Abstract
Description
上記平プーリ接触部分を形成するゴム組成物は、25℃における貯蔵たて弾性係数が20~60MPaで且つ100℃における貯蔵たて弾性係数が12MPa以上であると共に短繊維が配合されておらず、列理方向がベルト長さ方向に一致するように設けられていることを特徴とする。
上記平プーリ接触部分が上記ベルト本体である平ベルト本体のベルト内周面であってもよい。
図1は、実施形態1にかかるVリブドベルト10を示す。このVリブドベルト10は、例えば、自動車のエンジンルーム内に設けられる補機駆動ベルト伝動装置に用いられる。Vリブドベルト10は、例えば、ベルト周長700~3000mm、ベルト幅10~30mm、及びベルト厚さ4.0~5.0mmに形成されている。
。ゴム組成物(A)の原料ゴムに配合される配合剤としては、例えば、架橋剤、架橋促進剤、架橋促進助剤、可塑剤、プロセスオイル、老化防止剤、補強材、充填材等が挙げられる。
図4は、実施形態2にかかる平ベルト20を示す。この平ベルト20は、例えば、送風機用途のものである。
[試験評価]
Vリブドベルトについて行った試験評価について説明する。
圧縮ゴム層用の圧縮ゴム組成物、接着ゴム層用の接着ゴム組成物、及び背面ゴム層用の背面ゴム組成物1~10を準備し、実施例1~5及び比較例1~5のVリブドベルトを作製した。それぞれの構成は表1~3及び表4~5にも示す。また、製品例として、市販品A及び市販品BのVリブドベルトを準備した。
EPDM(JSR社製、商品名:JSR EP24)を原料ゴムとして、この原料ゴム100質量部に対し、カーボンブラックFEF(東海カーボン社製、商品名:シーストSO)60質量部、可塑剤(日本サン石油社製、商品名:サンパー2280)10質量部、ステアリン酸(新日本理化社製、商品名:ステアリン酸50S)1質量部、酸化亜鉛(堺化学工業社製、商品名:酸化亜鉛3種)5質量部、硫黄(細井化学社製、商品名:オイルサルファー)1.5質量部、老化防止剤(1)(大内新興化学社製、商品名:ノクセラーM)0.5質量部、老化防止剤(2)(大内新興化学社製、商品名:ノクセラーTS)2.5質量部、及びナイロン短繊維(旭化成社製、商品名:ナイロン66 タイプT-5、繊維長1mm)20質量部からなる配合剤と、を密閉式混練機で5分間混練し、圧縮ゴム層を形成するための未架橋ゴム組成物とした。
EPDM(JSR社製、商品名:JSR EP33)を原料ゴムとして、この原料ゴム100質量部に対し、カーボンブラックFEF85質量部、可塑剤15質量部、ステアリン酸1質量部、酸化亜鉛5質量部、硫黄1.5質量部、老化防止剤(1)0.5質量部、及び、老化防止剤(2)2.5質量部からなる配合剤と、を密閉式混練機で5分間混練し、接着ゴム層を形成するための未架橋ゴム組成物とした。
EPDM(1)(JSR社製、商品名:JSR EP25、エチレン含量59質量%)を原料ゴムとして、この原料ゴム100質量部に対し、カーボンブラックFEF80質量部、可塑剤8質量部、ステアリン酸1質量部、酸化亜鉛5質量部、硫黄1.5質量部、老化防止剤(1)0.5質量部、及び老化防止剤(2)2.5質量部からなる配合剤と、を密閉式混練機で5分間混練し、未架橋ゴム組成物を得た。これを、背面ゴム組成物1とした。
カーボンブラックの配合量を70質量部としたことを除いて背面ゴム組成物1と同一の構成の未架橋ゴム組成物を調製し、これを背面ゴム組成物2とした。
原料ゴムとしてEPDM(2)(JSR社製、商品名:JSR EP24、エチレン含量54質量%)を用いたことを除いて背面ゴム組成物1と同一の構成の未架橋ゴム組成物を調製し、これを背面ゴム組成物3とした。
カーボンブラックFEFの配合量を85質量部、及び可塑剤の配合量を4質量部としたことを除いて背面ゴム組成物3と同一の構成の未架橋ゴム組成物を調製し、これを背面ゴム組成物4とした。
可塑剤を配合しなかったことを除いて背面ゴム組成物4と同一の構成の未架橋ゴム組成物を調製し、これを背面ゴム組成物5とした。
原料ゴムとしてEPDM(3)(JSR社製、商品名:JSR EP21、エチレン含量61質量%)を用いたこと、及び、カーボンブラックFEFの配合量を60質量部としたことをを除いて、背面ゴム組成物1と同一の構成の未架橋ゴム組成物を調製し、これを背面ゴム組成物6とした。
カーボンブラックFEFの配合量を80質量部としたことを除き、背面ゴム組成物1と同一の構成の未架橋ゴム組成物を調製し、これを背面ゴム組成物7とした。
カーボンブラックFEFの配合量を75質量部としたことを除き、背面ゴム組成物3と同一の構成の未架橋ゴム組成物を調製し、これを背面ゴム組成物8とした。
ナイロン短繊維を10質量部配合したことを除いて背面ゴム組成物2と同一の構成の未架橋ゴム組成物を調製し、これを背面ゴム組成物9とした。
カーボンブラックFEFの配合量を85質量部としたことを除き、背面ゴム組成物4と同一の構成の未架橋ゴム組成物を調製し、これを背面ゴム組成物10とした。
接着ゴム組成物、圧縮ゴム組成物、及び背面ゴム組成物1を、シート状に加工した。そして、それぞれの未架橋ゴムシートを用いて、接着ゴム層、圧縮ゴム層、及び背面ゴム層を形成することにより、Vリブドベルトを作製し、これを実施例1とした。
背面ゴム層を形成するゴム組成物として背面ゴム組成物2を用いたことを除いて実施例1と同一の構成のVリブドベルトを作製し、これを実施例2とした。
背面ゴム層を形成するゴム組成物として背面ゴム組成物3を用いたことを除いて実施例1と同一の構成のVリブドベルトを作製し、これを実施例3とした。
背面ゴム層を形成するゴム組成物として背面ゴム組成物4を用いたことを除いて実施例1と同一の構成のVリブドベルトを作製し、これを実施例4とした。
背面ゴム層を形成するゴム組成物として背面ゴム組成物5を用いたことを除いて実施例1と同一の構成のVリブドベルトを作製し、これを実施例5とした。
背面ゴム層を形成するゴム組成物として背面ゴム組成物6を用いたことを除いて実施例1と同一の構成のVリブドベルトを作製し、これを比較例1とした。
背面ゴム層を形成するゴム組成物として背面ゴム組成物7を用いたことを除いて実施例1と同一の構成のVリブドベルトを作製し、これを比較例2とした。
背面ゴム層を形成するゴム組成物として背面ゴム組成物8を用いたことを除いて実施例1と同一の構成のVリブドベルトを作製し、これを比較例3とした。
背面ゴム層を形成するゴム組成物として背面ゴム組成物9を用い、背面ゴム層の列理方向がベルトの幅方向となるようにして構成したことを除いて実施例1と同一の構成のVリブドベルトを作製し、これを比較例4とした。
背面ゴム層を形成するゴム組成物として背面ゴム組成物10を用いたことを除いて比較例4と同一の構成のVリブドベルトを作製し、これを比較例5とした。
市販品Aとして、ベルト幅10.68mm、ベルト厚さ4.3mm、リブピッチ3.56mm、及びリブ数が3のVリブドベルトを準備した。市販品Aの背面ゴム層はEPDMゴム組成物で形成されたものであった。
市販品Bとして、ベルト幅10.68mm、ベルト厚さ4.0mm、リブピッチ3.56mm、及びリブ数が3のVリブドベルトを準備した。市販品Bの背面ゴム層は背面ゴム組成物9で形成されたものであった。
<試験評価1>
図5は、試験評価1で用いたベルト走行機50のプーリレイアウトを示す。
図7は、試験評価2で用いたベルト走行試験機70のプーリレイアウトを示す。
図8は、試験評価3で用いたベルト走行試験機80のプーリレイアウトを示す。

Claims (4)
- エチレン含量が60質量%以下のエチレン-α-オレフィンエラストマーを原料ゴムとするゴム組成物で形成された平プーリ接触部分を有するベルト本体を備えた伝動ベルトであって、
上記平プーリ接触部分を形成するゴム組成物は、25℃における貯蔵たて弾性係数が20~60MPaで且つ100℃における貯蔵たて弾性係数が12MPa以上であると共に短繊維が配合されておらず、列理方向がベルト長さ方向に一致するように設けられていることを特徴とする伝動ベルト。 - 請求項1に記載された伝動ベルトにおいて、
上記平プーリ接触部分がベルト背面部分であることを特徴とする伝動ベルト。 - 請求項2に記載された伝動ベルトにおいて、
上記ベルト本体がVリブドベルト本体であることを特徴とする伝動ベルト。 - 請求項1に記載された伝動ベルトにおいて、
