Definitions
- the present invention relates to a conductive composition and a conductive composite.
- Carbon nanotubes are materials that can be expected to have high electrical conductivity, and their potential for application in a wide range of fields has been studied as potential materials for nanotechnology. When this CNT is actually used, it is necessary to uniformly disperse the CNT in a polymer as a matrix material in order to achieve high conductivity with a smaller amount.
- Dispersion methods can be broadly classified into a method of modifying the carbon nanotubes themselves to facilitate dispersion in the matrix material and a method of using a dispersant such as a surfactant or a polymer. Among them, a method using a dispersant is generally used because it can be uniformly highly dispersed while maintaining conductivity.
- Another viewpoint in the development of dispersants is the classification of conjugated dispersants such as conductive polymers and insulating non-conjugated dispersants.
- conjugated dispersants such as conductive polymers and insulating non-conjugated dispersants.
- a conductive polymer When a conductive polymer is used, the conductive properties of the resulting composition are improved, but there are problems such as a decrease in transparency due to light absorption of the dispersant and a color tone.
- a non-conjugated dispersant since it is an insulator itself, it causes a rise in the contact resistance of the CNT, and there is a problem that the original conductive characteristics of the CNT are not fully exhibited.
- the present invention has been made in view of such circumstances, and a conductive composition in which carbon nanotubes are stably dispersed and can be efficiently doped without impairing the conductive properties of carbon nanotubes, and obtained therefrom. It is an object of the present invention to provide a conductive composite.
- Patent Document 2 discloses a composition containing a carbon nanotube, a siloxane compound, and an acid generator.
- This acid generator is used as a polymerization initiator for a siloxane compound, and an acid generator is used as a polymerization initiator. There is no description about using it as a dopant precursor. Further, the dispersant used is a conjugated dispersant and not a non-conjugated dispersant of the composition of the present invention.

- Example 2 Production 2 of conductive composition and conductive composite containing photoacid generator Except that the dopant was changed to PI 8 mg as a photoacid generator, the same operation as in Example 1 was carried out to prepare a conductive composition, produce a conductive composite, and evaluate it. The results are also shown in Table 1. When the ultraviolet-visible near-infrared absorption spectrum was measured about the obtained electrically conductive composition coating liquid similarly to Example 1, it was confirmed that SWCNT is disperse
- Example 3 Preparation 1 of conductive composition and conductive composite containing thermal acid generator
- the dopant was changed to PTSA-CH 8 mg which is a thermal acid generator, and the same operation as in Example 1 was performed except that no light irradiation was performed, and the preparation of the conductive composition, the preparation of the conductive composite, and the evaluation were performed. - the improvement effect is seen. That is, in Example 1 using a photo-acid generator, it turns out that the surface resistivity falls about 1 digit after light irradiation, and the electrical conductivity improvement effect by dope is exhibited.
- the photoacid generator used in Example 2 has a relatively low heat-resistant temperature, it is considered that acid is generated by the heat during spray coating (acts as a thermal acid generator). Although no decrease in surface resistivity was observed after irradiation, the effect of improving conductivity comparable to that of Example 1 was exhibited by doping with heat.
- Example 3 using the thermal acid generator, it can be seen that the same conductivity improvement effect as that of Example 1 is exhibited by the dope due to heat during spray coating. Moreover, in the comparative example 2 using an organic acid dopant, it turns out that a conductive composite is not obtained as a result of being unable to prepare a stable CNT dispersion liquid. In Example 2, a slight increase in surface resistivity was observed before and after the light irradiation, but as a similar tendency was observed in Comparative Example 1, the result was that CNT deteriorated by the light irradiation. It is guessed.
- Example 4 Production of Conductive Composition and Conductive Composite Containing Photoacid Generator 3 [Preparation of conductive composition]
- 20 mg of PTPA-PBA synthesized in Synthesis Example 1 was dissolved in 50 g of NMP, and 10 mg of CNT-2 as SWCNT was added to this solution.
- This mixture was subjected to 50 MPa, 20-pass dispersion treatment at room temperature (approximately 25 ° C.) using a wet jet mill. The mixture was allowed to stand overnight at room temperature (approximately 25 ° C.), and then centrifuged at 10,000 G for 1 hour at room temperature (approximately 25 ° C.) to recover the SWCNT-containing dispersion as a black supernatant.
- Example 5 Production 2 of Conductive Composition and Conductive Composite Containing Thermal Acid Generator 2 Except for changing the dopant to PTSA-CH 8 mg as a thermal acid generator and not irradiating with light, the same operation as in Example 4 was carried out to prepare a conductive composition and to prepare and evaluate a conductive composite. It was. The results are also shown in Table 2. When the ultraviolet-visible near-infrared absorption spectrum was measured about the obtained electrically conductive composition coating liquid similarly to Example 4, it was confirmed that SWCNT is disperse
- Example 4 using a photo-acid generator it turns out that surface resistivity falls to about 1/3 after light irradiation, and the electrical conductivity improvement effect by dope is exhibited.
- Example 5 using the thermal acid generator it can be seen that the conductivity improvement effect of Example 4 or more is exhibited by the dope due to heat at the time of spray coating.
- the comparative example 4 using an organic acid dopant since a stable CNT dispersion liquid cannot be prepared, it turns out that many CNTs are removed by the centrifugation process.
Abstract
