Description

車両用全閉形主電動機
 本発明は鉄道車両を駆動する車両用全閉形主電動機に関する。
 一般に鉄道車両(以下、「車両」と呼ぶ)では、車体の下に配置された台車に主電動機(以下、「電動機」と呼ぶ)を装荷して、この電動機の回転力を継手(カップリング)と歯車装置を介して車輪に伝達して車両を走行させている。従来のこの種の電動機の構造は図14のようになっている。図14に示した従来の電動機は、固定部材である円筒状のフレーム1を有し、このフレーム1の一端側にベアリングブラケット2を取付け、フレーム1の他端側の中央部にハウジング3を取付け、このベアリングブラケット2とハウジング3それぞれの中心部に設けた軸受4、5によってロータシャフト6の両端部を回転自在に支持している。ロータシャフト6の軸方向の中心部分にロータ鉄心7を固定し、このロータ鉄心7の外周側に形成された多数の溝の中にロータバー8を埋め込み、各々のロータバー8の両端部はロータ鉄心7より張出させ、その張出し部分をリング状のエンドリング9、9で一体に接続して誘導電動機のかご型ロータを形成している。ロータ鉄心7には、軸方向に貫通した複数個の通風路7aを設けてあり、同様の通風路を有する鉄心押え10、10によりロータ鉄心7を固定している。
 フレーム1の内周部には、円筒状のステータ鉄心11を取付け、このステータ鉄心11の内周側に形成された多数の溝の中にステータコイル12を収納している。このステータコイル12のコイルエンド部は、ステータ鉄心11の両側に張出した形となっている。
 ステータ鉄心11の内周面とロータ鉄心7の外周面との間には、一様な空隙13を形成してある。ロータシャフト6の駆動軸部6aは機外に突出させてある。この突出した駆動軸部6aの部分には、駆動用歯車装置と結合するため継手(カップリング)を取付ける。ロータシャフト6の機内部分には通風ファン14を取付けてある。この通風ファン14は、回転軸中央より放射状に配置された複数の羽根14aを有している。フレーム1におけるこの通風ファン14の外周部に対向する部分には複数の排気口1aが円周方向に沿って設けてある。フレーム1の反駆動側の上方に入気口1bを設け、この入気口1bを覆うように通風ロ過器15を取付け、通風ロ過器15の外気取り入れ口部には、塵埃を捕捉するためのフィルター15aを取付けてある。
 図14に示した電動機全体は、フレーム1に設けられた取付け腕部(図示せず)を台車枠にボルトで締結固定し、ロータシャフト駆動軸部6aに接続した継手を介して電動機の回転力を駆動装置から車輪に伝達し車両を走行させる。
 この電動機の運転時には、ステータコイル12とロータバー8が発熱するため、外気を電動機内に流通させて冷却している。この冷却で電動機の温度上昇が抑制される。この冷却作用は次の通りである。
 運転時、通風ファン14がロータシャフト6と共に回転し、機内の空気を排気口1aより機外に排出し、これに伴って入気口1bより外気が機内に吸引される。機内に吸引される外気は、通風ロ過器15を経て入気口1bより機内に流入した後、ロータ鉄心の通風路7aやロータ鉄心7の外周とステータ鉄心11の内周との間の空隙13を通って通風ファン14側に流通し、通風ファン14の回転により排気口1aより機外に排出される。
 このように機内に外気を流通させることにより、ロータバー8、ステータコイル12、及び軸受4、5やそれを潤滑するグリースの温度上昇が許限度を超えないように冷却している。
 しかしながら、電車等の床下の台車に搭載される電動機の周囲の外気には、車両走行時に巻き上げられる塵埃が多量に存在し、取入れる外気はひどく汚損された環境下のものである。そのため、図14に示した従来例の電動機では機内に取入れる外気は、通風ロ過器15のフィルター15aによって塵埃を捕捉して清浄化を図っているが、運転を続けることにより次第にフィルター15aに目詰まりが生じ、機内の通風量が減少してしまうので、短い間隔の定期的なフィルターの清掃保守を必要とした。またフィルター15aを通過した塵埃が電動機内に付着堆積して、その清掃に多大な労力を費やさねばならないという技術的な課題があった。
 この問題を解決するために、近年では全閉外扇形電動機の開発が進められている。
 この全閉外扇形電動機の一実施の形態の構造について、図10及び図11参照し、説明する。図10は全閉外扇形電動機の断面図であり、図11は図10のステータ鉄心211のB-B部の断面を示す1/4図面である。尚、図14と同じ部品名については同一番号を付し、説明を省略する。
 図10に示すように、従来の全閉外扇形電動機は、ステ-タ鉄心211の両側に鉄心押え、211a、211aを取付ける。両側の鉄心押え211aの間には、複数の繋ぎ板211bをステータ鉄心211の全外周の一部分に取り付ける(図11参照。)。ステ-タ鉄心211の外周側には多数の通風路211cが構成されている。ロータシャフト6にはロータ鉄心7と、ファン主板214cの両面に回転軸から放射状に取付けられた羽根214aと214bを有する通風ファン214が取付けられている。
 ロータシャフト6を支承する軸受4を中心部に設けたベアリングブラケット202の側面部に円周状に複数の外気入気口202aが構成されている。ベアリングブラケット202は繋ぎブラケット203を介して鉄心押え211aに取付けられている。また、ステ-タ鉄心211の他端の鉄心押え211aには固定ブラケット204が取り付けられており、その中心部分にはハウジング3を介して軸受5が配置され、ロータシャフト6を支承している。
 繋ぎブラケット203にはステ-タ鉄心211の通風路211cに通じる通風路203aが構成されている。ファン214の羽根214aによって、べアリングブラケット202の側面部に円周状に設けられた複数の外気入気口202aから冷却風が流入して、他端にある固定ブラケット204の通風路204aから外気に開放される。
 更に繋ぎブラケット203には外部熱交換器20に通じる通風路203bも配置され、通風ファン214の羽根214bによって発生した電動機内の空気が、外気に触れずに他端にある固定ブラケット204にある通風路204bを経由して再び電動機の機内に入る通風流路が構成されている。このような通風経路を構成するものにおいて、通風ファン214の外周部に対応する繋ぎブラケット203の内周部には通風ファン214のファン主板214cとの間で微小隙間L0(所謂ラビリンス)を構成しているので、通風ファン214の羽根214aによって発生する通風空気と、通風ファン214の羽根214bによって発生する通風空気が混じり合わない構造、つまり、電動機内冷却風と電動機外冷却風が切り分けて使用されるように構成されている。尚、以降の全閉形電動機の説明における機内とはこの微小隙間で区切られた内部、機外とは外部を示すものとする。
 このように構成された電動機の冷却方法は、次の通りである。ファン214の羽根214aにより入気口202aから入った冷却風は、繋ぎブラケット203の通風路203aを通り、通風路211cを通って固定ブラケット204の通風路204aから外気に吐き出される。これによって、コイル12の発熱がステータ鉄心211を経由して冷却される。
 一方、ファン214の羽根214bにより、電動機機内の空気が繋ぎブラケット203の通風路203bを通り、熱交換器20を経由して固定ブラケット204の通風路204bから電動機の内部に戻る冷却風があり、熱交換器20とファン214のファン主板214Cによる入気口202Aから入る外気との間の熱交換作用により、この循環風は冷却され、冷えた冷却風が通風路7A及び空隙13を通過し、ロータバー8を直接または、ロータ鉄心7を介して冷却する。また、機内に入った空気は、再びファン214の羽根214Bから吐き出され、機内を循環する。
 機内の循環風は、ロータバー8だけでなく、コイル12や軸受4、5及びグリース等も冷却することになる。このように各通風路に機内、機外を分離した冷却風が流れることにより、電動機が効率的に冷却され、しかもステ-タコイル12やロータバー8は外気に触れて汚れることがないので電動機内部の汚損がなく、内部清掃不要な全閉形電動機を提供できる(例えば特許文献1参照。)。
 次に、鉄道車両用に制約のある課題について説明する。図12と図13は、鉄道車両用電動機が台車内に装荷された一般的な状態を示すもので、図12は上面から見た平面図、図13は図12の断面CC部を側面方向から見た側面断面図である。
 電動機301は、上部取付けノーズ302、下部取付け足302aを介して台車303の梁304にある取付け座305に取付けられている。電動機301の駆動軸306は、継手306aを介して歯車装置の歯車軸308に直結されている。歯車軸308と車軸309にはそれぞれ歯車(図示せず)が取付いていて噛合い、電動機の回転力が車軸309に伝達されるようになっている。歯車のケース307には潤滑剤が充填されている。
 車軸309に伝達された回転力は、車軸309に取付けられた車輪310、310を回転させる。これにより、台車303に付いている車体313がレール311上を転がるようにして動く仕組みとなっている。車軸309は台車303に軸受312、312を介して回転自由に取付いている。尚、図13の電動機301は内部が分かるようにした断面図で表してある。
 このような台車構成に於いて、Lsは車輪310、310間の間隙の寸法であり、この寸法Lsから歯車ケース307及び継手306Aの幅寸法を除いた寸法Ldの範囲内に電動機301を配置する必要がある。すなわち電動機301には非常に限られた寸法制約がある。電動機301の出力の大きさは、ステータ鉄心外径Dとステータ鉄心長さL(回転子長さとも等しい)によって決定する。ステータ鉄心外径Dは、図10及び図13に示されている。ステータ鉄心長さLは、図10に示に示されている。ステータ鉄心長さLにその他の構成部材が加算されてLdとなるので、鉄心以外のその他の構成部材も電動機を構成する上で重要になっている。

 従来の全閉形電動機は、通常の電動機に比べると熱交換器20を付加すること、また、機内循環風を流すための熱交換ファン214の羽根214Bがあるため、構造が複雑でコストが上昇するという課題があった。更に鉄道車両用では上述したような電動機の大きさに関する制約条件があるため、電動機の長手寸法が大きくならないようにする必要があった。
 そこで、本発明は、電動機に必要な冷却性能を確保し、かつ、電動機の長手寸法を小さくすることが出来る車両用全閉形主電動機を提供することを目的とする。
 上記目的を達成するために、本発明の車両用全閉形主電動機は、ステータ鉄心とこのステ-タ鉄心の内周側に配置されたロータ鉄心と、前記ステータ鉄心の一端部に第1のブラケットの外周部及びベアリングブラケットを介して配設された第1の軸受と、前記ステータ鉄心の他端部に第2のブラケットとハウジングを介して配設された第2の軸受と、前記ロータ鉄心が取付けられ且つ前記第1、第2の軸受で回転自在に支承されたロータシャフトと、前記ステータ鉄心の外周部に構成された第1の通風路と、回転軸から前記ベアリングブラケットの内周方向に放射状に配設された複数個の羽根を有し、前記ロータ鉄心に直接または第1の鉄心押さえを介して密着して取り付けられた第1の通風ファンと、前記ベアリングブラケットに設けられた第1の入気口から外気をロータシャフトに近い部分まで導入する第2の通風路とを具備し、前記第1の通風ファンのファン主板の端部と前記第1のブラケットの内周部の端部間に微小隙間を設けて回転子側と固定子側を仕切り、機内と機外を分離できるようにし、前記第1の通風ファンにより前記第1の入気口から流入した冷却風が、前記第2の通風路から前記通風ファンの外周部、前記第1のブラケット内の通風部、及び前記第1の通風路を経由して電動機外に吐き出されるようにしたことを特徴としている。
 本発明によれば、電動機に必要な冷却性能を確保し、かつ、電動機の長手寸法を小さくすることが出来る車両用全閉形主電動機を提供することが可能となる。

 以下、図面を参照して本発明の実施例を説明する。
 図1は本発明の実施例1に係る車両用全閉形主電動機の断面図である。
 ステ-タ鉄心211の両側に鉄心押え、211a、211aが取付けられている。両側の鉄心押え211aの間には、複数の繋ぎ板211bがステータ鉄心211の全外周の一部に取り付けられている。複数の繋ぎ板211bを組み合わせることによって、ステ-タ鉄心211の外周側には多数の通風路211cが構成されている。ロータシャフト6にはロータ鉄心407と通風ファン414が取付けられている。通風ファン414のファン主板214cの片面の周方向には、複数の羽根214aが適切な間隔で回転軸から放射状に取付け配置されている。ファン主板214Cの機内側は、エンドリング9の内周側近傍まで延伸され、ロータ鉄心407及び鉄心押え10に密着した構造を呈している。
 ロータシャフト6を支承する軸受4を中心部に設けたベアリングブラケット402には、外部からロータシャフト6近くまで回り込むように、外気入気口402aが円周状に複数構成されている。ベアリングブラケット402は繋ぎブラケット203の外周部を介して鉄心押え211aに取付けられている。繋ぎブラケット203にはステ-タ鉄心211の通風路211cに通じる通風路203aが構成されて、通風ファン414の羽根214aによって発生する冷却風が流通するようになっている。通風ファン414の外周部に対応する繋ぎブラケット203の内周部の端部は、通風ファン414のファン主板214cの端部との間で微小隙間L1(所謂ラビリンス)を形成する構造となっている。このため、通風ファン414の羽根214a側の冷却風が機内に入らないように構成されている。また、ステ-タ鉄心211の他端の鉄心押え211aには固定ブラケット204が取り付けられている。固定ブラケット204の中心部分には、軸受5でロータシャフト6を支承するハウジング3が取付けられている。
 固定ブラケット204にも通風路211cに合わせた通風路204aが設けられていて外気に開放しており、通風路211cを通過した冷却風が通風路204aから電動機外部に吐き出される構造となっている。
 また通風ファン414と電動機の軸方向反対の位置、すなわち反駆動側に、通風ファン415が設けられている。通風ファン415のファン主板415Cの片側には羽根415aがあり、ファン主板415Cの機内側は、ロータ鉄心407及び鉄心押え10に密着した構造を呈している。羽根415aから吐き出された風は、固定ブラケット204部にある通風路204cを通って電動機外部に吐き出される。羽根415aにより発生する風は、固定ブラケット204及びハウジング3にある入気口204b、3bより、外気を導入する。通風ファン415の外周部に対応する固定ブラケット204の内周部の端部も、通風ファン415のファン主板415Cの端部との間で微小隙間L2(所謂ラビリンス)を形成しているので、通風ファン415の羽根415a側の冷却風が機内に入らないようになっている。
 このように構成された電動機では、通風ファン414の羽根214aの作用によって図1の矢印ように、外気が入気口402aから入り、ロータシャフト6の近傍を通り、通風ファン414の外周部から通風路203a、211cと流れ、ステータ鉄心211を冷やすので、コイル12の発生熱を吸収する。ここで、ロータシャフト6の近傍に形成される通風路を第1の通風路、そして通風路211cで形成される通風路を第2の通風路とする。
 同時にロータバー8やエンドリング9で発生した熱は、ロータ鉄心407、ロータ鉄心押え10を経由して、エンドリング9の内周側近傍まで延伸された通風ファン214のファン主板214Cに伝わり、羽根214aで発生する冷却風に放熱されるので、回転子も冷却できることになる。
 通風ファン415の作用も通風ファン414と同様で、ステータ鉄心211の冷却は行わないが、図1の矢印のように冷却風が流れ、回転子(ロータバー8、エンドリング9)の冷却が可能となる。併せて、羽根214a、415aによって発生する風により、軸受4、5及びその潤滑材も冷却できる。このように構成された電動機は、微小隙間L1、L2で機内と外気を分離するので機内の汚れが発生せずに、また電動機の発熱を抑える効果もある。
 更に、羽根214bが無くなるため、鉄道車両で制約条件になる図13の長手方向の寸法Ldが短くなる。従って、全閉型で、冷却効果を満たし、鉄心寸法Lを大きくできるので高性能化も可能な理想的な電動機を提供できる。
 尚、鉄心押さえ10を設けない構成の場合は、ファン414とロータ鉄心407、ファン415とロータ鉄心を密着させる。また、入気口402aから流入する冷却風は、通風ファン414と軸受け4の間のロータシャフト6の近傍を通過させる構造とするが、ロータシャフト6に直接冷却風があたる構成としても良い。
 図2は本発明の実施例2に係る車両用全閉形主電動機の断面図である。この実施例2が図1に示した実施例1と異なる点は、通風ファン414のファン主板214cの羽根214a側に放熱板214dを設けた点、通風ファン415のファン主板415cの羽根415a側に放熱板415dを設けた点である。放熱板214aをつけることにより回転子(ロータバー8、エンドリング9)の熱をより多く外部へ放熱できる。この放熱板214dは、互いに隣接する羽根214aの間に複数個あってもよく、互いに隣接する羽根214aの間にない部分とある部分があってもよい。すなわち放熱板214dの個数、形状、位置を限定するものではない。また、通風ファン415の機外側にも放熱板415dを設けているが、この効果は基本的に放熱板214dと同様である。この放熱板415も個数、形状、位置を限定するものではなく、また必要に応じて取り付ければ良い。
 図3は本発明の実施例3に係る車両用全閉形主電動機の断面図である。この実施例3が図1に示した実施例1と異なる点は、反駆動軸側の通風ファン415を省いた点である。駆動軸側の通風ファン414による冷却だけで十分な場合は、反駆動軸側に通風ファンを設ける必要はない。また実施例2に示したように、ファン主板214Cに放熱板214dを取り付けてもよい。
 図4は本発明の実施例4に係る車両用全閉形主電動機の反駆動側の断面図である。この実施例4が図1に示した実施例1と異なる点は、通風路204c、入気口204b、3bに代え、ハウジング403の下部に通風路204d、上部に入気口204eを設けた点、入気口204eの上部の固定ブラケット204の下部のハウジング403と重なる部分の内側に仕切り板205を設けた点である。
 この仕切り板205の作用によって、図4中の矢印のように冷却風が流れるのでハウジング403を介して軸受5を冷却可能となり、軸受5の冷却性能を大幅に改善できる。また、通風ファン415の根元部、ロータシャフト6を冷却するので、回転子(ロータバー8、エンドリング9)の冷却にも効果を示す。
<その他の実施例>
 図1の通風路211Cは穴であるが、穴の形状を問うものではない。また穴内に冷却性能を向上させるためにフィンなどを構成してもよい。更に、図5のようにステータ鉄心211と繋ぎ板211b及びカバー416からなる空洞417を設け、この部分を通風路211cに代えるものとしてもよい。更に図6に示すように空洞を繋ぎ板211bbで構成して通風路417aとしてもよい。
 図1やその他の変形例においては、より出力の増すフレームレス構造で説明したが、フレームの有る構造で構成してもよい。また、駆動側と反駆動側を入れ替えた構成をしてもよい
 図7乃至図9にフレーム418有りの構造例を示す。図7においてはステータ鉄心211内に通風路417bを設けている。図8のように、ステータ鉄心211とフレーム418間に通風路417cを構成してもよい。また図9のようにステータ鉄心211の外側に通風路417dを設けてもよい。通風路211cやそれに匹敵する通風路は、電動機外周部全周に設けないで、部分的、または周期的な位置に構成してもよい。大きさ、形状など、さまざまなものを組合せて構成してもよい。更に本発明は、本明細書で説明したもののみで構成されるのではなく、各々の実施例を組合せて構成してもよい。以上の説明では、回転子に通風路がないものとして説明したが、回転子鉄心、押えに通風路を構成してもよい。またそれが通風路として機能しないものであってもよい。
 以上のように本発明によると、発熱体であるステ-タコイルやロータバーやエンドリングを効果的に冷却でき、併せて軸受、グリースの温度上昇も抑制でき、全閉型のメリットであるフィルターの清掃も無く、保守の大幅な省力化が可能な内部清掃レスも実現でき、更に従来以上に高性能な電動機を提供できるので、理想的な全閉外扇形電動機にすることができる。
 なお、この発明は、前記実施例に限定されるものではなく、実施段階ではその要旨を逸脱しない範囲で構成要素を変形して具体化できる。また、前記実施例に開示されている複数の構成要素を適宜組み合わせることによって種々の発明を形成できる。例えば、実施例に示される全構成要素から幾つかの構成要素を削除してもよい。更に、異なる実施例に亘る構成要素を適宜組み合わせてもよい。
 本発明は主に鉄道車両用の電動機に適用可能である。

  1.  ステータ鉄心と
    このステ-タ鉄心の内周側に配置されたロータ鉄心と、
    前記ステータ鉄心の一端部に第1のブラケットの外周部及びベアリングブラケットを介して配設された第1の軸受と、
    前記ステータ鉄心の他端部に第2のブラケットとハウジングを介して配設された第2の軸受と、
    前記ロータ鉄心が取付けられ且つ前記第1、第2の軸受で回転自在に支承されたロータシャフトと、
    前記ステータ鉄心の外周部に構成された第1の通風路と、
    回転軸から前記ベアリングブラケットの内周方向に放射状に配設された複数個の羽根を有し、前記ロータ鉄心に直接または第1の鉄心押さえを介して密着して取り付けられた第1の通風ファンと、
    前記ベアリングブラケットに設けられた第1の入気口から外気をロータシャフトに近い部分まで導入する第2の通風路と
    を具備し、

    前記第1の通風ファンにより前記第1の入気口から流入した冷却風が、前記第2の通風路から前記通風ファンの外周部、前記第1のブラケット内の通風部、及び前記第1の通風路を経由して電動機外に吐き出されるようにしたことを特徴とする車両用全閉形主電動機。
  2.  請求項1記載の車両用全閉形主電動機において、
    前記ロータ鉄心の他端部に直接または第2の鉄心押さえを介して密着して取り付けた第2の通風ファンと、
    前記第2のブラケット部に設けた第2の入気口及び第3の通風路と
    を更に具備し、
    前記第2の通風ファンのファン主板の端部と前記第2のブラケットの内周部の端部間に微小隙間を設けて回転子側と固定子側を仕切り、機内と機外を分離できるようにし、
    前記第2の通風ファンによって前記第2の入気口から流入した冷却風が、前記第2の通風ファンの外周部を経由して前記第3の通風路から電動機外に吐き出されるようにしたことを特徴とする車両用全閉形主電動機。
  3.  前記複数個の羽根は前記第1の通風ファンのファン主板の周方向に分散して取り付けられ、
    隣接する前記羽根の間の前記ファン主板に冷却用フィンを取付けたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の車両用全閉形主電動機。
  4.  請求項1記載の車両用全閉形主電動機において、
    前記第1の入気口から流入した冷却風が、前記第1の通風ファンと前記第1の軸受の間の前記ロータシャフト部周辺を流れるように、前記第2の通風路が構成されていることを特徴とする車両用全閉形主電動機。
  5.  請求項1記載の車両用全閉形主電動機において、
    前記ロータ鉄心の他端部に直接または第2の鉄心押さえを介して密着して取り付けた第2の通風ファンと、
    前記ハウジングの上部または下部に設けた第3の入気口と、
    前記ハウジングの、前記第3の入気口とは上下方向反対の位置に設けた第4の通風路と、
    前記第3の入気口の周方向外側の、前記第1のブラケットまたは前記ハウジングに取り付けられた仕切り板と
    を更に具備し、
    前記第2の通風ファンの主板の端部と前記第2のブラケットの内周部の端部間に微小隙間を設けて回転子側と固定子側を仕切り、機内と機内を分離できるようにし、
    前記第2の通風ファンによって前記第3の入気口から流入した冷却風が、前記第2の軸受けの周辺部を経由して前記第4の通風路から電動機外に吐き出されるようにしたことを特徴とする車両用全閉形主電動機。
  6.  前記ステータ鉄心の全外周の一部に取り付けた複数個の繋ぎ板によって前記第1の通風路を形成したことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の車両用全閉形主電動機。
  7.  前記ステータ鉄心の外周部に電動機フレームを設け、前記ステータ鉄心の外周部に軸方向に設けた複数個の穴を前記第1の通風路としたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の車両用全閉形主電動機。
  8.  前記ステータ鉄心の外周部に電動機フレームを設け、前記ステータ鉄心の外周部に軸方向に設けた複数個の穴を前記第1の通風路としたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の車両用全閉形主電動機。
  9.  前記ステータ鉄心の外周部に軸方向に凹凸を有する電動機フレームを設け、前記電動機フレームの凸部と前記ステータ鉄心外周部の間の空間を前記第1の通風路としたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の車両用全閉形主電動機。
  10.  前記ステータ鉄心の外周部に電動機フレームを設け、前記電動機フレームの外側に前記第1の通風路を形成したことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の車両用全閉形主電動機。
