Abstract
Description
実施形態1に係る歯付ベルトBの製造方法について、図3〜図6に基づいて説明する。
―基部及び歯部用の未架橋ゴムシート11’―
素練りしているゴム成分に、各種のゴム配合剤を投入して混練を継続する。
歯部側補強布12'に対して接着処理を施す。具体的には、歯部側補強布12'に、RFL水溶液に浸漬して加熱するRFL接着処理を施す。また、必要に応じて、RFL接着処理前に下地接着処理液に浸漬して加熱する下地接着処理を施す。また、必要に応じて、RFL接着処理後にゴム糊に浸漬して乾燥させるソーキングゴム糊接着処理、及び/又は、歯付ベルト本体10側となる面にゴム糊をコーティングして乾燥させるコーティングゴム糊接着処理を施す。
心線13'に対して接着処理を施す。具体的には、心線13'に、レゾルシン・ホルマリン・ラテックス水溶液(以下「RFL水溶液」という。)に浸漬して加熱するRFL接着処理を施す。また、必要に応じて、RFL接着処理前に下地接着処理液に浸漬して加熱する下地接着処理、及び/又は、RFL接着処理後にゴム糊に浸漬して乾燥させるゴム糊接着処理を施す。
図4に示すように、ベルト成形型20の外周に筒状の歯部側補強布12'を被せ、その上から心線13'を螺旋状に巻き付け、更にその上から未架橋ゴムシート11'を巻き付ける。このとき、ベルト成形型20上には積層成形体B'が形成される。なお、未架橋ゴムシート11'は、列理方向がベルト長さ方向に対応するように使用しても、また、列理方向がベルト幅方向に対応するように使用しても、どちらでもよい。
図5に示すように、積層成形体B'の外周に離型紙22を巻き付けた後、その上からゴムスリーブ23を被せ、それを加硫缶内に配置して密閉すると共に、加硫缶内に高温及び高圧の蒸気を充填して所定の成型時間だけ保持する。このとき、積層成形体B'における未架橋ゴムシートが歯部側補強布12'を押圧しながら流動してベルト成形型20の歯部形成溝21に流入し、また、その架橋が進行し、且つそれと歯部側補強布12'及び心線13'とが複合一体化し、最終的に、図6に示すように、円筒状のベルトスラブSが成型される。なお、ベルトスラブSの成型温度は例えば100〜180℃、成型圧力は例えば0.5〜2.0MPa、及び成型時間は例えば10〜60分である。
加硫缶の内部を減圧して密閉を解き、ベルト成形型20とゴムスリーブ23との間に成型されたベルトスラブSを取り出して脱型し、その背面側を研磨して厚さ調整を行った後、所定幅に輪切りすることにより歯付ベルトBが製造される。
以下のように、歯付ベルト本体形成用の未架橋ゴム組成物のゴム1と、歯部側補強布のゴム糊接着層用の未架橋ゴム組成物のゴム2とを作成した。
H−NBR(日本ゼオン社製 商品名:Zetpol 2020)を素練りすると共に、そこに、H−NBR100質量部に対し、補強材のFEFカーボンブラック(東海カーボン社製 商品名:シーストSO)を40質量部、加工助剤のステアリン酸(日油社製 商品名:ステアリン酸つばき)を1質量部、加硫促進助剤の酸化亜鉛(堺化学工業社製 商品名:酸化亜鉛2種)を5質量部、可塑剤を10質量部、共架橋剤の液状NBR(日本ゼオン社製、商品名:Nipol 1312)を5質量部、架橋剤の硫黄(日本乾溜工業社製 商品名:オイルサルファー)を0.5質量部、チウラム系加硫促進剤(大内新興化学社製、商品名:ノクセラーTET−G)を2質量部、及びアミン−ケトン系老化防止剤(大内新興株式会社製、商品名:ノクラック224)を2質量部それぞれ投入して混練することにより未架橋ゴム組成物を作製した。この未架橋ゴム組成物をゴム1とした。
メタクリル酸亜鉛強化H−NBR(日本ゼオン社製 商品名:Zeoforte ZSC 2295)及びH−NBR(日本ゼオン社製 商品名:Zetpole 2020)を、前者及び後者の混合質量比を50:50として素練りすると共に、そこに、これらのゴム成分100質量部に対し、補強材のFEFカーボンブラック(東海カーボン社製 商品名:シーストSO)を20質量部、摩擦係数低減材の超高分子量ポリエチレン粉末(三井化学社製 商品名:ミペロンXM−220)を10質量部、架橋剤の硫黄(日本乾溜工業社製 商品名:オイルサルファー)を0.5質量部、チウラム系加硫促進剤(大内新興化学社製、商品名:ノクセラーTET−G)を2質量部、及びアミン−ケトン系老化防止剤(大内新興株式会社製、商品名:ノクラック224)を2質量部それぞれ投入して混練することにより未架橋ゴム組成物を作製した。この未架橋ゴム組成物をゴム2とした。
歯部側補強布12を構成するための布として、綾織布を用いた。綾織布において、経糸及び緯糸の繊度及び打込本数を設定することにより、厚さの異なる4種類の布a、b、c及びdを作成した。後にも述べる通り、これらの布a〜dを用いて、巡に、試作評価用ベルトA〜Dを作成する。
心線としては、ガラス繊維製のものを用いた。
歯付ベルト本体を形成する未架橋ゴム組成物としてゴム1、歯部補強布として上記の綾織布a、b、c及びdを用い、歯部側補強布12の厚さの異なる4つの試作評価用歯付ベルトA、B、C及びDを作成した。ベルト幅は6mm、ベルト長は330mmである。
図7に、耐熱走行試験機のプーリレイアウトを示す。試験機においていずれもS2M型、41歯のタイミングプーリである駆動プーリ61及び従動プーリ62が水平方向に並んで配置されている。従動プーリ62に対して駆動プーリ61と反対側に160Nの荷重を印加し、トルク0.1Nm、回転数1800rpmの条件でベルトを走行させた。雰囲気温度は125℃である。

Claims (3)
- 歯付ベルト本体及び補強布を備える歯付ベルトにおいて、
前記歯付ベルト本体は、ゴム組成物で形成され、且つ、平帯状の基部と、前記基部の一方側の面にベルト長さ方向に間隔をおいて一体に設けられた複数のゴム歯部とを有し、
前記補強布は、前記歯付ベルト本体に、その歯部側表面を被覆するように貼設されており、
前記ゴム歯部が前記補強布に覆われた布被覆歯部において、当該布被覆歯部の体積に対する前記補強布の体積の比率は、60%以上であり、
前記補強布は、前記歯付ベルト本体に対して接着層を介して貼設されており、
前記接着層は、H−NBRゴムを含有することを特徴とする歯付ベルト。 - 請求項1の歯付ベルトにおいて、
前記歯付ベルト本体に対し、その長さ方向に延びるように埋設されたグラスファイバーからなる心線を備え、
前記歯付ベルト本体を構成する前記ゴム組成物は、ゴム成分としてH−NBR及びEPDMの少なくとも一方を含み、
前記補強布は、ナイロンを含むことを特徴とする歯付ベルト。 - 請求項1又は2の歯付ベルトにおいて、
複数の前記布被覆歯部は、2mm以上で且つ3mm以下のピッチで設けられていることを特徴とする歯付ベルト。
