Description
ウェットマスターバッチへの老化防止剤の添加にあたっては、合成ゴムで通常行われているように、ラテックスに老化防止剤を混合する手法がとられている。この場合、老化防止剤をそのまま混合するとラテックスが沈殿・凝固したり、部分的に凝固してしまうため、一般には界面活性剤を加えエマルジョンにして用いる。
また、特許文献3には、ウェットマスターバッチのカーボンブラックスラリーにゴム添加剤(薬品)を混合することが記載されている。しかし、具体的な分散方法については記述がなく、実施例として開示されているのは予めラテックスにエマルジョンとして薬品を添加している例のみである(例えば、段落〔0055〕、〔0064〕及び〔0095〕)。
一方、特許文献4には、カーボンブラックスラリー作製時に高せん断力をかけることで、界面活性剤を使用せずにカーボンブラックスラリー中に老化防止剤を分散させ、その後、ラテックスと凝固する方法が記載されている。しかし、この方法においては、老化防止剤が、充分にウェットマスターバッチ中に取り込まれにくく、その結果、同一生産ロット内において、老化防止剤の含有量のばらつきが大きく、また該マスターバッチを放置しておくと、ムーニー粘度が低下するおそれがあり、必ずしも充分に満足し得る方法とはいえなかった。
このように、ウェットマスターバッチに関する従来技術においては、ゴム用薬品をウェットマスターバッチ中に高度に分散させる手法についての開示はなされていない。
また、上記白濁状ゴム用薬品分散液と、ゴムラテックス、あるいはゴムラテックス及び充填材スラリー液との混合液を凝固させることにより、耐熱老化性、補強性、弾性率、耐摩耗性などが向上したゴム組成物を与えるゴムウェットマスターバッチが得られることを見出した。
本発明は、かかる知見に基づいて完成したものである。

(2)特に、上記分散液において、それに含まれる全ゴム用薬品の80質量%以上が粒子状で分散し、またゴム用薬品粒子の体積平均粒子径が、0.4~20μmである場合に、該ゴム用薬品はゴムウェットマスターバッチ中に、より良好に分散する。
(3)本発明の方法によれば、上記白濁状ゴム用薬品分散液を効率よく製造することができる。
(4)さらに、本発明の方法によれば、白濁状ゴム用薬品分散液を製造するために各種ゴム用薬品をエマルジョンにする必要がないため、界面活性剤を用いる必要もなく、従って、白濁状ゴム用薬品分散液を使用して得られたゴム用薬品含有ゴムウェットマスターバッチを用いてなるゴム組成物に配合される充填材の活性が低下することもない。
(5)本発明によれば、耐熱老化性、補強性、弾性率、耐摩耗性などの向上したゴム組成物を与えるゴム用薬品含有ゴムウェットマスターバッチ、このゴムウェットマスターバッチを用いてなる上記性能を有するゴム組成物及びそれを用いたタイヤを提供することができる。
[白濁状ゴム用薬品分散液]
(性状)
本発明の白濁状ゴム用薬品分散液は、ゴム用薬品を1質量%以上、好ましくは1~60質量%、より好ましくは1~40質量%、さらに好ましくは3~40質量%の濃度で含み、かつ白濁状を呈している分散液である。なお、ここでいう白濁状とは、目視での観察により、白濁を呈していることを指す。この白濁状は、分散液中に含まれるゴム用薬品の一部又は全部が粒子状に分散していることを示す。
本発明の白濁状ゴム用薬品分散液においては、ゴム用薬品のウェットマスターバッチ中への高度の分散性の観点から、その中に含まれる全ゴム用薬品の80質量%以上が粒子状で分散していることが好ましく、さらに90質量%以上が粒子状で分散していることがより好ましい。なお、上記の粒子状に分散しているゴム用薬品の全ゴム用薬品に対する割合の測定方法については、後で説明する。
また、本発明の白濁状ゴム用薬品分散液においては、分散液中のゴム用薬品粒子の体積平均粒子径(mv)は、ウェットマスターバッチ中への良好な分散性の観点から、0.4~20μmであることが好ましく、0.7~15μmであることがより好ましい。なお、上記体積平均粒子径(mv)の測定方法については後で説明する。
本発明の白濁状ゴム用薬品分散液におけるゴム用薬品に特に制限はないが、老化防止剤、ワックス、ステアリン酸及び樹脂の中から選ばれる少なくとも一種を好ましく用いることができる。
<老化防止剤>
本発明で使用される老化防止剤としては、例えばアミン系、キノリン系、フェノール系、有機ホスファイト系あるいはチオエーテル系などの老化防止剤が挙げられる。
アミン系老化防止剤としては、例えば、N-(1,3-ジメチル-ブチル)-N′-フェニル-p-フェニレンジアミン、N-フェニル-N′-イソプロピル-p-フェニレンジアミン、アルキル化ジフェニルアミン、4,4′-(α,α-ジメチルベンジル)ジフェニルアミン、N-フェニル-N′-(3-メタクリロイロキシ-2-ヒドロキシプロピル-p-フェニレンジアミン、N-(1-メチルヘプチル)-N′-フェニル-p-フェニレンジアミン、フェニル-α-ナフチルアミン、オクチル化ジフェニルアミンとその誘導体、N,N′-ジフェニル-p-フェニレンジアミン、N,N′-ジアリル-p-フェニレンジアミン、N,N′-ジ-β-ナフチル-p-フェニレンジアミン、等が挙げられる。
キノリン系老化防止剤としては、例えば2,2,4-トリメチル-1,2-ジヒドロキノリンの重合物、6-エトキシ-2,2,4-トリメチル-1,2-ジヒドロキノリン、6-ドデシル-2,2,4-トリメチル-1,2-ジヒドロキノリン等が挙げられる。
これらの老化防止剤は、一種を単独で用いてもよく二種以上を組み合わせて用いてもよい。
本発明においては、上記の老化防止剤以外に、その他ゴム用薬品として、ワックス、ステアリン酸、樹脂などが用いられる。
ワックスは、日光亀裂防止剤とも云われ、日光あるいはオゾンの作用で発生するゴムの亀裂を抑制する作用がある。すなわち、加硫後、ゴムの表面にブルームして、ゴム表面と空気とを遮断し、かつ日光を反射して、その効力を発揮する。
ステアリン酸は、天然ゴム、合成ゴム、ラテックスなどに用いられる酸性加硫促進剤の活性剤で、塩基性加硫促進剤に対しては、早期加硫を抑制する作用がある。また、軟化剤としても有効であり、特にカーボンブラックなどの配合剤を多量に用いる場合、その分散を改良する分散剤として働く。
樹脂としては、フェノール樹脂や脂環式炭化水素樹脂などを用いることができる。これらは、ゴムの高弾性化や粘弾性改良などの目的で使用される。
また、必要に応じ、硬化剤としてメチレン供与体であるヘキサメチレンテトラミン、ヘキサメトキシメチルメラミン等を添加してもよい。
ノボラック型の具体例として、ストレートフェノール樹脂としては、例えば、スミライトレジン品番PR-50731(融点95℃)、アルキル置換フェノール樹脂としては、スミライトレジン品番PR-19900(融点80℃)、カシュー変性フェノール樹脂としては、スミライトレジン品番PR-12636(融点70℃)、オイル変性フェノール樹脂としては、スミライトレジン品番PR-133491(融点73℃)など、いずれも住友ベークライト(株)製の市販品を挙げることができる。
脂環式炭化水素樹脂は、シクロペンタジエン又はジシクロペンタジエンを主体とする石油樹脂であって、シクロペンタジエン又はジシクロペンタジエンと共重合可能なオレフィン炭化水素との共重合体、あるいは、シクロペンタジエン及び/又はジシクロペンタジエンの重合体が挙げられ、これらは、水酸基、エステル、マレイン酸、エチリデン-ノルボルネン等が付加されてもよい。
市販品の具体的な例として、日本ゼオン(株)製のクイントン1325及び1345、新日本石油化学(株)製のネオレジンなどが挙げられる。
これらの樹脂は一種を単独で用いてもよく、二種以上を組み合わせて用いてもよい。
本発明の白濁状ゴム用薬品分散液の製造方法においては、ゴム用薬品を、該ゴム用薬品に対する良溶媒に溶解させてなる溶液と、該ゴム用薬品に対する貧溶媒とを混合することにより、白濁状ゴム用薬品分散液を製造する。
具体的には、まず、所定のゴム用薬品を、それに対する良溶媒に溶解させて、濃度が、通常1質量%以上、好ましくは1~60質量%、より好ましくは1~40質量%、さらに好ましくは3~40質量%のゴム用薬品溶液を調製する。次いで、このゴム用薬品溶液100質量部と、該ゴム用薬品に対する貧溶媒5~400質量部程度、好ましくは20~200質量部とを混合して、白濁状ゴム用薬品分散液を製造する。ゴム用薬品溶液と貧溶媒との混合方法に特に制限はないが、通常ゴム用薬品溶液を攪拌しながら、これに貧溶媒を添加する方法が用いられる。
本発明の製造方法において、良溶媒と貧溶媒の混合比(良溶媒の質量/貧溶媒の質量)は、好ましくは(99/1)~(1/99)、より好ましくは(95/5)~(50/50)、特に好ましくは(92/8)~(70/30)である。
測定対象となるゴム用薬品5gに、溶解性を測定しようとする溶媒を全量が100gになるように加え、温度25℃にてかきまぜた場合に、均一で透明性を有する溶液が得られたものを、該ゴム用薬品に対し、良溶媒であるとし、一方、白濁が認められたり、分離が認められたものを、該ゴム用薬品に対し貧溶媒であるとする。
また、本発明における貧溶媒をさらに具体的に説明すると、水、含水アルコールなどが挙げられる。
[ゴム用薬品含有ゴムウェットマスターバッチ]
本発明のゴム用薬品含有ゴムウェットマスターバッチ(以下、単にウェットマスターバッチと称することがある。)は、前述した本発明の白濁状ゴム用薬品分散液と、ゴムラテックス、あるいはゴムラテックス及び充填材スラリー液との混合液を凝固させてなるウェットマスターバッチである。
(ゴムラテックス)
本発明のウェットマスターバッチに用いられるゴムラテックスとしては、天然ゴムラテックス及び/又は合成ゴムラテックスを挙げることができる。
天然ゴムラテックスとしては、フィールドラテックス、アンモニア処理ラテックス、遠心分離濃縮ラテックス、酵素で処理した脱蛋白ラテックス、前記のものを組み合わせたものなど、いずれも使用することができる。
合成ゴムラテックスとしては、例えばスチレン-ブタジエン重合体ゴム、ニトリルゴム、ポリクロロプレンゴムなどのラテックスを使用することができる。
上記ゴムラテックスにおけるゴム濃度は、通常5~70質量%程度、好ましくは15~40質量%である。なお、該ゴムラテックスは水等で希釈して用いもよい。
本発明のウェットマスターバッチに用いることのできる充填材スラリー液としては、カーボンブラック、シリカ及び一般式(I)
nM・xSiOy・zH2O ・・・(I)
[式中、Mは、アルミニウム、マグネシウム、チタン、カルシウム及びジルコニウムから選ばれる金属、これらの金属の酸化物又は水酸化物、それらの水和物、及び前記金属の炭酸塩の中から選ばれる少なくとも一種であり、n、x、y及びzは、それぞれ1~5の整数、0~10の整数、2~5の整数、及び0~10の整数である。]
で表される無機充填材の中から選ばれる少なくとも一種の充填材を、高速せん断ミキサーを用いて分散溶媒中に分散させてなるスラリー液を挙げることができる。
ここで、カーボンブラックとしては、通常ゴム工業に用いられるものが使用できる。例えば、SAF、HAF、ISAF、FEF、GPFなど種々のグレードのカーボンブラックを単独に又は混合して使用することができる。
シリカは特に限定されないが、湿式シリカ、乾式シリカ、コロイダルシリカが好ましい。これらは単独に又は混合して使用することができる。
また、一般式(I)で表される無機充填材としては、Mがアルミニウム金属、アルミニウムの酸化物又は水酸化物、それらの水和物、及びアルミニウムの炭酸塩から選ばれる少なくとも一種のものが好ましい。
さらに好ましくは、体積平均粒子径(mv)が20μm以下、かつ90体積%粒径(D90)が25μm以下である。粒度が大きすぎるとゴム中の充填材分散が悪化し、補強性、耐摩耗性が悪化することがある。なお、スラリー液中の充填材の粒度分布の測定方法は後に説明する。
スラリー液において、前記充填材の濃度は1~30質量%とするのが好ましく、特に2~20質量%の範囲であることが好ましい。充填材の濃度が1質量%未満では必要とするスラリー容量が多くなりすぎ、また30質量%を超えると、スラリー液の粘度が高くなりすぎて、作業上問題が生じる。
本発明においては、このスラリー液としては、水分散スラリー液であることが、ゴムラテックスを用いる場合に、混合性の観点から好ましい。
本発明においては、ウェットマスターバッチを製造する際の、各液の混合の順番については特に制限はない。例えばまず前述した本発明の白濁状ゴム用薬品分散液(A)と、前記ゴムラテックス(B)、あるいは前記ゴムラテックス(B)及び充填材スラリー(C)とを混合して混合液を調製する。上記(A)成分と(B)成分とからなる混合液の調製は、例えば、攪拌羽根を備えた攪拌容器中に(B)成分を入れ、攪拌しながら、(A)成分を滴下する方法や、逆に(A)成分を攪拌しながら、これに(B)成分を滴下する方法などがある。
また、上記(A)成分と(B)成分と(C)成分とからなる混合液の調製は、例えば、攪拌羽根を備えた攪拌容器中に(C)成分を入れ、攪拌しながら、上記のようにして調製された(A)成分と(B)成分との混合液を添加する方法や、逆にこの(A)成分と(B)成分との混合液を攪拌しながら、(C)成分を添加する方法がある。さらに、一定の流量割合をもった(C)成分流と(A)成分及び(B)成分からなる混合液流とを、激しい水力攪拌の条件下で混合する方法を用いることができる。
凝固物は、一般に従来公知の固液分離手段を用いて取り出し、充分に洗浄後、乾燥処理する。乾燥処理は、真空乾燥機、エアドライヤー、ドラムドライヤー、バンドドライヤー等の通常の乾燥機を用いることができるが、さらに充填材の分散性を向上させるためには、機械的せん断力をかけながら乾燥を行うことが好ましい。
本発明のウェットマスターバッチは、ゴム用薬品を、白濁状ゴム用薬品分散液の形態で用いて作製されることから、該ゴム用薬品は、ウェットマスターバッチ中に極めて良好な分散状態で存在する。
本発明のウェットマスターバッチは、ゴム組成物に用いた場合、耐熱老化性、補強性、弾性率、耐摩耗性などが向上したゴム組成物を与えることができる。
[ゴム組成物]
本発明のゴム組成物は、前記本発明のゴム用薬品含有ゴムウェットマスターバッチを配合することにより得られる。該ゴム組成物には、本発明の目的を損なわない範囲で、他のゴム成分、充填材、老化防止剤、加硫剤、加硫促進剤、亜鉛華、スコーチ防止剤、ステアリン酸等の通常ゴム業界で用いられる各種薬品を添加することができる。なお、充填材としては、通常ゴム配合に用いられるカーボン、シリカ、その他の各種充填材が用いられる。また、使用するウェットマスターバッチ中の充填材及び/又はゴム用薬品の量が充分で、該ゴム用薬品をさらに追添する必要がない場合には、そのゴム用薬品は添加しなくともよい。
また、このゴム組成物において、ゴム成分の全体に対して当該ウェットマスターバッチにおけるゴム成分を20質量%以上含むことが好ましい。当該ウェットマスターバッチに追加して用いられる他のゴム成分としては、通常の天然ゴム及びジエン系合成ゴムが挙げられ、ジエン系合成ゴムとしては、例えばスチレン-ブタジエン共重合体(SBR)、ポリブタジエン(BR)、ポリイソプレン(IR)、ブチルゴム(IIR)、エチレン-プロピレン共重合体及びこれらの混合物などが挙げられる。
本発明のゴム組成物は、タイヤ用途を始め、防振ゴム、ベルト、ホースその他の工業用品等の用途にも用いることができる。特にタイヤ用ゴムとして好適に使用され、例えばトレッドゴム、サイドゴム、プライコーティングゴム、ビードフイラーゴム、ベルトコーティングゴムなどあらゆるタイヤ部材に適用することができる。
[タイヤ]
本発明のタイヤは、前記本発明のゴム組成物を用いて通常の方法によって製造される。すなわち、ウェットマスターバッチと共に必要に応じて、上記のように各種薬品を含有させたゴム組成物が未加硫の段階で、例えばタイヤトレッドに加工され、タイヤ成型機上で通常の方法により貼り付け成型され、生タイヤが成型される。この生タイヤを加硫機中で加熱、加圧してタイヤが得られる。
このようにして得られた本発明のタイヤは、耐熱老化性、補強性、弾性率、耐摩耗性などに優れている。
各実施例、比較例における各種測定は下記の方法により行なった。
(1)白濁状ゴム用薬品分散液中のゴム薬品粒子の体積平均粒子径(mv)
レーザー回折型粒度分布計(MICROTRAC FRA型)を使用し、水溶媒(屈折率1.33)を用いて測定した。粒子屈折率(Particle refractive index)は全ての測定において1.57を用いた。
(2)白濁状ゴム用薬品分散液における、粒子状ゴム用薬品の全ゴム用薬品に対する割合
白濁状ゴム用薬品分散液を、温度25℃にて、WHATMAN定性ろ紙No.4を用いてろ過し、水洗後乾燥してその質量Bを測定する。使用した前記分散液中の全ゴム用薬品の質量Aを、該ゴム用薬品の仕込量から算出し、(B/A)×100を求める。
(3)スラリー液中の充填材の粒度分布[体積平均粒子径(mV)、90体積%粒径(D90)
上記(1)と同様にして測定した。なお、充填材の再凝集を防ぐため、分散後直ちに測定を行った。
(4)24M4DBP吸油量
ISO 6894に準拠して測定した。
(5)マスターバッチ中のゴム用薬品含有量
老化防止剤;JIS K6220-3:2001に準拠して測定した。
樹脂;クロロホルムにて抽出後ガスクロ法により分析した。
(6)ランボーン耐摩耗試験(耐摩耗性)
ランボーン型摩耗試験機を用い、室温におけるスリップ率40%で摩耗量を測定し、その逆数を、比較例4のゴム組成物(耐熱老化前)を100とする指数で表示した。値が大きいほど質量減少が少なく耐摩耗性は良好である。
(7)耐熱老化試験(破壊強力保持率)
マスターバッチを作製後、すぐに配合、加硫したものと、一ヶ月間40℃にて放置して配合、加硫したものについて、ゴム組成物の破壊強力を測定し、破壊強力保持率を求め、比較例4のゴム組成物を100とする指数で表示した。値が大きいほど、破壊強力保持率が良好である。
(8)反発弾性
JIS K 6255に準拠し、トリプソ式反発試験装置を使用して測定し、比較例4を100とする指数で表示した。指数が大きいほど良好である。
(1)白濁状老化防止剤6C含有分散液の調製
良溶媒であるエタノール中に老化防止剤6C(N-(1,3-ジメチルブチル)-N’-フェニル-p-フェニレンジアミン)[精工化学(株)製「オゾノン6C」]を溶解させて、10質量%濃度の6C溶液を調製した。次いで、この6C溶液を攪拌しながら、これに貧溶媒である水を同量添加し、25℃で10分間攪拌することにより、6C濃度5質量%の白濁状6C含有分散液を調製した。
この白濁状6C含有分散液は、全6Cの96質量%が粒子状で分散しており、その粒子の体積平均粒子径(mv)は1.7μmであった。
(2)ウェットマスターバッチの作製
ゴム濃度20質量%の天然ゴムラテックスと、上記(1)で得られた6C濃度5質量%の白濁状6C含有分散液とを、ゴム成分と6Cの割合が、質量比で100:1.2になるように、攪拌しながら、混合し、温度25℃で10分間攪拌を続行した。次いで、これに10質量%濃度の蟻酸を加え、pH4.7に調整して凝固させ、脱水、洗浄後、110℃で2時間乾燥処理して、ウェットマスターバッチを作製した。
このウェットマスターバッチの作製操作を5回実施したところ、ウェットマスターバッチ中の6Cの含有量は、ゴム成分100質量部当たり、平均で0.95質量部(標準偏差0.013)であった。
80℃に設定したミキサーを用い、ゴム成分[天然ゴム(TSR20)]100質量部と、老化防止剤6C(前出)のペレット1質量部とを、2分間70rpmで攪拌混練し、ドライマスターバッチを作製した。混練終了温度は130℃であった。
このドライマスターバッチの作製操作を5回実施したところ、ドライマスターバッチ中の6Cの含有量は、ゴム成分100質量部当たり、平均で0.97質量部(標準偏差0.06)であった。
(1)白濁状老化防止剤RD含有分散液の調製
実施例1(1)において、老化防止剤6Cの代わりに、老化防止剤RD(2,2,4-トリメチル-1,2-ジヒドロキノリンの重合物[精工化学(株)製「ノンフレックスRD」]を用いた以外は、実施例1(1)と同様に実施し、RD濃度5質量%の白濁状RD含有分散液を調製した。
この白濁状RD含有分散液は、全RDの93質量%が粒子状で分散しており、その粒子の体積平均粒子径(mv)は0.9μmであった。
(2)ウェットマスターバッチの作製
ゴム濃度20質量%の天然ゴムラテックスと、上記(1)で得られたRD濃度5質量%の白濁状RD含有分散液を用い、実施例1(2)と同様にしてウェットマスターバッチを作製した。
このウェットマスターバッチの作製操作を5回実施したところ、ウェットマスターバッチ中のRDの含有量は、ゴム成分100質量部当たり、平均で0.98質量部(標準偏差0.11)であった。
比較例1において、老化防止剤6Cの代わりに、老化防止剤RD(前出)を用いた以外は、比較例1と同様に実施してドライマスターバッチを作製した。混練終了温度は140℃であった。
このドライマスターバッチの作製操作を5回実施したところ、ドライマスターバッチ中のRDの含有量は、ゴム成分100質量部当たり、平均で0.94質量部(標準偏差0.27)であった。
(1)白濁状フェノール樹脂含有分散液の調製
実施例1(1)において、老化防止剤6Cの代わりに、フェノール樹脂[旭有機材工業(株)製「SP1006N」]を用いた以外は、実施例1(1)と同様に実施し、フェノール樹脂濃度5質量%の白濁状フェノール樹脂含有分散液を調製した。
この白濁状フェノール樹脂含有分散液は、全フェノール樹脂の92質量%が粒子状で分散しており、その粒子の体積平均粒子径(mv)は2.1μmであった。
(2)ウェットマスターバッチの作製
ゴム濃度20質量%の天然ゴムラテックスと、上記(1)で得られたフェノール樹脂濃度5質量%の白濁状フェノール樹脂含有分散液とを、ゴム成分とフェノール樹脂の割合が質量比で100:5.3になるように用いた以外は、実施例1(2)と同様にしてウェットマスターバッチを作製した。
このウェットマスターバッチの作製操作を5回実施したところ、ウェットマスターバッチ中のフェノール樹脂の含有量は、ゴム成分100質量部当たり、平均で4.92質量部(標準偏差0.16)であった。
比較例1において、老化防止剤6C1質量部の代わりに、フェノール樹脂(前出)5質量部を用いた以外は、比較例1と同様に実施してドライマスターバッチを作製した。混練終了温度は140℃であった。
このドライマスターバッチの作製操作を5回実施したところ、ドライマスターバッチ中のフェノール樹脂の含有量は、ゴム成分100質量部当たり、平均で4.46質量部(標準偏差0.81)であった。
(1)白濁状老化防止剤6C含有分散液の調製
エタノール中に老化防止剤6C[大内新興化学工業(株)製「ノクラック6C」]を溶解させて、20質量%濃度の6C溶液を調製した。次いで、この6C溶液を攪拌しながら、これに水を同量添加し、25℃で10分間攪拌することにより、6C濃度10質量%の白濁状6C含有分散液を調製した。
この白濁状6C含有分散液は、全6Cの97質量%が粒子状で分散しており、その粒子の体積平均粒子径(mv)は1.6μmであった。
(2)カーボンブラックスラリー液の調製
水中にカーボンブラックN220[旭カーボン(株)製「#80」]を入れ、シルバーソン社製「ハイシアーミキサー」にて、3000rpmで20分間微分散させ、濃度5質量%のカーボンブラックスラリー液を調製した。スラリー液中のカーボンブラックのmvは6.2μm、D90は10.0μm、24M4DBP保持率は97%であった。
(3)ウェットマスターバッチの作製
ゴム濃度20質量%の天然ゴムラテックスと、上記(1)で得られた6C濃度10質量%の白濁状6C含有分散液とを、ゴム成分と6Cの割合が、質量比で100:1.2になるように、攪拌しながら、混合した。
次いで、この混合液と上記(2)で得た濃度5質量%のカーボンブラックスラリー液とを、ゴム成分とカーボンブラックの割合が質量比で100:45になるように混合し、室温(25℃)で15分間攪拌した。続いて、この混合液に、10質量%濃度の蟻酸を加え、pH4.7に調整して凝固させ、脱水、洗浄後、110℃で2時間乾燥処理して、ウェットマスターバッチを作製した。
このウェットマスターバッチの作製操作を5回実施したところ、ウェットマスターバッチ中の6Cの含有量は、ゴム成分100質量部当たり、平均で0.98質量部(標準偏差0.03)であった。
(4)ゴム組成物の調製
上記(3)で得られたウェットマスターバッチを用い、バンバリーミキサーを使用し、表1に示す配合組成の各ゴム組成物を調製した。
各ゴム組成物を150℃で30分間加硫して、試験用サンプルを作製し、その性能を評価した。結果を表1に示す。
(1)ウェットマスターバッチの作製
実施例4-1(2)で得た濃度5質量%のカーボンブラックスラリー液と、実施例4-1(1)で得た濃度10質量%の白濁状6C含有分散液とを、カーボンブラックと6Cとの割合が、質量比で45:1.2になるように、攪拌しながら混合した。
次いで、この混合液と、ゴム濃度20質量%の天然ゴムラテックスとを、ゴム成分とカーボンブラックと6Cの割合が、質量比で100:45:1.2になるように混合し、室温(25℃)で15分間攪拌した。続いて、この混合液に、10質量%濃度の蟻酸を加え、pH4.7に調整して、凝固させ、脱水、洗浄後、110℃で2時間乾燥処理して、ウェットマスターバッチを作製した。
このウェットマスターバッチの作製操作を5回実施したところ、ウェットマスターバッチ中の6Cの含有量は、ゴム成分100質量部当たり、平均で0.97質量部(標準偏差0.04)であった。
(2)ゴム組成物の調製
上記(1)で得られたウェットマスターバッチを用い、バンバリーミキサーを使用し、表1に示す配合組成の各ゴム組成物を調製した。
各ゴム組成物を150℃で30分間加硫して、試験用サンプルを作製し、その性能を評価した。結果を表1に示す。
(1)ウェットマスターバッチの作製
ゴム濃度20質量%の天然ゴムラテックスと、実施例4-1(2)で得た濃度5質量%のカーボンブラックスラリー液とを、ゴム成分とカーボンブラックとの割合が、質量比で100:45になるように混合し、室温(25℃)で15分間攪拌した。
次いで、この混合液と、実施例4-1(1)で得た濃度10質量%の白濁状6C含有分散液とを、ゴム成分と6Cの割合が、質量比で100:1.2になるように攪拌しながら混合した。続いて、この混合液に、10質量%濃度の蟻酸を加え、pH4.7に調整して凝固させ、脱水、洗浄後、110℃で2時間乾燥処理して、ウェットマスターバッチを作製した。
このウェットマスターバッチの作製操作を5回実施したところ、ウェットマスターバッチ中の6Cの含有量は、ゴム成分100質量部当たり、平均で0.98質量部(標準偏差0.04)であった。
(2)ゴム組成物の調製
上記(1)で得られたウェットマスターバッチを用い、バンバリーミキサーを使用し、表1に示す配合組成の各ゴム組成物を調製した。
各ゴム組成物を150℃で30分間加硫して、試験用サンプルを作製し、その性能を評価した。結果を表1に示す。
(1)ドライマスターバッチの作製
80℃に設定したミキサーを用い、ゴム成分「TSR20」(前出)100質量部と、カーボンブラックN220(前出)45質量部と、老化防止剤6C「ノクラック6C」(前出)のペレット1質量部とを2分間70rpmで攪拌混練し、ドライマスターバッチを作製した。
このドライマスターバッチの作製操作を5回実施したところ、ドライマスターバッチ中の6Cの含有量は、ゴム成分100質量部当たり、平均で0.94質量部(標準偏差0.28)であった。
(2)ゴム組成物の調製
上記(1)で得られたドライマスターバッチを用い、バンバリーミキサーを使用し、表1に示す配合組成の各ゴム組成物を調製した。
各ゴム組成物を150℃で30分間加硫して、試験用サンプルを作製し、その性能を評価した。結果を表1に示す。
1)加硫促進剤NS:N-t-ブチル-2-ベンゾチアジルスルフェンアミド
Claims (10)
- ゴム用薬品を1質量%以上の濃度で含むことを特徴とする白濁状ゴム用薬品分散液。
- 全ゴム用薬品の80質量%以上が粒子状で分散してなる請求項1に記載の白濁状ゴム用薬品分散液。
- 分散液中のゴム用薬品粒子の体積平均粒子径が、0.4~20μmである請求項1又は2に記載の白濁状ゴム用薬品分散液。
- ゴム用薬品の含有量が1~60質量%である請求項1~3のいずれかに記載の白濁状ゴム用薬品分散液。
- ゴム用薬品が、老化防止剤、ワックス、ステアリン酸及び樹脂の中から選ばれる少なくとも一種である請求項1~4のいずれかに記載の白濁状ゴム用薬品分散液。
- ゴム用薬品を、該ゴム用薬品に対する良溶媒に溶解させてなる溶液と、該ゴム用薬品に対する貧溶媒とを混合することを特徴とする、請求項1~5のいずれかに記載の白濁状ゴム用薬品分散液の製造方法。
- 請求項1~5のいずれかに記載の白濁状ゴム用薬品分散液と、ゴムラテックス、あるいはゴムラテックス及び充填材スラリー液との混合液を凝固させてなるゴム用薬品含有ゴムウェットマスターバッチ。
- 凝固後、乾燥処理してなる請求項7に記載のゴム用薬品含有ゴムウェットマスターバッチ。
- 請求項8に記載のゴム用薬品含有ゴムウェットマスターバッチを用いてなるゴム組成物。
- 請求項9に記載のゴム組成物を用いてなるタイヤ。
