Abstract
Description
(1)表面に酸性基を有する顔料(I)と、一級アミノ基および二級アミノ基から選ばれるアミノ基を分子中に2以上有する塩基性化合物(II)とを、水性媒体中で接触させて、表面に未反応アミノ基を有する顔料を作製した後、さらに、末端イソシアネート基を有するポリウレタン樹脂(III)と接触、反応させることを特徴とするポリウレタン樹脂付加顔料の水性分散体の製造方法、
(2)顔料がカーボンブラックである上記(1)に記載のポリウレタン樹脂付加顔料の水性分散体の製造方法、
(3)表面に酸性基を有する顔料(I)と、一級アミノ基および二級アミノ基から選ばれるアミノ基を分子中に2以上有する塩基性化合物(II)とを、水性媒体中で接触させて、表面に未反応アミノ基を有する顔料を作製した後、さらに、末端イソシアネート基を有するポリウレタン樹脂(III)と接触、反応させてなることを特徴とするポリウレタン樹脂付加顔料の水性分散体、
(4)顔料がカーボンブラックである上記(3)に記載のポリウレタン樹脂付加顔料の水性分散体、
(5)上記(1)もしくは(2)に記載の方法で得られたポリウレタン樹脂付加顔料の水性分散体または上記(3)もしくは(4)に記載のポリウレタン樹脂付加顔料の水性分散体を含むことを特徴とするインク組成物、
を提供するものである。
先ず、本発明のポリウレタン樹脂付加顔料の水性分散体の製造方法について説明する。
で表わされるα、ω―ポリブタジエングリコールG-1000、G-2000、G-3000(日本曹達社製)などが挙げられる。
(ただし、上式において、n:ポリオール類の全モル数、A’:ポリオール類の数平均分子量、B’:ジイソシアネートの数平均分子量である。)
次に、本発明のポリウレタン樹脂付加顔料の水性分散体について説明する。
次に、本発明のインク組成物について説明する。
<NCO基末端水性ポリウレタンの合成>
(1)側鎖ジオールの合成
撹拌棒、乾燥窒素吹き込み管、冷却管付きのフラスコにN,N’-ジエタノールアミン190重量部に対して、共栄社化学製ライトアクリレートNP-4EA(ノニルフェニルテトラエチレンエーテルグリコールアクリレート)を810重量部を仕込み、80℃で7時間反応後、分子側鎖にノニルフェニル鎖を有するジオール(以下、ジオールLKG-1という)を得た。反応物の3級アミン価/全アミン価の商は0.98以上であった。
(2)イソシアネート末端水性ポリウレタンの合成
撹拌棒、窒素ガス吹き込み管、玉入れ冷却管付きのフラスコ中に、メチルエチルケトン400重量部に対して、ジメチロールブタン酸を60.4重量部[2.6モル比]、ひまし油変性ジオールHS-2G-160R(豊国製油社製)を96.1重量部[0.8モル比]、クラレポリエステルジオールP-2050(数平均分子量2066、株式会社クラレ製)を129.7重量部[0.4モル比]、上記(1)で得たジオールLKG-1を104.5重量部[1.2モル比]、イソホロンジイソシアネートを209.3重量部[6モル比]を加えて、65℃にて7時間反応させた。このときの反応溶液のイソシアネート基の重量%は1.35重量%、固形分酸価は38KOHmg/gであった。
表面に酸性基を有するカーボンブラックであるAquaBlack(登録商標)162(東海カーボン社製、固型分濃度19.2重量%)1kgに対し、塩基性化合物であるピペラジン・6H2O (Mw=194)の5%水溶液を51.6g添加し、常温で30分攪拌後、上記ポリウレタン樹脂1(固型分58.0重量%)
を82.8g加え、常温で3時間攪拌し、更に40℃で1時間撹拌することにより、ポリマー付加顔料の水分散体(以下、水性顔料分散体1という)を得た。
<NCO基末端水性ポリウレタンの合成>
(1)側鎖ジオールの合成
実施例1(1)と同じ方法でジオール化合物LKG-1を得た。
(2)イソシアネート末端水性ポリウレタンの合成
撹拌棒、窒素ガス吹き込み管、玉入れ冷却管付きのフラスコにメチルエチルケトン400重量部に対して、ジメチロールブタン酸を60.7重量部[2.8モル比]、ひまし油変性ジオールHS-2G-150(豊国製油製 / 数平均分子量765.3)78.5重量部[0.7モル比]、クラレポリエステルジオールP-2050(数平均分子量2066、株式会社クラレ製)を151.4重量部[0.5モル比]、上記(1)で得たジオールLKG-1を56.9重量部[0.7モル比]、ポリエチレンエーテルグリコール#1000(日本油脂製/ 数平均分子量1002)44重量部[0.3モル比]、イソホロンジイソシアネート(住化バイエルウレタン(株)製ディスモジュール)を114重量部[3.5モル比]、水添MDI(住化バイエルウレタン(株)製ディスモジュールW)を94.5重量部[2.5モル比]を65℃似て7時間反応させた。このときの反応溶液中のイソシアネート基の重量%は1.35重量%、固形分酸価は38KOHmg/gであった。上記反応後、35℃まで冷却して、さらにトリエチルアミンを41.2重量部加えて30分間攪拌することにより、不揮発分61.8重量%、ガードナー気泡粘度:K-L、GPC数平均分子量1790、重量平均分子量4050、NCO基のモル数に対するOH基のモル数の比(OH基のモル数/NCO基のモル数)が5/6であるイソシアネート末端水性ポリウレタン(以下、ポリウレタン樹脂2という)を得た。
表面に酸性基を有するカーボンブラックであるAquaBlack(登録商標)162(東海カーボン社製、固型分濃度19.2重量%)1kgに対し、塩基性化合物であるピペラジン・6H2O (Mw=194)の5%水溶液を1g添加し、常温で30分攪拌後、上記ポリウレタン樹脂2(固型分61.8重量%)を1.2g加え、常温で3時間攪拌することにより、ポリマー付加顔料の水分散体(以下、水性顔料分散体2という)を得た。
<NCO基末端水性ポリウレタンの合成>
実施例2と同じ方法でポリウレタン樹脂2を得た。
<顔料分散体の作製>
表面に酸性基を有するカーボンブラックであるAquaBlack(登録商標)164(東海カーボン(株)製、固型分濃度19.2重量%)1kgに対し、塩基性化合物であるモルホリン (Mw=87.1)の5%水溶液を1g添加し、常温で30分攪拌後、上記ポリウレタン樹脂2(固型分61.8重量%)を3.1g加え、常温で3時間攪拌することにより、ポリマー添加顔料の水分散体(以下、比較水性顔料分散体1という)を得た。
表面に酸性基を有するカーボンブラックであるAquaBlack(登録商標)164(東海カーボン(株)製、固型分濃度19.2重量%)1kgに対し、アニオン型ポリウレタンディスバージョンW-6010(三井化学ポリウレタン社製)[NV30%、平均粒径60nm、pH7.8]32gを加え、常温で3時間攪拌することにより、ポリマー添加顔料の水分散体(以下、比較水性顔料分散体2という)を得た。
(1)実施例1~実施例2および比較例1~比較例2で得た各水性顔料分散体を、顔料濃度でそれぞれ15重量%になるように調製した上で、下記インク処方でインクジェット記録用インク組成物を作製した。
グリセリン 20.0重量%
界面活性剤 0.2重量%
アミン化合物 0.2重量%
脱イオン水 38.4重量%
○:O.D.値:1.4以上
△:O.D.値:1.3以上1.4未満
×:O.D.値:1.3未満
実施例1~実施例2および比較例1~比較例2で得た各水性顔料分散体を、密閉式ガラス瓶に入れインキュベーターおいて70℃で4週間保存して、試験前後における粘度(mPa・s)および粒径(nm)をそれぞれ測定し、以下の基準により、保存安定性評価を行った。結果を表2に示す。
○ : 変化率が全て±5%以内である。
△ : 変化率が±5-10%以内である。
× : 変化率が10%以上である。
Claims (5)
- 表面に酸性基を有する顔料(I)と、一級アミノ基および二級アミノ基から選ばれるアミノ基を分子中に2以上有する塩基性化合物(II)とを、水性媒体中で接触させて、表面に未反応アミノ基を有する顔料を作製した後、さらに、末端イソシアネート基を有するポリウレタン樹脂(III)と接触、反応させることを特徴とするポリウレタン樹脂付加顔料の水性分散体の製造方法。
- 顔料がカーボンブラックである請求項1に記載のポリウレタン樹脂付加顔料の水性分散体の製造方法。
- 表面に酸性基を有する顔料(I)と、一級アミノ基および二級アミノ基から選ばれるアミノ基を分子中に2以上有する塩基性化合物(II)とを、水性媒体中で接触させて、表面に未反応アミノ基を有する顔料を作製した後、さらに、末端イソシアネート基を有するポリウレタン樹脂(III)と接触、反応させてなることを特徴とするポリウレタン樹脂付加顔料の水性分散体。
- 顔料がカーボンブラックである請求項3に記載のポリウレタン樹脂付加顔料の水性分散体。
- 請求項1もしくは請求項2に記載の方法で得られたポリウレタン樹脂付加顔料の水性分散体または請求項3もしくは請求項4に記載のポリウレタン樹脂付加顔料の水性分散体を含むことを特徴とするインク組成物。
