTPA-BA-3の、GPCによるポリスチレン換算で測定される重量平均分子量Mwは7,800、多分散度Mw/Mnは2.10であった。
窒素下、100mL四口フラスコにジフェニルアミン[東京化成工業(株)製]2.0g(11.8mmol)、ベンズアルデヒド1.3g(11.9mmol(1.01eq))、パラトルエンスルホン酸一水和物[関東化学(株)製]0.25g(1.3mmol(0.1eq))、および1,4-ジオキサン4.0gを仕込んだ。この混合物を撹拌しながら100℃まで昇温して溶解させ、重合を開始した。45分間反応させた後、反応混合物を60℃まで放冷した。この反応混合物をクロロホルム20gで希釈し、メタノール100gへ投入することで再沈殿させた。析出した沈殿物をろ過し、得られた固体をクロロホルム8gに再溶解させ、メタノール100gへ投入することで再度再沈殿させた。析出した沈殿物をろ過し、60℃で10時間減圧乾燥し、目的とする直鎖ポリマーPDPA-BA(以下、単にPDPA-BAという)2.3gを得た。
得られたPDPA-BAの、GPCによるポリスチレン換算で測定される重量平均分子量Mwは9,900、多分散度Mw/Mnは2.47であった。
上記実施例1,2,4,5,50,51、合成例5および参考例3で得られた各ポリマーについて、DSCによりガラス転移温度(Tg)を、TG-DTAにより5%重量減少温度(Td5%)をそれぞれ測定した。結果を表6に示す。
実施例1,2,4,5,50,51および合成例5で得られた高分岐ポリマー1.0gをそれぞれCHN9.0gに溶解させ、各高分岐ポリマーの10質量%ワニスを薄黄色透明溶液として得た。
得られたワニスを、ガラス基板上にスピンコーターを用いて膜厚がおよそ300nmとなるように塗布した。この塗布膜を、100℃のホットプレートで1分間、さらに250℃で5分間焼成し、各高分岐ポリマーの薄膜をそれぞれ得た。
得られた薄膜それぞれについて、エリプソメーターにより550nmおよび633nmにおける屈折率、ならびに膜厚を測定した。結果を表6に併せて示す。また、得られた薄膜の光透過率スペクトルを図6~12に示す。
参考例3で得られたPDPA-BA-2について、実施例52と同様に薄膜を作製し評価を行った。結果を表6に併せて示す。また、光透過率スペクトルを図13に示す。
また、図6~13に示されるように、実施例52~58で得られた薄膜は、比較例21で得られた薄膜に比べて可視光領域である400~800nmの透過率が高く、高い透明性を有していることが確認された。
Claims (35)
- トリアリールアミン化合物と、アルデヒド化合物および/またはケトン化合物とを、酸触媒の存在下で縮合重合することで得られる高分岐ポリマーからなることを特徴とするカーボンナノチューブ分散剤。
- 前記高分岐ポリマーのゲル浸透クロマトグラフィーによるポリスチレン換算で測定される重量平均分子量が、1,000~2,000,000である請求項1記載のカーボンナノチューブ分散剤。
- 前記高分岐ポリマーが、式(1)または式(2)で表される繰り返し単位を有する請求項2記載のカーボンナノチューブ分散剤。
- 前記Z2が、水素原子である請求項3または4記載のカーボンナノチューブ分散剤。
- 請求項1~7のいずれか1項記載のカーボンナノチューブ分散剤と、カーボンナノチューブとを含む組成物。
- 前記カーボンナノチューブ分散剤が、前記カーボンナノチューブの表面に付着して複合体を形成している請求項8記載の組成物。
- さらに有機溶媒を含む請求項8または9記載の組成物。
- 前記カーボンナノチューブが、前記有機溶媒に孤立分散している請求項10記載の組成物。
- 前記複合体が、前記有機溶媒に孤立分散している請求項10記載の組成物。
- 前記カーボンナノチューブが、単層カーボンナノチューブ、2層カーボンナノチューブおよび多層カーボンナノチューブから選ばれる少なくとも1種である請求項8~12のいずれか1項記載の組成物。
- さらに有機溶媒に可溶な架橋剤を含む請求項10~13のいずれか1項記載の組成物。
- さらに酸および/または酸発生剤を含む請求項14記載の組成物。
- 請求項8~15のいずれか1項記載の組成物から得られる薄膜。
- 請求項14または15記載の組成物から得られる薄膜に、熱処理を施すことで得られる硬化膜。
- さらにマトリックスとなる樹脂を含む請求項8記載の組成物。
- 前記マトリックスとなる樹脂が、熱可塑性樹脂である請求項18記載の組成物。
- 前記カーボンナノチューブが、単層カーボンナノチューブ、2層カーボンナノチューブおよび多層カーボンナノチューブから選ばれる少なくとも1種である請求項18または19記載の組成物。
- 請求項1~7のいずれか1項記載のカーボンナノチューブ分散剤、カーボンナノチューブ、および有機溶媒を混合して混合物を調製する工程と、この混合物を機械的処理する工程とを含むことを特徴とする組成物の製造方法。
- 前記カーボンナノチューブ分散剤を前記有機溶媒に溶かしてなる溶液中に、前記カーボンナノチューブを添加して前記混合物を調製する工程と、この混合物を機械的処理する工程とを含むことを特徴とする請求項21記載の製造方法。
- 請求項1~7のいずれか1項記載のカーボンナノチューブ分散剤、カーボンナノチューブ、および熱可塑性樹脂を溶融混練により複合化させることを特徴とする組成物の製造方法。
- 式(1)または式(2)で表される繰り返し単位を有することを特徴とする高分岐ポリマー。
- ゲル浸透クロマトグラフィーによるポリスチレン換算で測定される重量平均分子量が、1,000~2,000,000である請求項24記載の高分岐ポリマー。
- 前記Z2が、水素原子である請求項24~26のいずれか1項記載の高分岐ポリマー。
- 請求項24~29のいずれか1項記載の高分岐ポリマーを含む膜形成用組成物。
- 請求項24~29のいずれか1項記載の高分岐ポリマーを含む膜。
- 基材と、この基材上に形成された請求項31記載の膜とを備える電子デバイス。
- 基材と、この基材上に形成された請求項31記載の膜とを備える光学部材。
